Matt Stone vs Johnathon Riker

TV Title Contendership Match

Eric Emerson: “The following match is scheduled for one fall and it is for a television title match at High Stakes. Introducing first, he is from Ottawa, Ontario Canada, weighing in at one hundred-nitey pounds…Matt Stone!”

God Damn I Love Me

The opening of Tear Away can be heard as from the back Matt Stone walks out with a smirk of arrogance. Sure the kid was green, but he had something to prove, and where better than on the stage of Pioneer Wrestling Association. He walked passed the kids in the aisle seats, not even glancing at them, regardless if they had their hands outstretched for a five or not. He would stop near the steps and turn to a woman in the front row. "After I beat your hero, you and I can have dinner and talk about how great I look" he remarks with a smirk, ignoring her reaction as he arrogantly walks up the step, taking his sweet ol' time. He stops on the apron and looks out to the crowd, just shaking his head. He'd get in the ring and walk over to the opposite ropes he was just at and put a foot on the middle rope, the other on the bottom, glaring at the peons as he called them. He would then walk back over to the center of the ring and run his right hand through his hair, awaiting to show these people what he was capable of.

Eric Emerson: “And his opponent from Parts Unknown, weighing in tonight at two hundred-forty pounds….he is Johnathan Riiiiiiiiiikerrrrrrr!”

"This is the way the world will end..."

Riker's voice haunted the crowd as it echoed throughout the arena, the lights blacked out and left the arena in darkness, suddenly Slipknot's Opium Of The People hit the PA, and just as the ripping guitar hit the PA, the lights returned, flashing to the beat of the music. Soon smoke began to pour out from the backstage. Suddenly from the smoke a figure could bee seen. The shadow stepped out from the fog and into the dimmed flashing lights, to reveal to the crowd it was the sinister, Johnathan Riker. Riker walked from the entrance way with a hunched back, his head tilted to the side staring into the ring like a curious creature. After making his way down the ramp, Riker crawls into the ring, getting to his hand and feet and crawling to the far right corner. Their Johnathan sat on the bottom turnbuckle, staring into the eyes of his opponent.

Behind the men, the bell sounded and Riker came to life. Leaping off his seated perch, Johnathan dashed at Stone and caught him off guard, tackling him down to the mat early. Riker would send a flurry of shots down upon Matt who had no other option than to simply cover up. Referee Scott Swindell started to count up to five for Riker to break who got to the four before Riker got off. Stone was taken by surprise and would try to roll out of the ring for a break but was stopped short as his right leg was grabbed. Riker pulled Matt back towards the center of would then drop an elbow into Stone’s lower back. Matt cried out in pain as Riker got up quickly and dropped another sharp elbow. Johnathan got up a third time, grabbing Matt’s hair and brought him to a vertical base as well. Scott scolded Johnathan for the hair pull, but Riker didn’t care. Stone stood there holding his back and Riker felt it was a good time for some high offence. Dashing at the ropes, Riker came back for a jumping clothesline but was caught in the air with a huge overhead belly to belly.

After landing on his back, Riker sat up immediately out of pain. Stone would roll to his stomach and call for Riker to get up, which he was already in the process of doing. Matt would approach him and lock him quickly in a side headlock.. While in the hold, Riker would be losing more and more energy and he didn’t like that, so he backed up quickly against the ropes and sent Matt off the other side of the ring. Rebounding off them, Matt came back with Riker charging, but Riker appeared to have slipped, his right foot shooting up and catching Stone right underneath the jaw, hitting him with a Malicious Strike. Stone was laid out in the ring and Riker would go for the cover.

Scott Swindell: One…Two…

Stone was able to kick out of the strike, still having some energy left. Riker would get up and try to stomp Matt into the ring with the force he was sending, but Matt was able to roll out of the way and make his way to his feet. Riker would charge into Stone for a clothesline, but this time he was caught off guard by Matt’s speed who was able to sidestep him and push him into the turnbuckle, Johnathan hitting the top turnbuckle with his head, backing up slightly dazed. Matt would go for a schoolboy cover and when the ref got down for the count, Matt would put his feet on the middle rope.

Scott Swindell: One…Two…

Despite the cheating, Riker was able to get the kick out and leave Stone with a near fall. A little agitated now, Riker started to get to his feet along with Stone. Matt knew that Riker was aggressive so he had to keep the heat on, looking to get Riker in a reverse waist lock to slow him down enough to give Stone a chance to think. Riker shot an elbow back though and caught Stone on the chin. Riker turned around looking for a haymaker, but Matt once again had the speed advantage and ducked behind him with his arm around Riker’s neck. Stone then dropped down to his kneed, bringing Riker across his back with the Stone Cutter. Matt would immediately go for the cover, hooking both legs. Scott quickly got down to the mat to start the count.

Scott Swindell: One…Two…

Riker shot the shoulder up, he wasn’t beat yet. Matt got to his feet, trying to bring Riker to his feet by the mask. Riker quickly broke the hold Matt had with his power and just send a bullet via his right foot into the midsection of Stone, doubling him over. Johnathan grabbed his head and slipped his head underneath, dropping down to his knees with a jawbreaker, Matt’s chin bouncing off the skull of Riker. Matt snapped back against the ropes and Riker grabbed his right arm, pulling him closer and ducking down, lifting Stone up on his shoulders and dropping backwards with a Samoan drop. Matt was flattened underneath the power of Riker and Johnathan only need hook the leg for the next cover of the match. Once again, Scott was there got the count.

Scott Swindell: One…Two…

Matt got the shoulder off the mat at the two count, Riker not really surprised, but now he had the advantage. Riker had seen Stone’s promo and his match last week and decided that he’s start to work on his neck to set him up for the Blackout. Grabbing Stone’s head in a front chancery, Johnathan pulled Matt to his feet and drove him back down with a DDT. Trying to stay aggressive, Riker would grab Matt’s right arm and drag him over to the bottom rope, lifting his head on the bottom rope and stepping on in, forcing pressure down across Matt’s throat and head. Scott started his count and Riker had to break on four or risk being disqualified on five. Riker backed up as Matt started to get to his feet coughing out. Johnathan charged in as Stone turned around and hit him with a hard European uppercut, Matt’s head snapping up as he backed into a corner, almost falling over and he would have if the corner hadn’t have been there.

Riker came in to close the gap between the two, staying as aggressive as he could, delivering not one, not two but three shoulder thrusts, feeling he had Stone on the ropes literally and figuratively. Riker grabbed Matt’s head once again and positioned him out of the corner slightly enough to get to the top rope. He hooked Stone’s head under his arm while sitting on the top rope, looking to hit him with his Kataklysm. Stone, however, had something else in mind. As Riker stood up to get the leap, Matt would try and shove Riker’s right foot hoping he’d lose balance. Riker sat back down out of instinct and Matt was able to get his head out of the grasp. Knowing he had to capitalize, Matt would give Riker a throat trust to keep him up there. Stone would then go out to the apron through the middle rope and start to climb up the turnbuckle Riker was sitting on. Riker started to throw elbows into Matt’s gut, causing him to start to lose his balance.

Matt was starting to fall but stuck his finger right into Riker’s eye. Johnathan was blinded from the dirty tactic and held his face, giving Matt the time he needed to catch his balance. Riker was sitting on the turnbuckle holding his head so he didn’t see Matt put his foot over the top to the inside and grab the top rope, getting his other foot on the inside as well. He would slink over closer and with one hand on the top rope, send a chop to Johnathan’s chest causing him to grab at the ropes on either side of him for balance and that’s what Matt was looking for. Stone springboarded off the ropes he was standing on and grabbed at Riker’s head, bringing up his knees and falling backwards hitting Riker with a C-C-C-C-Combo Breaker off the top rope!

Both men fell to the mat, Stone now sensing the win would try and roll Riker onto his back and hook the outside leg, which he was able to do as Scott came over for the cover.

Scott Swindell: One…Two…Three!

Stone had won the match, raising his hand in the air only a moment before rolling out of the ring, holding the back of his head. Riker had done his damage in the match and Stone just wanted out of there, but regardless he was moving on to High Stakes to face the champion for the Television title.

Ian rebounds, KK ducks his head, swinging neckbreaker sends KK down to the mat. Ian quickly makes a cover, but KK kicks out before the count of one.

Jon McDaniel: These two starting off fast here.

Brian Rentfro: U! S! A! U! S! A!

KK is pulled up to a vertical base by Ian and he delivers a right handed jab into Ian's midsection doubling him over. KK whips Ian into the ropes, Ian rebounds. Leap frog from KK allows Ian to pass unmolested to the opposite side ropes, KK drops down to the mat and Ian jumps over him to hits the ropes again. KK with a dropkick sends Ian flying over the top rope to land on the apron. KK charges over, shoulder block from Ian halts his progress. Ian with a right hand and a boot to the midsection before climbing back into the ring. Ian grabs KK in a wristlock, moving to a behind the back wristlock, KK reverses. Dropping the wristlock, KK delivers a forearm smash to the back of Ian's neck before springboarding with a axehandle smash onto the neck as well sending Ian down to the mat.

"Viva La Kumquat!"

KK runs to the corner, scaling it quickly, leaping backwards with a moonsault that hits canvas as Ian rolls under the bottom rope out of the way. KK's hands and knees take most of the fall, but he winces in pain. Ian climbs quickly to the tope rope jumping with a leg drop across the neck of KK sending him face first into the canvas.

Jon McDaniel: Two high risk moves and only one pays off.

Brian Rentfro: U! S! A! U! S! A!

Ian hooks KK in the position for a cradle neckbreaker and delivers a picture perfect cradle neckbreaker and makes a cover.

One... Two...--The crowd yells "Twooooooo" as KK kicks out with some authority. Ian pulls KK up to his feet by the hair on his head and yells out "U!S!A!", but it gives KK time to nail him in the ribs releasing his hair momentarily. KK with a quick wristlock, tucking his head under Ian's armpit, lifting him and slamming him down with an inverted atomic drop. Ian clutches at his thigh as KK springboards from the middle rope with a flying axe lariat and Ian is down. KK quickly climbs to the top turnbuckle diving with a flying leg drop across Ian's throat and KK hooks the leg for a pin.

KK pulls Ian back up to his feet whipping him into the corner where he follows in with a high knee lift before climbing up to the top turnbuckle. KK dives backwards, hooking Ian's head between his legs, and sends Ian sliding across the ring with a beautiful hurricanrana. The crowd is getting behind this offense of KK and are chanting "We Love Kumquats"(clap, clap, clap clap clap) over and over again. KK is urging them on as he runs towards Ian's inert form on the canvas, he scales the turnbuckles again , twisting on the top turnbuckle and leaping with a 450 degrees splash that hits Ian perfectly and KK again makes a quick cover.

One... T--NO, Ian manages to get his foot in the ropes and stop the count after one.

Jon McDaniel: Ian managing to get a foot on the ropes there to stop the count.

Brian Rentfro: The ring awareness of Emperor Ian is unmatched here in PWA.

Jon McDaniel: Surprised you can say anything besides USA.

Brian Rentfro: So what? I'm patriotic.

KK pulls Ian back up to his feet and an eye gouge from Ian gets him back into this match up. Ian with a right hand sends KK stumbling backwards, but a quick hair pull brings KK back in range of the brawling type punches. Ian with another right hand sends KK backwards. Ian leaps from the middle rope with a reverse bulldog that sends KK down to the mat, but Ian doesn't make a cover this time. Ian opts for a hammerlock step over arm lock combination, but it is near the ropes if only KK can reach them. KK reaches, but is just inches too far away and Ian points at his head showing that he knows his ring awareness is unmatched here in PWA. Squirming to the side, KK manages the ropes, but Ian doesn't release the hold; the referee counts. Ian releases after a count of four pulling KK into the middle of the ring. Ian quickly goes behind KK with a half-nelson hold, applying alot of pressure onto KK's neck area. Ian lifts KK up slamming him down with a move that he calls the Imperial Plex, but again doesn't make a cover, he is set on hurting KK in this match. With that in mind, Ian pulls KK back up to a vertical position kneeing him in the gut with some force causing KK to gasp in attempts to regain his breath. Ian yells out "U!S!A!", then lifts KK up dropping him down with a brainbuster in the very center of the ring. Ian hooks the leg and makes the cover.

One... Two... Th--NO! KK kicks out, but just barely and Ian can't believe it. Ian lays a few right hands into KK's skull trying to dizzy him and injure him further before he swhips him towards the ropes. KK springboards onto the middle rope connecting with a tornado DDT that catches Ian unprepared and sends him head first into the canvas. The crowd is trying their best to get behind KK in this match. They are clapping and yelling trying to give the King of Kumquats some much needed energy in this matchup against Ian. KK's hand and arm begin to tap the mat along with the clapping of the crowd and he rolls over to his hands and knees, his head nodding along with the clapping as well.

Brian Rentfro: U ! S! A! U! S! A!

Jon McDaniel: Kumquat Kid is getting back into this match.

KK with a standing moonsault splash but he knows Ian is too close to the ropes to attempt a cover. KK hits the ropes delivering a baseball slide that nearly sends Ian out of the ring, KK has a look in his eyes of victory and begins to clap along with the crowd. Ian pulls himself to a vertical base on the ring apron and KK delivers a chop, a chop fro Ian. KK with another chop and a WOOOO, Ian with another chop, but no WOOOO. KK with a third chop and a subsequent WOOOOO a boot from KK sends Ian over into a bent position and KK lifts him over the top rope with a vertical suplex. Ian twists bring KK down with an inverted DDT. But KK holds onto the top rope blocking the inverted DDT. Ian crashes hard on the canvas on his back and KK holds at his neck in pain. KK climbs to the top rope shouting "Viva La Kumquat!", the crowd returns the shout and he leaps with a shooting star press and a cover.

One... Two... Thr--NO! Ian manages to roll his shoulder up just in time.

Jon McDaniel: Close there for The Kumquat Kid.

Brian Rentfro: Viva La U! S! A!

KK slumps back in the corner wondering what it will take to put Ian away for a pinfall here tonight. Ian gets up to his hands and knees before sitting back on his knees wiping at his face. KK takes this chance to deliver a massive step up enzeguri but Ian ducks and wraps his arms around KK’s waist from behind and throws himself backwards, crashing KK’s shoulders to the canvas with a bridge!

Jon McDaniel: HOLY! Ian pinned the Kumquat Kid!!

Brian Rentfro: No freaking way!

In the ring, the ref goes and informs Eric Emerson and Emerson announces.

Eric Emerson: The winner of the match, and new number one contender for the PWA Grizzly Beer Championship………. The KUMQUAT KID!!!

Jon McDaniel: WHAT!?

Brian Rentfro: How!? What!? How!?

Jon McDaniel: I want to see the replay!

In the ring, Ian is shouting at the referee while KK slumps in the corner, smirking. On the ADC-Tron, it shows the replay of Ian hitting the back suplex on KK and pinning him, but as the ref counted the three, both men’s shoulders were on the canvas and from the position of the referee, he saw Ian’s shoulder’s down and not both of KKs!

Brian Rentfro: Ok.. but I still don’t get why the ref is giving the match to KK! Both sets of shoulders were clearly down!

Ian is really on and on to the referee, pointing at the replay that Kumquat’s shoulders were down. Ian continues to argue as we fade to a commercial break.

Jethro Hayes vs Johnny Maverick

The distorted guitar of 'Rise Above by Black Flag fills the arena as a spotlight with the Anarchy symbol searches about the arena before finally settling on the entranceway, Johnny Maverick steps out raising the shocker up to the audience who boos him loudly.

Eric Emerson: The following is a non-title match and is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Washington D.C. He is the Anarchistic Ideal....JOHNNY....MAVERICK!!!

"Jealous cowards try to control
Rise above, we're gonna rise above
They distort what we say

When they can't do it themselves
Rise above, we're gonna rise above."

Johnny sprints down the ramp to the ring, pumping his fist along to the music, the spotlight following him as he runs.

"We! Are tired! Of your! Abuse!
Try to stop us, it's no use!"

Jon McDaniel: Johnny coming off of a hard loss at last weeks Rampage, losing the Television Title after just one week.

Brian Rentfro: Yeah but don't count Johnny out just yet, it's like he said, he feels he has something to prove... and don't forget he won that television title on his FIRST MATCH here at the company.... ain't many that can say that.

Johnny slides under the bottom rope and stands quickly, he makes sure to hit each corner so everyone gets a clear view of him giving them the finger.

"Society's arms of control
Rise above, we're gonna rise above
Think they're smart, can't think for themselves
Rise above, we're gonna rise above
Laugh at us behind our backs
Rise above, we're gonna rise above
I find satisfaction in what they lack
Rise above, we're gonna rise above"

Johnny jumps down from the turnbuckle, he smiles playfully as he dismisses the audiences hail of boos with a wanking motion. He casually leans in the corner, waiting for his opponent.

The cranking of a tractor is heard throughout the arena and the video entrance of Jethro Hayes begins playing over the big screen. Cows moo, on the screen cows are shown in a green pasture. Pigs are oinking, on the screen pigs run around in mud within a fence. The scene on the screen goes to rolling hills, showing combines in the field harvesting crops, tractors harrowing the ground preparing for the new crop; semi trucks are hauling off the harvested crop. A man walks up the 3 steps and opens the door on the cab of his John Deere tractor, he is wearing a John Deere trucker hat, and is missing a few teeth, evident by the grinning face he turns to the camera, he waves at the camera; it is part of a family video. He climbs on into the cab of the tractor; along with the cranking of the tractor on the screen, the beginning of Thank God I'm a Country Boy by John Denver begins to play over the speaker system.

~Well life on the farm is kinda laid back
~Aint much an old country boy like me cant hack
~Its early to rise, early in the sack
~Thank God Im a country boy

The curtains are pulled back by two people and the front of a John Deere 4720 tractor is seen in the backstage area, smoke boiling up from the muffler.

~Well a simple kinda life never did me no harm
~A raisin me a family and workin on a farm
~My days are all filled with an easy country charm
~Thank God Im a country boy

When the words "kinda laid back" are heard, the tractor begins moving forward slowly down the ramp the tractor is moving at about 3 miles an hour.

Eric Emerson: "From Lean Ox, Ga; weighing 315 pounds and standing at 6' 7"... Jethro Hayes!"[/color]

With the mentioning of his name, Jethro toots the tractor's horn inside the cab and waves to the crowd, he revs the tractor's engine slightly in response to the crowd.

~Well I got me a fine wife I got me a fiddle
~When the suns comin up I got cakes on the griddle
~Life aint nothin but a funny funny riddle
~Thank God Im a country boy

Brian Rentfro: Also joining us here at ringside is the man challenging Jethro for the title at High Stakes....none other than the Viper...Mr. Hunter Sullivan! You plannin on startin some shit out here Hunter?

Hunter Sullivan: Thanks a lot for having me out here Brian, but I'm just here to scout out the big Redneck...

The tractor arrives at the bottom of the ramp and Jethro stops the tractor, toots the horn while reving the tractor to full power; then he shuts the tractor off. Jethro climbs out of the tractor to a huge pop, he waves and climbs down. Jethro is wearing overalls with a yellow John Deere shirt underneath, brown Wolverine boots, and a John Deere hat.

~When the works all done and the suns settlin low
~I pull out my fiddle and I rosin up the bow
~The kids are asleep so I keep it kinda low
~Thank God Im a country boy
~Id play sally goodin all day if I could
~But the lord and my wife wouldnt take it very good

He touches a few fans hands on his way to the ring steps. He climbs up the steps and gets into the ring He walks to one corner and waves to those fans.

~Well I got me a fine wife I got me a fiddle
~When the suns comin up I got cakes on the griddle
~Life aint nothin but a funy funny riddle
~Thank God Im a country boy

He walks to another corner and waves to those fans, nodding along with the music.

~Well I wouldnt trade my life for diamonds and jewels
~I never was one of them money hungry fools
~Iid rather have my fiddle and my farmin tools
~Thank God Im a country boy

He walks to the third corner and waves to those fans with thumbs up in the air, still nodding along with the music; he mimics playing a fiddle.

~Yeah, city folk drivin in a black limousine
~A lotta sad people thinkin thats mighty keen
~Son, let me tell ya now exactly what I mean
~Thank God Im a country boy

Reaching the fourth corner, he takes off his hat and throws it into the crowd; just as he turns around, JOHNNY RUNS AT HIM, ATTEMPTING A SHOTEI! Jethro dodges out of the way and Johnny stops himself at the ropes, with the two a bit seperated, the ref scolds Johnny before calling for the bell.

Johnny shows Jethro all the respect he feels he's earned by giving him the middle finger. Jethro quickly steps forward and grabs a hold of it, then just starts bending his middle finger.

Jon McDaniel: Hopefully that'll teach Maverick a little bit of respect....but I highly doubt it.

Johnny finally slips his finger out of Jethro's powerful clutches and takes a few steps back. He scratches his chin and then meets Jethro in the center of the ring, quickly locking the big man in a collar and elbow tie up. Jethro easily overpowers Johnny, pushing him into a corner, but Johnny quickly grabs him and switches their spots, quickly nailing him in the chest with a few beautiful knife-edge chops. Jethro grabs him by the collar and switches places with HIM and throws a few brutal looking punches into the chest of the young Anarchist. Jethro takes a few steps back the comes running back, going for a big splash in the corner, but Johnny ducks around him and locks his arms around his waist from behind, quickly snapping him back with a German Suplex!

As soon as Jethro hits the mat, Johnny drops his knee right down onto Jethros shoulder and the whole audience can tell Jethro feels it.

Jon McDaniel: Rumor has it Jethro has been having some problems with that arm and shoulder....

Hunter Sullivan: Johnnys been doing his homework, no one can pick apart a body part like Johnny.....well maybe no one but me...

Johnny runs to the ropes and jumps up, trying to bring his knee down HARD on Jethros shoulder, but Jethro sits up just in time! Johnny clutches at his knee for a moment and Jethro sees an oppurtunity to give the arrogant youngster a taste of his own medicine, quickly stomping hard on Johnnys knee!

A man in a black hooded robe tries to jump out of the audience, but security holds him back.

Jon McDaniel: What the..... who was that?

Hunter Sullivan: We've really been pullin in the wackos lately.

Jethro grabs Johnnys legs while he's down and signals to the audience that he's putting Johnny away. He starts to set up for the Combine Seat but in a last-ditch effort, Johnny manages to push Jethro away with his feet, Johnny gets to a crouching position and in a flash grabs Jethro around the legs and brings him down with an MMA takedown! Johnny gets on top of Hayes and starts hammering him with furious punches. The punches continue to come raining down hard on the champion. Johnnys flurry of punches is capitalized with a disrespectful smack across the face as Johnny gets right in Jethro's facer and announces “I'M BETTER THAN YOU!!!”

Right after the word 'you' passes through Johnnys lips, Jethro hits him square in the nose with a brutal looking punch. Johnny jumps off of Jethro, half from sheer force and half to make sure his nose isn't broken.

Jethro stands and quickly whips Johnny into a corner hard, then comes charging at him, hitting him with a splash in the corner! Johnnys body crumples to the mat from the impact and Jethro takes a moment to signal to the fans that he's about to put Johnny away, but as soon as Jethro turns back around, Johnny is running at him, attempting his OFMF palm strike once more, but Jethro just grabs Johnnys extended arm and whips him past him! Jethro takes a three point stance as Johnny comes running back to attempt the OFMF again but Jethro NAILS HIM HARD WITH THE PLOW!!!!!

Brian Rentfro: Oh no! It looks like that big idiot is gonna put Johnny away!

Johnny hits the mat HARD and Hunter stands up and takes off his headset, talking trash to the champion who takes notice and starts talking back. All of a sudden the man in the hood jumps up on the turnbuckle and spits a red fluid in Jethros face!!!

Brian Rentfro: I don't know what the hell just happened, but I think I like it!

Jon McDaniel: I DO know what just happened Brian, and if it means what I think it means...

The man pulls off the cloak and hood and we see the visage of Danny Daemon! Danny is still wearing his familiar mask but also is decked out in a black suit and red tie.

Dwayne Cross takes one look at Danny and then over at Jethros face and calls for the bell.

Eric Emerson: Here is your winner, by disqualification.... JETHRO HAYES!!!

'Thank God I'm a Country Boy' begins to play but is cut short as Johnny brings an elbow down on Jethros shoulder from behind! Jethro falls to a knee clutching the already abused shoulder.

The bell rings frantically as a sadistic look crosses Johnnys face... He smacks Jethro across the face and demands he 'be a man and stand up'. The fans cheer for Jethro who finally manages to stand on his feet! But as soon as he reaches a vertical base Johnny quickly locks him in an arm wrench!

Jon McDaniel: Oh no....he can't be thinking of...

Johnny puts some deadly torque on Jethros arm until Jethro is finally forced to drop to a knee... Johnny starts to step over Jethros arm but JETHRO ESCAPES! Jethro starts nailing Johnny with hard punches with his good arm then puts Johnnys head between his legs, apparently setting up for the Planter but NO! Danny slides into the ring and levels the champ with a chair shot. Johnny yanks Jethro to a kneeling position and wrenches his arm once more, he steps over the arm so the arm is between his legs, then kicks his foot back, knocking Jethro down but keeping a hold of the arm, he falls as Jethro does to lock Jethro in the PERFECT ARMBAR!!!

Johnny is pulling and twisting on Jethros injured arm like a madman.

Jon McDaniel: Johnny and that bastard Demon are going to destroy Jethros arm! Hunter! Did you have something to do with this!?!?

Hunter just continues to watch, an emotionless gaze on his face as Danny slides into the ring with a steel chair.

Johnny, after a good minute, finally releases his hold on Jethros arm. Jethro attempts to stand but Johnny quickly boots him hard right in the face. The audience groans as Johnny raises his arm triumphantly. Meanwhile Danny is setting up the chair on Jethros arm.

Brian Rentfro: Man, its been a while since I saw anything like this, Johnnys trying to make good on his promise.

Johnny swiftly brings his right foot down on top of the chair, seemingly crushing Jethros arm! Danny apllauds his young pupil before setting up for the final blow. He folds Jethros arm in the chair itself as Johnny starts climbing the turbuckle.

Jon McDaniel: Oh no....this can't be good...

Brian Rentfro: Yeah, but it could be great!

Johnny looks down at Jethro, sizing the situation up, a bit of hesitation on his face before he finally jumps and does a somersault, landing on the chair with a legdrop!!!

Brain Brian Rentfro: Word has it Johnny calls that one tha Flying Guillotine, simply beautiful!

Jon McDaniels: Whatever he calls it, it's just wrong! Someone needs to get this punk the hell out of the ring!

For the first time to anyones knowledge, Jethro screams in pain, and Johnny leans down so he can hear every bit of it, a playful, sadistic smile on his face. Danny pulls Johnny out of the ring just as the EMTS arrive... On his way out, Johnny spraypaints the symbol for anarchy on Jethro's tractor. Johnny has a huge smile on his face as he finally makes it to the back, the audience hailing him with boos all the way.

Hunter Sullivan: Well boys, it's been fun... I'm gonna head on back now...

Hunter makes his way to the back, Jethro has finally made it to his feet, he's clutching at his arm, an intense grimace of pain on his face as he looks at Hunter, who simply shrugs his shoulders before heading to the back. The EMTS bring Jethro to the back, no celebratory music being played...

Riona Langly vs Project X

IC Contendership Match

A soft pinging noise fills the speakers, the lights flickering along with it. As the pinging comes to a stop, the lights in the arena shut off completely,
and orchestral intro to "Planet Hell" by Nightwish begins. The crowd claps along with the music as images of angels and death flash across the screen,
superimposed with flashes of ring action. The lights begin to flicker along with the beat of the drums. And without a warning, the music stops and a massive
explosion of pyro goes off as the metal part of the intro begins, the lights coming back on with a fury. Blue lasers fly about the arena as Marco Hietala
begins singing.

### Denying the lying ###
### A million children fighting ###
### For lives in strife ###
### For hope beyond the horizon ###

The lasers switch to a reddish hue as Tajra begins to sing....

### A dead world ###
### A dark path ###
### Not even crossroads to choose from ###
### All the blood red carpets before me ###
### Behold this fair creation of God ###

As Tajra's pace and the music calm down considerably, a spotlight bursts out from in front of the curtain as a figure slowly makes its way out in front
of it, head tilted down. The figure stops just in front of the light, head tilted down. Her long, black hair flows over her shoulders, the red bangs at
the front hiding her face as she silohettes herself on the light.

### My only wish to leave behind ###
### All the days of the earth ###
### An everyday hell of my kingdom come ###

The woman slowly lifts her head up, hair hanging down over her face and obscuring most of it. Finally, as the second of the song begins, she throws her
arms out to the side in a crucifix pose and flicks her head back, her hair flying back over her shoulders and revealing her face. A huge pop occurs as
a stream of silver sparks fall from the screen above her, the light behind her blacking out. She ignores any sort of minor pain that the sparks would
be causing her as three silver fireworks shoot off from the top of the tron to fly off and hit sets above the ring, causing minor explosions and the lasers
to switch back to blue.

Eric Emerson: Introducing first/next... coming to us from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! She weighed in this morning at 140 pounds, and stands at five foot

### The first rock thrown again ###
### Welcome to hell, little Saint ###
### Mother Gaia in slaughter ###
### Welcome to paradise soldier ###

Riona unstraps the PWA Intercontinental Championship from her waist and raises it high with one arm, pacing across the entrance ramp and showing everyone
what she's got as the lasers turn back to red with Tajra's voice returning.

### My first cry neverending ###
### All life is to fear for life ###
### You fool, you wanderer ###
### You challenged the gods and lost ###

Eric Emerson: Ladies and gentlemen, this is.... RIOOONNNNAAAA LANNGGGLLLLYYYY!!!

Riona lowers her arm and begins to make her way down the ramp as silver sparks suddenly fly up from either side of the entrance ramp to shower down over
her, creating a tunnel of sorts due to the arching shape. Riona's typical neutral gaze not showing much of her thoughts towards the crowd. The arching
shape keeps her from specifically reaching out for high fives, but she doesn't bother to stop the few pats on the back she gets through the tunnel of sparks.
Riona stops at the bottom of the ramp as the sparks finally dissipate, looking up into the ring for a few moments before walking over to and up the stairs.
She quickly climbs up to the top turnbuckle and snaps off a crucifix pose with the Intercontinental Championship in her right hand as silver pyro shoots
up from the other three turnbuckles with a loud pop as soon as the chorus begins.

### Save yourself a penny for the ferryman ###
### Save yourself and let them suffer ###
### In hope ###
### In love ###
### This world ain't ready for The Ark ###

She holds the pose there while the chorus goes on, the lasers finally ending. Finally, Riona lowers her arms and hops down into to her corner, doing some
last minute stretches and getting ready for the match as the lights return to normal.

The lights dim as the dull throb of a heart beat sounds. The sound gets fainter and fainter until it can barely be heard, and then
suddenly explodes into glorious noise as "Hysteria" by Muse hits the sound system. The lighting moves about in time with the music as Project X bursts
out from behind the curtain and wastes no time in getting to the ring with a purposeful walk.

PX stands tall over the form of Riona Langly, but the former PWA Intercontinental Champion is not backing down from the behemoth. PX mockingly asks for a test of strength, but Riona is unable to reach the height that PX is, so the test does not work. Project X merely laughs at Riona, but she delivers a stiff kick to his midsection doubling him over in pain and surprise. Riona sends PX down to the mat with a DDT and she is quickly on the offense here in this match. Riona goes to the left leg of PX and she has picked her body part to start on. But before she can start PX rolls out of the way delivering a boot to Riona's chest sending her backwards into the ropes. Riona rebounds right into an elevated boot from PX and she is sent flying over his body. Riona lands on her feet, her training and agility coming into play, and turns to be leveled by a massive slothesline. Riona's head bounces off of the mat from the impact and PX hits the ropes with a big leg drop across Riona's throat where he stays for the cover.

Jon McDaniel: Riona kicks out quickly there.

Brian Rentfro: There is alot on the line here in this match.

PX pulls Riona up to her feet, but Langly kicks out at PX's left leg and he falls heavily to his knee where Riona sends a spinning heel kick into the side of his face. PX falls to his side and Riona begins to stomp away at his left knee cap, trying to take the big man's legs out from under him. Riona places her feet on the left kneecap grabs the ankle, yanking back with all of her weight. Riona is trying to bend PX's leg in the wrong direction and it is having the desired effect as PX grunts out in pain. The man from Parts Unknown sits up delivering a big right hand into the back of Riona's skull and she falls forward into the corner. PX rolls over to his feet gingerly testing out his leg before advancing on his opponent.

Brian Rentfro: Give Riona credit in trying to take out the legs of Project X.

Jon McDaniel: Riona can adapt to any style of wrestling here in PWA; submission, high flying, brawling, you name it and she can do it.

Brian Rentfro: I will not go where that line leads.

PX grabs Riona by the back of her neck lifting her into the air for a reverse chokeslam, butshe scounters with a mule kick to his midsection forcing him into the corner she just vacated. Riona lands on her hands and knees but is up quickly charging at PX with a running knee lift into his chin that nearly rocks him over the top rope. Riona climbs the turnbuckle placing a right hand into the temple of Project X. She looks out to the crowd who begins to count as she plants right hands into PX's face.

One... Two... Three... Four...

Riona is tossed half-way across the ring by the now enraged PX, he begins to wipe down his coveralls then appears to dust his hands off before walking towards Riona. Langly looks up with anger on her face and charges at PX with a spear, but ducks around him at the last minute grabbing him in a rear waistlock. PX shoves backwards flattening Riona into the corner. PX rolls under the bottom rope to the outside where he grabs a can of Lysol disinfectant and promptly sprays himself down before rolling back into the ring. PX plants a right fist of his own into Riona's mouth, then her temple, and her head is rocking back with each blow. From a coverall pocket, he puts on a workman's glove then lifts Riona in a bodyslam position, sending her to the mat with powerful force.

Jon McDaniel: Is all of this protection really necessary?

Brian Rentfro: Do you know all that she has? She doesn't even know all of the stuff she has.

Jon McDaniel: Come on isn't that a little old?

Brian Rentfro: Some of them may be, but she has some that doctors haven't even discovered yet. Project X is just protecting himself.

Riona is struggling back up to her hands and knees, but PX sends her crashing back down on her back with a big kick. Riona is clutching at her ribs in pain from the blow when PX bends down to pick her up. Riona with a punch to his face staggers PX fr a moment, but it allows Riona to get up to her feet in a crouched position. PX comes back over and Riona springs at his left leg with a shoulder tackle and PX goes down holding at his leg and grunting from the pain. Riona is quickly back up snapping in a figure four leglock onto Project X who is no where near the ropes.

Brian Rentfro: Project X is going to have that foot disinfected after this match.

Jon McDaniel: Will you stop it?

Riona sits up, slamming her own back down to the canvas with force causing even more pain to the leg of Project X. PX sits up, but Riona is avoiding getting too near his long reach, he lays down.

One... Two... Thr-- PX sits back up avoiding the pinning predicament. He reaches out, but Riona is avoiding him easily. PX rolls over and Riona is powerless to fight the strength of Project X, but determined to outsmart him. PX rolls the figure four over and now Riona is the one in pain. No wait! Riona kept the momentum going by rolling PX on over to where he is lying on his back in the figure four leglock. But the move is going to cost Riona as PX reaches out clutching at the bottom rope and the hold is broken. Riona releases the submission quicklyyanking on the left leg of PX, trying to pull him back into the center of the ring and cuse more damage. PX kicks her in the chest sending her backwards releasing the leg upon impact. Riona flips over charging back at Project X who pulls down the top rope sending Riona over the top to the outside where she lands on her head. Riona lays there, her breath coming in gasps as her face lays on the ringside mat.

Jon McDaniel: The action is right in front of us now, Brian.

Brian Rentfro: As if I couldn't tell that for myself.

The referee starts the count as Project X rolls out of the ring barely standing on his injured leg now. He pulls Riona up by the hair on her head slamming her face first into the announce table before whipping her back first into the ring apron. Riona holds at her back as PX slams a fist into her midsection. Brian Rentfro is seen spraying Lysol on the announce table.

Jon McDaniel: What are you doing?

Brian Rentfro: Disinfecting the working area Jon.

PX holds out his hand for the can of Lysol before spraying Rina's body down with the substance and then driving the can into the side of her head with force enough to bend the can. PX delivers another shot with the can as the count reaches seven. He rolls Riona into the ring which stops the count and he follows her inside after spraying the area she was just at with the Lysol. PX sands up tall in the ring with his left leg bent as to keep weight off of it until he absolutely has to use it. Riona has a red knot on the side of her head and a look of anger and determination in her eyes as PX stalks towards her. PX with a boot into that determined face sends her lying fully on her back and he climbs to the top turnbuckle. Project dives, but Riona moves out of the way just in time and PX lands on his already injured left leg in obvious pain. He immediately tries to get up but Riona is there having just gotten back up to her own feet and Project X gets up to his own feet as Riona is catching her breath.

Jon McDaniel:

Brian Rentfro:

Riona charges at Project X who somehow lifts her up into the air going for a massive Chokeslam, but Riona twists, lands behind Project X and rolls him up into a small package, which is a rather ironic name for PX’s size. Just before the three, PX pushes Riona off and she bounces to the ropes. As she comes back, PX grabs her by the hair and rolls her into a small package. With all her might, Riona breaks before the three, shocking PX. He stands, grabs her by the hair and drags her to her feet and then tosses her over the ropes to the floor.

Jon McDaniel:

Brian Rentfro:

Riona and Project X toss each other around on the outside with such heat that they lose sight of the count and before they know it…

Both stop what they’re doing, looking up into the ring with shock.

Eric Emerson: Ladies and Gentlemen, the referee has counted both competitors out of the ring, and has declared this match, a DRAW!

Jon McDaniel: Not the way Riona wanted this to go!

Brian Rentfro: She just lost her shot at the IC championship!

Jon McDaniel: Did she? How does it work!? I mean, Project X had the shot, already, but this match was to ensure that or push Riona.. how does that affect things!?

Suddenly, ‘Voices’ begins and Chamelion steps out onto the ramp.

Chamelion: Well.. seems I need to fix a few broken issues here tonight. Riona, Project X… since there was no clear cut winner; both of you are going to High Stakes to challenge Shadow Starr for the PWA IC Championship. That settles that.

Chamelion: Now, earlier tonight, there was some confusion in the Ian, Kumquat Kid match… so I figure why not make that a triple threat as well!? So, Ian and KK will both challenge me for the PWA Grizzly Beer Championship.. I mean, I am after all, a fighting champion, am I not!? Ok, folks, carry on!

Chamelion heads backstage and Riona and PX just glare at each other as we cut to commercial.
