Without Incident

The scene cuts backstage to show Jethro with his hand tied up in Scottie Snow's shirt, holding him up against a wall. Snow, for his part, looks scared but is shaking his head.

Jethro: "Where is that son of a bitch at?"

Snow is still shaking his head.

Jethro(in his face): "He beat the fuck out of you Scottie, stop protecting him and tell me where he is at!"

Snow passes out, for some reason, or maybe he's faking it. Jethro slaps his face, bringing him back around; but Snow only passes out again.

Jethro: "Pathetic!"

He drops Snow, then walks on down the hall where some kind of technician is coming out of a door.

Jethro: "Do you know The Phoenix, Rob Robinson?"

The tech slowly nods his head.

Jethro: "Find him and tell him that I'm looking for him."

Technician: "He's not here tonight, at least he's not on the list to be here."

Jethro makes a disgusted sound.

Jethro: "Is Andy here?"

The tech looks down at his clipboard then nods at Jethro.

Jethro: "Where is his office?"

Jethro is pissed, but doing a decent job of hiding it.

Technician: "Around this corner to the left, go past three doors, then take a right; he'll be the second door on the right. You can't miss it, it has "Andy Strickland" written on plain gray ducttape on the door."

Jethro nods, smiling to himself as he heads down the hall, following the directions.

Jethro(muttering to himself): "I'm finally going to get ahold of that son of a bitch."

Jethro arrives at the door, kicking it down and not even bothering to give a warning knock. He bursts in to find Andy sitting and staring at his Iphone 5, he looks up and is immediately scared.

Jethro: "Where is Robinson at?!"

Andy shakes his head.

Andy: "How would I know?"

Jethro leans over the desk, slapping the phone with his right hand as he stares Andy in the eyes and growls.

Jethro: "Text him, call him, Skype him, Yahoo him, Facebook him, do whatever you have to do to get ahold of him. I... want... to... talk... to... him..."

Andy gulps noticeablly.

Andy: "Look, you already had your match with him."

Jethro: "I'm not finished, thought I was, but there is still unfinished business; that was for one of the titles... he's got another one coming."

Jethro is grinning saddistically.

Andy: "But... bu... bu... butt... why?"

Jethro still grinning answers.

Jethro: "We've got something to discuss, him and me. Like what is he thinking? What he's been saying. The way he's been acting... lots of things."

Andy, still nervous, just nods.

Jethro: "And Andy... if he doesn't come to meet me Sunday night, at Rampage... guess who gets a visit from the pissed off Southerner?"

Andy(whimpering): "M... M... m.... me?"

He gulps again; Jethro just nods. Two hooded men step into the door frame, their hoods covering their faces; one large, the other smallish. Jethro turns to face them, they stand there as though Jethro is going to have to fight them to get out of the office.

Jethro: "Move... now."

They don't move, but the tri-tone from the Apple device sounds in the hostile quiet of the office. Andy reads the text and speaks.

Andy: "He who must not be named said for you two to let Jethro pass without an incident."

Jethro smirks as the two step aside, obviously glowering at him as their heads turn to follow him; Jethro leaves.

Jon McDaniel: What is that about?

Brian Rentfro: Jethro's running away again, the big scaredy cat.

Mr Hardcore vs Justin Case

Singles Match

Mr Hardcore brought his working boots tonight as he looks mighty impressive against the iconic something or other. Hardcore takes charge of the match early on, somehow powering Case into the ropes and gorilla pressing him way up in the air and dropping the talented one on his face. How does that guy have such stamina when he lives in a sub-sub basement and eats nothing but leftover pizza crusts?

Justin does make a good comeback, kicking Hardcore in the face when he's bend over to deliver a back body drop. Case does all sorts of technical shit that leaves Hardcore's head spinning. His incredibly poor diet certainly isn't helping matters any.

Either way, somebody must have promised him half a cheeseburger if he wins the match, because Hardcore digs deep and fights back. He goes fucking ape shit, leading Case from turnbuckle to turnbuckle, stopping at each one to climb up and do the "Punch the guy in the face 10 times while the crowd counts" thing. After the fourth time, Case drops to the mat and rolls right out of the ring.

The camera cuts backstage, where we see Dagger, Case's opponent last week on Rampage, watching the match on the monitor intently. After a few seconds, she is joined by Emily Corlen, who looks at Dagger and nods. A few more moments go by and Elena Simonova appears, watching right along with both women. They nod to each other and chatter inaudibly before the camera cuts back to the match.

Hardcore is in a place he's never been: in the good graces of the fans. He savors it, posing and cupping his ear. It is also highly likely he's hallucinating. While he's distracted, one of those crazy robed guys comes out and lays Hardcore out with a reverse Russian legsweep. Why didn't Hardcore just win by DQ? Because the ref is outside the ring making sure Justin Case isn't dead or knocked out or something.

Meanwhile, back at the Hall of Justice, Justin Case gets his second wind. He climbs back into the ring just as Hardcore is getting to his feet. Case hits his finishing move, which I'm going to call the Talent Show, and covers for the win.

Winner: Justin Case

Marina Blue vs Anna Matthews vs Cody Bogard

Triple Threat Match

All three people start off in the ring as you'd expect. The bell rings and Marina and Bogard start fighting, but Anna Matthews goes to sit in the corner and put on a puppet show for the front row. Backstage, Fantastic Andy is making a note to charge those people extra after the match.

There's a lot of action going in the ring, but you'd never know it from the PWA-Tron. The director who is sure to be fired later this evening decided that he'd broadcast the puppet show instead of the match. Backstage, Fantastic Andy is making a note to retroactively increase the price of this PPV.

Finally, we cut back to the action, Bogard hits Marina Blue with a superkick. He goes to run the ropes in preparation for a springboard moonsault. Unknown to him, Anna Matthews is going to pick that moment to grab the ropes and pull herself back into the ring. Bogard goes tumbling out of the ring, landing on and crushing Anna's impromtu puppet stage. Marina gets to her feet just in time for Anna to launch herself at Blue, hitting her with a puppet assisted flying forearm smash. Anna and the puppet make the cover and get the win.

Winner: Anna Matthews

Case Repoened

The camera cuts backstage to Justin Case's locker room, where he and The Wiz are discussing the match he just had with Mr. Hardcore. A knock at the door catches both men off-guard; neither is expecting company. Wiz walks over and opens the door, only to smile.

The Wiz: Ah, Miss Corlen. Please, come in.

Wiz steps out of the way and Emily Corlen walks into Justin's locker room, flanked closely by Dagger. She looks around, smirking.

Emily Corlen: Nice place you got here, JC.

Justin Case: Hey, Em. What's up?

Emily Corlen: Not much. Hey, I wanted to-

Dagger nudges Emily hard in the side. She grunts, glancing back to the young girl.

Emily Corlen: Sorry, WE wanted to ask you a question.

Justin sits down on the nearby bench.

Justin Case: I'm listening.

Emily smiles.

Emily Corlen: Good. My... er, associates and I would like to invite you and The Wiz out to dinner tonight after the show. My treat.

Justin perks up significantly.

Justin Case: You mean, like a da-

Emily Corlen: NOT a date. Consider this more of a... business meeting.

Justin thinks about it for a moment.

Justin Case: Hmm... I'm down. Wiz?

The Wiz: I have nothing else going on tonight. It would be a pleasure to share the company of such beautiful women as yourself.

Emily rolls her eyes a little. Dagger obliviously starts humming to herself as she looks around the room.

Emily Corlen: Right. Okay, meet us back here after the show.

She smiles and turns to exit the locker room, Dagger following close behind. Justin stands up, holding up his right hand.

Justin Case: Hey, Em?

She turns around.

Emily Corlen: Yes?

Justin Case: You said yourself AND your associates... I assume you mean more than just you and Dagger?

Emily smirks.

Emily Corlen: All in good time, Justin. You'll know everything you need to soon enough.

She winks at Justin, and then turns around and exits the locker room, Dagger following close behind. Justin and Wiz look at one another as the door closes, Wiz shrugging and Justin smirking, as the camera cuts back to the ring.

Jethro Hayes vs Matt Stone

London's Burning Cage Match

Brian Rentfro: Well here we go Jon, the return of Matt Stone in the PWA and the return of the London’s Burning match!

Jon McDaniels: Let’s see if the new Jethro Hayes can finally shut the guy up!

"Time for a lil' Southern Justice"

Colt Ford's special remake of this song for Jethro Hayes hits up in the arena's speakers. The youngest Grand Slam Champion in PWA history walks through the black curtain, he looks out to the crowd.

~Down the road where the black top ends, you can find Jethro Hayes with all his friends, we're used to gravel roads, and fishin' with cane poles, wasn't no swimmin' pools, jus swimmin' holes.~

Up on the screen a blacktop road begins to wind away in front of us and we travel along it as though we are in a car. Jethro holds his fisted right hand into the air and the crowd pops for. Jethro begins to walk down the ramp making sure to slap the hands of the fans along his way. Jethro goes from side to side because if they are going to respect him for what he is doing and how he is changed, he will respect them as well.

~We was dirt road poor, and cane switched raised, done came a long way since back in them days, been ‘round the world twice seen all fifty states, ate on thousand dollar china, but love sum paper plates , there aint nuthin wrong with them big city lights, but me, I prefer them slow country nights, where I can see the darkness come and then go~

Along the side of the ropes are buildings erected with the names of the Championships that he has won instead of typical names of businesses. Other such names include "Hall of Fame", "Wrestler of the Quarter", "Face of the Year", and many "Match of the Quarter" buildings are all along side the rode. He reaches the bottom of the ramp.

~Most folks is honest, and they all speak slow, you can leave your door open, aint nuttin' gunna happen, most country folks sing, but I couldn't, so im rappin, I wanna show yall where I come from, and invite yall all down to any country town~

The road winds through a small city, but the image of the very arena in which we are having the PWA show tonight comes into view around a corner. Jethro climbs the steps and is on the apron. He wipes his feet out of respect for the legends in this sport and the respect he has for this sport before stepping through the ropes.

Eric Emerson: From Lenox, Georgia he stands at six feet seven inches, weighing in at three hundred and fifteen pounds... Jethro Hayes!

~Up, dressed, and gone by 5 am, he's country, and he's rappin' we gotta play him, folks been waitin for some one like me, to give ‘em some hot beats and spit that country~

Jethro hits the ropes, bouncing off to get the blood pumping a bit before his match. The blacktop road in front of us enters the arena's door and heads somewhere inside.

~His overalls don't sag, they fit, they kinda tight, got on a John Deere t-shirt, no nothin' but work. Daylight til dark, that's how I was bread, and I'll keep bein' country til the day I'm dead~

Jethro climbs the turnbuckle that faces the majority of the crowd, holding up his fisted right hand before pointing to them. Just in front of the blacktop road is a black curtain, we sit here waiting as though it is the end of our ride.

~See, country folks eat biscuits called cat heads, bar-b-q, baked beans, sweet tea, and white bread, we like to fish and hunt, aint scared of a fight, love the Good Lord and believe in doin' right,~

He drops down, rushing to the opposite side of the ring to climb up and point to that section of the crowd.

~Got 4-wheel drives, some got mud on ‘em, you can keep your rolls roice, cuz baby, we don't want 'em! So now yall all know exactly who I am, and if you aint into that, i don't give a damn!~

Jethro drops down, heading to the third corner and once again climbs up, pointing out to himself before he points to the crowd.

The chorus hits up again...

Jethro climbs the final turnbuckle, and points to this section of the crowd.

~You might have seen me on your t.v, but honey, that don't mean a thing, you see, I'm still that same ‘ol country boy, and that's all I'll ever be, and sometime, those bright lights blind me, and make it hard for me to see, but when I need to be reminded, I take a ride through the country~

Jethro drops down, he heads to center ring where he looks down to gather his thoughts before the match.

~At about 5 o'clock on Friday afternoon, them country boys head down to the local saloon, you welcome to stop in and have a cold bottle, big city boys and stuck up super models, we don't care where ya from, as long as you polite, cuz push come to shove and every one of us will fight~

Even through the roar of the crowd, Jethro nods as he listens to the song and allows it to remind him of things in the past. It reminds him of the times he's been pushed around and how he will not let it happen anymore.

~We mostly easy like Sunday morning, ol' Colt came here to give yall fair warnin', country folks wont be pushed around, and theres some of us livin' in every town, we believe in the Bible, and the U.S.A, work hard for what you want, it's the American way, no body owe you nothin' supposed to earn your keep, but in a hard days work, get a good nights sleep,
I know some of yall think Colt's kinda odd, but I'm loud, proud and country by the grace of God!~

Jethro points to the crowd one last time as the blacktop view on the big screen seemingly flies through the screen, showing that Jethro considers those fans in attendance friends.(it goes back to the very first line in the first verse). Jethro turns to face the entrance ramp, raising his head up so that he can see it clearly.

Eric Emerson: And his opponent…

The crowd starts to jeer as Sound of Madness starts playing throughout the arena

Eric Emerson: Weighing in at two-hundred and twenty pounds…

From the back came out Matt Stone to a mixed reaction. He doesn’t even look to the crowd as he walks straight to the ring, rolling under the bottom rope and getting to a vertical base quickly, eyeing Hayes.


As soon as Stone gets in the ring, the steel cage from the rafters starts to lower. Referee Lance Weston kept the combatants at bay as the age was fully lowered and set up, the two pipes were connected and soon the outside of the cage was ignited to the delight f the crowd. Stone was looking around anxiously at the flames as Jethro never looked anywhere but at his opponent, learning from their past encounters. Getting the okay from the ring crew, Lance called for the bell.

Ding Ding

At the sound of the bell, Stone dashes towards Hayes and and quickly goes for a single leg takedown, however Hayes is too strong and catches Matt coming in with a knee lift. Matt staggers back from the force and Jethro moves in, hammering down on Stone’s head with a clubbing fist. Matt continues to back up, dazed from the blow. They’re getting closer to the side of the cage where the flames are growing higher and higher. Feeling the heat, Stone ducks behind Hayes who just went for another haymaker and tries to deliver a back suplex, but Jethro is able to shift his weight and Stone can’t get the momentum to lift up the big guy. Matt backs off holding his lower back and is quickly dropped to the mat from a charging clothesline.

Jon McDaniels: Stone tried to lift up Hayes and failed, that’s not a good sign

Brian Rentfro: Has that guy gained weight? Even Emily could lift him!

Jon McDaniels: I guess Emily is stronger than Matt is.

Brian Rentfro: Well that’s a little embarrassing

Jethro grabs a hold of Stone’s head and lifts him to his feet, delivering a strong knee lift to double Matt over and he runs at the cage wall with Stone in tow, thrusting him into the cage wall! He crowd cheers as the flames are literally right in Matt’s face, who scurries away as fast as he can, Jethro chuckling to himself as if he got some sort of pleasure out of the pain he was causing his Canadian opponent. Hayes looks to press the advantage with a toe kick, however Stone is able to catch his foot and before Hayes can react, he finds himself on his back from a quick leg sweep. Stone immediately drps an elbow to Hayes’ sternum and Matt goes for a cover.


Hayes is easily able to push Matt off him, Matt sent feet away from the power of Jethro

Brian Rentfro: Brilliant strategy from Matt Stone

Jon McDaniels: Brilliant? He kicked out at one Brian

Brian Rentfro: Yes, but Matt Is forcing Hayes to use all his energy to kick out of the falls, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Matt go for twenty pins this match!

Stone is to his feet as Hayes is getting up, Matt dashing over and grabbing Jethro’s head, flipping over and driving Jethro into the at with a spinning neck breaker. Just like Rentfro predicted, Stone floats over for another cover. This time Jethro kicks out before one. Matt mounts Hayes and starts reigning down fists. Senior referee Lance Weston can’t do anything but watch on as Stone sends fist after fist, Jethro covering up to avoid the brunt of the force.

Jon McDaniels: Interesting technical approach here by Stone

Brian Rentfro: He does what he needs to to win, Jethro said it himself!

Hayes is able to push Matt off, but the camera gets a good shot of Stone’s right hand which has blood on it and as Jethro gets up, we see where the blood came from as Hayes’ nose has been busted up. Jethro wipes his nose and smirks over at Stone, almost impressed that the Canadian drew blood. Jethro doesn’t look the least bit concerned though as he approached Matt, who sees quickly he needs a new strategy. He tries to duck behind Hayes as he approaches, but Jethro catches him this time in a waist lock, lifting Matt up off the mat and down to the ground. Hayes starts to lift his right leg in the air and drives his knee straight down upon Stone’s head! The crowd cheers as another blow from Hayes’ knee strikes Matt’s temple. Zooming in, we can see the pained look on Stone’s face, however we quickly loose sight as Matt spins out from under Jethro’s body holding his right arm. Matt now has Jethro in a hammer lock, wrenching his arm behind his back.

Brian Rentfro: How was that for technical prowess Jon?

Jon McDaniels: Impressive, but there’s one little flaw to it.

Brian Rentfro: Flaw? What are you talking about?

Jon McDaniels: Look where they are Brian!

Brian, along with the crowd watches as Hayes backs Stone up more and more, the flaming cage wall right behind them. Matt starts to feel the heat and peeks back to see where they are and he takes an elbow from Hayes’ free hand, catching him completely off guard. Stone released the hold he has of Hayes’ arm and Jethro turns around, driving his head right into the cranium of the Canadian, Matt falling back against the ropes. Jethro grabs Stone’s head and pulls it close before whipping it backwards against the flaming cage wall! Luckily for Stone his head only makes contact for a millisecond but it’s enough to knock him face first on the mat. The crowd cheers as Jethro gives a small waive to them, a royal waive to show he’s in touch with the English folk. Stone is crawling away from Hayes, but Jethro places his foot on Stone’s leg to stop his momentum. Matt turns around and pleads with Jethro for a time out, but Hayes is having none of it as he walks over and grabs Stone’s head, lifting him to his feet, but Matt is quick here with an eye rake, temporarily blinding the Southern Hero. Stone grabs a hold of Hayes’ neck and gets behind him before dropping straight down, stretching Jethro’s body out over Matt’s back, connecting with the Stone Cutter! With Hayes stunned, Matt goes for the pin!



Hayes is able to kick out.

Brian Rentfro: Despite the beating he’s taking, Matt is able to hit with one of his signature moves. Vintage Matt Stone.

Jon McDaniels: Vintage? Really?

Brian Rentfro: Really! More vintage Stone!

Matt is to his feet first, measuring Hayes who is starting to get up. Stone shouts out and goes for his Kneel Before Zod kick, but Hayes is able to duck under the swinging right leg and push Matt face first into the steel cage wall again! Matt is able to brace for impact with his hands, but quickly burns his hands in the process, waiving them back and forth in pain! Stone turns around and is met with Hayes grappling him, lifting him high into the air and stretching him out over Jethro’s shoulders. Jethro has Stone locked in a torture rack, pulling at Stone’s neck and leg to put maximum pressure on his torso. Submissions aren’t really Hayes’ style though as Jethro soon falls back, delivering a high powered neckbreaker to Stone!

Jon McDaniels: There’s Jethro’s Tobacco Road!

Brian Rentfro: His what?

Stone stats staggering to his feet as Hayes measures him now, Stone turning and being immediately lifted up off the mat, almost right over Jethro, but Hayes grabs a hold of Stone’s legs and walks around the ring, Matt being held upside down before being pulled hard, hitting the canvas with Jethro’s Georgia Slam! Stone is dazed beyond repair at this moment, but Jethro isn’t done yet. He grabs the groggy Canadian before snapping him down with a snap mare, rushing at the ropes, no regard for his own safety as he bounces off feeling the heat outside before going for his big knee.

Brian Rentfro: Here’s Jethro’s combo move, the Southern Unhospitality

Jon McDaniels: Wait, did you say his com-

Brian Rentfro: C-C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!!!!

That’s right folks, somehow Stone was able to spring to life and get altitude, bringing his own knee in the air and driving Hayes straight down with his Combo Breaker. Both men are laying on the mat after the impact of the move, the crowd going nuts for the action.

Brian Rentfro: He hit it! All he has to do is make the cover and he’ll still be undefeated here in London.

Jon McDaniels: But does he have enough energy to make the cover?

Brian Rentfro: Wrong again friendo, here he goes!

Jon McDaniels: I didn’t say he didn’t…

Stone was crawling over and managed to drape his arm across Hayes’ chest as Lance went for the cover



Thr-Kick out!

The crowd erupts as Jethro is able to kick out. Stone’s face looks shocked, more blood is pouring out of Jethro’s face and for some reason, Stone decided to wear white knee pads tonight and so his right knee is bloody to boot. Matt starts to get to his feet, wondering what else he could do. He sees Jethro stirring and decided it’s time to end this. He gets near the corner, but not too near to be set on fire. He starts stomping his foot, setting up his devastating punt kick that has taken out several opponents in the past. With Jethro on his hands and knees, Stone sprints forward, going for the big kick but Hayes pulls his head out of the way like a turtle and Matt runs passed. Stone turns around and swings at Hayes, who ducks down again and grabs Stone’s arms, lifting him high into the air and dropping him straight down with a full nelson atomic drop! Hayes’ Take a Breaker connects and Stone rolls on the mat in pain. Jethro spins him on his back and goes for a cover.



Kick out!

Stone is able to kick out of the move, but Hayes doesn’t look disappointed, instead he’s focused. Jethro picks up the Canadian and doubles him over, giving the sign for his Planter. Jethro lifts Stone up in the air, Matt rakes his eyes though! Stone is dropped and takes a step back, before driving forward and connecting with a super kick! Jethro goes down!

Brian Rentfro: Go Go Gadget Foot!

Jon McDaniels: That’s just dumb

Brian Rentfro: Your opinion, but it might be the end of the match!

Stone falls over on Jethro, hooking his outside leg for the cover



Kick out!

The crowd cheers as Jethro is able to kick out of the super kick. Stone slams his hand to the mat in frustration out of the kick out. Stone gets to his feet, looking back at Hayes before turning his back to him, reaching into his trunks and pulling out a small object. No, not that small object perverts, Stone pulls out a pair of brass knucks. He smirks, the crowd booing as they see what he’s got. Matt fits them on his right hand and turns to deliver the Falcon Pawnch to Hayes, but Jethro is up and charging. Stone goes down hard as Hayes hits the Plow! A devastating spear, the knucks flying off Stone’s hand! Hayes with the cover



Thr-Kick out!

Brian Rentfro: Stone kicked out!

Jon McDaniels: Neither man looking to lose here tonight.

Hayes gets up when his eyes spot something on the mat. He picks up the brass knucks and holds them high in the air, the crowd cheering as they see Jethro squeeze his larger hand into the object. Jethro measures up as Stone is getting to his feet, Matt turns right into the blow! Jethro with a huge haymaker using the brass knuckles! Stone collapses in a heap on the mat and Jethro holds the weapon up again for the crowd to react to, they all cheer. Hayes tosses the object out over the cage, hitting and killing a child in the audience. Not really, but can you imagine? With the item disposed of, Jethro turns Matt over and hooks the outside leg, Weston over to make the count.



Thre-Kick out!

The crowd has to applaud as Stone gets the shoulder up just in time. Jethro’s breathing heavily and he looks down, wondering what he has to do now to put away Stone. Jethro gets to his feet, wiping more blood off his face. He grabs Stone and lifts him up, setting him up once again for the Planter.

Jon McDaniels: Stone fought valiantly for sure, but this should do it here

Jethro lifts Matt up again, however as Stone is going up, he manages to trap Jethro’s left arm in his own and at the peak, Matt brings his other arm around and traps Hayes’ head as well, Matt pulling tightly, he has Hayes in an standing Anaconda Vice!

Brian Rentfro: Oh my god! He’s Set in Stone!

Jon McDaniel: Unbelievable Brian!

Jethro’s knees buckled as he was quickly losing oxygen . Using all of his weight, Stone is able to force Hayes on the ground. Matt is pulling hard on Jethro’s neck, screaming for him to tap out. Lance Weston is right there checking on Jethro, who is doing his best to shake his head no. Matt wrenches more, the crowd cheering, trying to get behind Hayes and continue the match. Stone pulls back more, but his balance is off by just a tad and Hayes feels it, swinging his hips he’s able to pull Stone with him, trapping his shoulders on the mat as the hold is still applied

Jon McDaniels: Brilliant counter there by Jethro Hayes

Brian Rentfro: I gotta give him credit, both men are pulling out all the stops.

With the kick out, Stone was forced to relinquish the hold. Hayes is breathing deeply now, starting to get up, Matt meets him and connects with a forearm smash to the side of his head, followed by a second. Matt backs Hayes up to the ropes and goes to send him off with a Irish whip, but Hayes reverses, sending Stone across the ring. Jethro lifts his right leg for a big boot, but Matt is able to duck and starts picking up speed as Hayes turns around, he’s met with a big spear!

Brian Rentfro: Matt just hit Jethro with the Plow!

Jon McDaniels: What a douche!

Thre-Kick out!

Matt Stone: Son of a Bitch!

The camera picks up Stone cursing as once again Hayes gets the shoulder up. Matt runs his hand through his hair and gets up, turning to Hayes, but Jethro is already up!

Brian Rentfro: Hayes looks mad…

Jon McDaniels: Well Stone just used his move..

Matt connects with a right hand to Hayes, then a second, neither one seem to faze him. Stone winds up for a third, but Hayes blocks the punch and sends one of his own, dropping Stone instantly. Matt gets to his feet again quickly and is dropped just as quickly by another right hand! Matt gets up a little slower and Hayes grabs Stone’s head, running him over and smashing him into the steel cage! Jethro grabs him and does it again! Hayes then runs Stone across the ring and rams him into the opposite cage wall, the crowd erupting! Stone is then rammed over at the side cage wall, his face now donned a crimson mask. The crowd still hot as Hayes makes sure Matt is introduces to all four walls at least twice, Matt Is literally out on his feet at this point. Jethro has him standing in the center of the ring, looking around at the crowd. Matt stumbles to a knee as Jethro controls his head.

Jethro tightens his grip on Stone’s head, but Matt quickly brings his arm up between Hayes’ legs and hits him with a low blow! The crowd reacts to the dastardly tactic but doesn’t have time to hate on Stone too much before he grabs Hayes’ head and drives it straight down ontop of his knee! C-c-c-c-combo Breaker! The crowd moans as Stone gets an arm across Hayes





Brian Rentfro: He did it! Matt Stone did it!

Jon McDaniel: What a fight these two put up though, both men should be proud.

Eric Emerson: Here is your winner….MAAAAATT STOOOONE!!!

The crowd erupts now as Jethro’s theme is played, the cage is immediately extinguished by several stage hands and lifted out of the way, giving Stone enough room to make his exit. Matt can barely walk as he’s helped down the ramp by Weston. Jethro is still groggy in the ring, but he’s able to sit up, looking after Matt. You can tell he’s disappointed, but he’s still getting a standing ovation from the crowd. Stone holds his hand in the air at the top of the ramp one last time before being helped to the back.

The Time For Talk Is Over

We fade backstage, where Bud Adams stands by with Benjamin Dyce before a PWA London’s Burning backdrop. Dyce is already in his ring attire, with Maya holding an orange flag being waved along a short pole by her behind and to the right of Dyce.

Bud Adams: Benjamin, your rise in the ranks of the PWA has been nothing short of spectacular. However this rise began in 2011, not 2012 but was sadly cut short by a vicious attack which left you with two broken knee caps early last year. It took you over a year to recover, but here you are. How are you feeling on the eve of your first ever title match?

Benjamin Dyce: My legs are fine now lad, after surgery and rehab ‘course. It was a long road to recovery, but I’ve made it and I’ve yet to be defeated since my return.

Bud Adams: But two weeks ago on Rampage you were defe-

Benjamin Dyce: One gash helped another gash get one up over me. I at least had the courtesy to wait for Elena’s match to conclude before I made my attack on her. Regardless lad, this is what happens when ya let ruskies into our world.

Bud Adams: Before we go on with Elena, I see Maya is still here in your corner, despite the fact that you turned your back on her during the REBEL Pro Tag Team Championship match at Misgivings.

Maya: I’ll always support my man. That was business, has nothing to do with us personally.

Benjamin Dyce: Ay, Maya’s a fine loyal lass. She understands what happened.

Dyce gives Maya a wink, and she smirks back.

Bud Adams: Finally, what do you think your chances are tonight against Elena Simonova? You know Elena has only ever been defeated by Emily Corlen, the PWA World Champion.

Dyce spits on the ground.

Benjamin Dyce: I am walking out of London’s Burning with the PWA Grizzly Beer title, ay, and all the beer that comes from that company as champion as well. And then that minge of a World Champion will find herself in trouble, because I am not stopping until I’ve turned the PWA into my domain Bud. I’ll take what I want, and after I take Elena Simonova tonight I want the bigger gold, Bud. Emily Corlen, I’m comin’ for you ni*beep*

Dyce grabs his face and turns to Maya a moment, as Maya merely smiles even wider looking back up at Dyce.

Bud Adams: As you all know folks, this match is steeped in blood and it’s sure to come to a head tonight at London’s Burning!

Dyce finally looks back at the camera and smiles as we fade to ringside.

PWA Grizzly Beer Title Match

"Now We Are Free" by Lisa Gerrard begins to play softly over the speakers as Benjamin Dyce steps out.

Eric Emerson: Introducing! He stands in at 6 feet and 6 inches tall, weighing in at 270 pounds...

Benjamin Dyce spreads his arms out as a fog begins to rise around the entrance ramp, following him as he makes his way down. Behind him Maya waves to the fans as she follows closely behind him. His long reach allows him to caress the hands of fans on either side of him as he makes his way, some fans reaching out for his touch while others shriek away. He never once removes his eyes from the ring. Maya never once removes her eyes off of him.

Eric Emerson: He hails from Glasgow, Scottland!

Benjamin Dyce climbs the steel steps and climbs into the ring right over the top rope.

Eric Emerson: Accompanied to the ring by Maya Kalis! He is... BENJAMIN DYCE!

Spectre raises his right fist into the air, Maya wrapping her arms around his waist and chest as he lowers his head as pyros sway upwards behind him in magnificent display.

All the lights go black. Low red strip lights come on to line the ramp down to the ring. War of Change by Thousand Foot Krutch begins blaring over the speakers as the house lights come up. Now Elena can be seen crouched low with her back to the audience; a red and white spotlight on each side of the stage begin rotating side to side. Elena spins to face the audience while she rises, as a cascading curtain of red pyro falls behind her. Elena walks down to the ring and pulls herself up onto the ring apron, leans back on the top rope and back flips into the ring.

Ding Ding

Elena and Benjamin stare at each other, the smaller Elena looking for an opening as they begin to circle around each other; Dyce just waiting for her first attack. Elena dives in, Dyce spins to the side but Elena has anticipated that, spinning to deliver a kick right to his chest, right below his breastbone and taking his breath away. Elena is on the attack now using her speed to deliver several kicks to his chest, ribs, and a springboard kick to his temple that almost sends him down. Elena bouncing off the ropes, but Dyce catches her in mid-leap, Elena smirks then double foot stomps him right in the face sending him down. Elena twists off to the side, landing with both feet on the ropes completing a moonsault onto Dyce.

Brian Rentfro: She is showing some agility, but Dyce is so much bigger.

Jon McDaniel: This isn't your typical David vs Goliath fight here; both are equally matched.

Elena bounces off the ropes, baseball slide and she's out! Dyce sits up, holding at his temple as he rolls up to his feet, but Elena is there with several more kicks to Dyce's bad wheels, causing him to back up against the corner; Elena with a roundhouse kick from the middle rope and... she's caught by the throat! Dyce begins to punch her with a closed right fist in the ribs, concentrating with each and every blow.

Jon McDaniel: What power behind each blow!

Brian Rentfro: Its got the fans chanting with each shot Jon!

Elena winces as the fans continue their blow by blow cheering, Dyce now moving to punching her right in the stomach as Elena realizes she's got to do something to stop this onslaught of Dyce's show of power. Dyce laughs at her attempts to kick him and break him off of his strategy, but the massive punch to her face splits her lip, a second splits her left eyebrow, and the third busts or breaks her nose; all cause blood to flow early in this match.

Brian Rentfro: And she's aflowing like a blood river!

Jon McDaniel: Blood river?

Brian Rentfro: I can't carry this team all of the time, even the best must lapse once in a while.

Dyce laughs in her face before unceremonously tossing her over the top rope and to the outside. Maya comes over, blowing a kiss up to Dyce, who is flexing for the crowd, before waving an orange flag over Elena carrying it like a proud banner. Dyce steps through the ropes, gingerly hopping down to Elena, who is barely struggling up and he helps her, right into the barricade at ringside. Dyce whips her into the ring, back to the barricade, back to the ring, back to the barricade; Elena is in a world of trouble and all because she was caught one time.

Brian Rentfro: Her speed isn't helping her now.

Jon McDaniel: But its time for Benjamin's power to shine and its brighter than the fire from a Londons Burning match!

Brian Rentfro: You have a good one every once in a while, unfortunately that wasn't one of those whiles.

Another whip, Elena springs up to the railing, backflipping onto Dyce's shoulders, hurricanrana sends him down onto the floor. Elena hurriedly up to her feet, rolling into the ring and breaking the count, which had reached up to nine, then back out. Maya tries to distract Elena, but she's hellbent on taking advantage of this. Elena lifts Dyce's head up, punching it repeatedly in return, though the flows aren't nearly as powerful as his were moments earlier. Elena with a vicious kick to his face busts his mouth open, this a bit more severely than Elena's, which is dripping blood onto her chest; the fans are in a frenzy! Elena lifts Dyce up, struggling to get him in a seated position against the railing, before she slides back into the ring. Maya comes over to check on Dyce, but the referee pushes her back as Elena runs up the turnbuckle, diving to the outside with a missile dropkick right to his face!

Jon McDaniel: Holy shit!

Brian Rentfro: Seconded!

The fans are in full on agree mode as they chant "P!W!A!" Elena rolls off the blow, holding at her knee, which took some impact as she landed and gets up to her feet; Benjamin accidentally trips her up and she faceplants the floor. The referee is counting and is getting up towards five as both slowly begin to stir.

Brian Rentfro: This can't end in a count-out!

Jon McDaniel: I think we might have a riot on our hands if it does!

Elena is up, Dyce is up, they come to blows as the count is up to eight. Elena with a punch, Dyce ducks, throws one of his own; Elena ducks under, diving into the ring. Dyce looks up, blood pouring from his mouth and smiles and nods. Dyce comes to the ring then backs up as though something is fixing to happen, Elena spins out of the way and Dyce dives into the squared circle. Elena is on his ass quickly with quick kicks, punches, elbows, and knees, but Dyce powers up from the onslaught; until a thigh kick connects and he rolls back down. Elena off the ropes, springboard backflip onto Dyce, but he manages to put his foot into the ropes to prevent that count. Elena turns as Maya yells something and waves her orange flag vigorously, trying to buy Dyce some time. Elena laughs, turning back to Dyce, whipping him into the near corner, coming in with elbows and kicks to wear this big man down. Elena up to the top turnbuckle, sitting on Dyce as they both face the ring. Elena rolls forward, bringing Dyce with her, into some sort of rollup pin, its got some name but I don't know it.





The referee holds up two fingers as the fans yell "Twooooooo!"

Jon McDaniel: That was close Brian.

Brian Rentfro: You don't have to tell me, I'm sitting right here. I've got a better view than you do.

Jon McDaniel: Yeah, of Maya's perky ass.

Brian Rentfro: So you noticed too?

Jon McDaniel: You can't help it.

Brian Rentfro: I know I know, believe me... I know.

Elena is in full control, Dyce seems to be taking the full level of her speed and agility in this match as he's on the canvas and she's climbing the corner again. Elena looks over to Maya, who is a good distance away, and dives forward delivering a swanton dive, hooking the landing perfectly, but not going for a cover. Elena smirks at Maya, with a bloody grin, before dragging Dyce over a bit closer to mid-ring, and climbing back up to the top.

Jon McDaniel: Shooting Star Press!

Brian Rentfro: Picture perkiness... I mean perfect!

Elena hooks the leg.





Brian Rentfro: He kicks out again!

Jon McDaniel: You don't have to tell me, I am right here.

Brian Rentfro: Don't start that again.

Elena is a bit surprised, but she soldiers on, pulling Benjamin up, whipping him to the ropes; he reverses sending her to the ropes instead. Big boot! MISSES! But Dyce with a quick adjustment delivers a scissor kick that puts Elena on the canvas! Dyce falls down, sitting there and trying to catch his breath, Elena has been a test for him with her extreme quickness and sudden sharp style. The referee is right there, counting his dang count, but Dyce shoves up to his feet; splattered with both his and her blood; the canvas dotted with crimson. Dyce picks her up, whipping her into the corner, following in with a lifted knee to her chest, before lifting her up with a press slam onto his bent knee. However, that move cost him too, getting caught up in the moment as he limps a bit heavier now. Dyce lifts her back up, pounding her face again with big right hands, backing her into the corner. Dyce with several short clotheslines rocks her head with each and every one; ther e is no finesse with this man, he wants to obliterate her(I know, he said so). He lifts her up, following her up, superplex from the top rope! Elena is out on the canvas, but Dyce isn't finished just yet, jumping brainbuster shows his power and meanness and goal orientation as he stays for the cover.




Elena shows her toughness and determination by kicking out!

Brian Rentfro: She kicks out!

Jon McDaniel: Vicious jumping brainbuster!

Dyce is shocked, but doesn't show it for long as he lifts her up for The Momento(Vertebraeker).

Brian Rentfro: Not The Momento?!

Jon McDaniel: But he isn't covering her!

Brian Rentfro: He's gonna kill her! Stop this ref!

Dyce smirks as he climbs up top, going for The Guillotine(top rope leg drop)!

Brian Rentfro: Enough is enough!

Dyce leaps, connecting with The Guillotine! Then he rolls over for the pin.

"Now We Are Free" begins to blast over the speakers as the bloody Benjamin Dyce holds his newly won Grizzly Beer title aloft.

Don't Make Me Say I Told You So

The lights in the arena dim, as a single white firework goes off as if lightning cracked the entrance ramp which sends the fans jolting out of their seats as “Rains of Castamere” by White Noise Lab hit. The Order of Chaos emblem begins burning over the ADCTron once more…

Eric Emerson: It is my pleasure to introduce to you, the President of REBEL Pro Wrestling.

As the lights turn back on, a large Black shire horse steps out with Simon Kalis mounted. Two random PWA staffers are forced to stand at either side of Simon, waving flags. On the right, the REBEL Pro logo over a black banner. On the left, the red Order of Chaos emblem over another black banner. On horseback, Simon trots down the entrance ramp as the fans offer him a mixed reaction.

Jon McDaniel: Simon hasn’t been on PWA airwaves since the entire Kalis family along with the Straders all left the PWA in a bit of controversy.

Brian Rentfro: Sadly, this time like the others wasn’t permanent I guess.

Simon ignores the booing along with the cheering as one in the same as he circles the ring on horseback, before mounting off the horse directly onto the apron. He is certainly not dressed like some knight or king, instead choosing to don a three piece pinstripe suit.

Eric Emerson: He is SIMON KALIS!!!!

Emerson hands the microphone to Simon and makes a quick exit of the ring, as Simon stands in the middle of the ring looking down at the PWA canvas while his theme slowly fades off.

Simon Kalis: Two years and 3 days ago, I stood in this ring a conqueror. A General. Two years and 3 days ago, the world bore witness to the greatest force to ever take hold of the PWA. The menace in black, the crazy, the homicidal- a band of lunatics hell bent on wreaking havoc to the PWA and bringing the entire company to its knees. On that evening, Marvin Wood made his AoWF debut against Ferrari Polo. Remember that guy?

Simon smirks.

Simon Kalis: Sure, no one does. The PWA was full of talent, top to bottom. The ratings were never higher, the seats were filled every night. There was quality from the opening to the finish. Rob Robinson owned REBEL Pro, at the time called Robinson Pro. And of course it still had its shows in high school gyms and the wrestlers were horridly underpaid for the blood they put in that ring. Matt Stone was still a nobody that night, a long ways away from what would be the victory over me that would put his career into the legendary path it went on to become. Before my blood paved the way for Victory Wrestling to take seed, grow, be fruitful and then wither and die. When Teresa Quaranta was still a rookie in AoWF terms. That was then.

Simon pauses a moment so you can all let it sink in.

Simon Kalis: Back then Emily was making threats and challenges at Johnny Maverick, and was still a relative nobody. Back then… Riona Langly was still the Queen.

He tilts his head.

Simon Kalis: Only of a different variety, to be sure.

Simon reaches into his breast pocket and pulls out a cigarette, lighting it and ignoring the continued mixed reaction of the crowd.

Simon Kalis: Those men, those women. Men like Corey Lazarus. Men like Raizzor. Women like Riona Langly. Those who sought to destroy me. Where are they? And where am I?

Simon extends his arms out, waiting for an answer to a rhetorical question.

Simon Kalis: Their careers are in the books. Their relevancy does not exist. Yet two years and 3 days ago, they were in this very ring rejoicing over my blood and my doom. And here we are, today. Where the PWA is in a much different state now. There are no great ratings, the shows are not selling out anymore. The production is awful, let’s be real a moment folks. And the talent? What talent? Cody Bogard? Thomas Manchester Black? Oh, please. What’re you left with? Anna? Elena? …Emily Corlen?!

Simon smiles.

Simon Kalis: I give it up to her, and she has a lot of respect from me for what she’s accomplished.

The crowd now fully boos.

Simon Kalis: No, hear me out. I give her credit for becoming PWA World Champion and holding onto it as long as she has. I’ve put down a million dollars on her victory tonight, and I’m sure she will make me money even now despite having left REBEL Pro. Two years and 3 days ago, she was still a nobody and has come a long way. It took her a long time, a very long time to get this point. That was then, and this? This is now, ladies and gentlemen! The PWA is a fucking wasteland, devoid of talent and competition. This is what that war I began over two years ago was about, because I foresaw this. Do you remember? My warnings? Ohhh, ohhhh!

Simon exhales smoke and slaps his chest.

Simon Kalis: How I fucking warned you and how quickly you idiots forgot. You feared my conquest, feared my control over the PWA. The PWA was so divided, not just in the locker room but between fans. One city would see us cheered and welcomed, the next would see us booed and hated. And in the end, I did what I originally planned to do all along. Give it all up, knowing you’d hate me. I finally left Lucious to defend the PWA World title on his own merit, without my backing and interference to keep it on him and he faltered and lost. And ever since then, the PWA has been on a downward spiral. And so we come full circle.

Simon flicks some ash onto the canvas, the crowd stops booing and hushes.

Simon Kalis: No more Engel. No more Seldon. No more Quaranta. No more Phoenix. No more Raizzor, or Langly, or Lazarus… No more Kalis. And what you have is a new Queen, reigning over a parade of rotted flesh on the corpse of a dead beast which could no longer labor under its own inequity. What you have is the PWA of today. Devoid of worth, tumbling and falling. My warnings to all of you were dismissed. You felt it unnecessary for The Order of Chaos to bring you war. But what we brought was a thriving environment of conflict for you all to feed off.

The crowd almost begins to boo again but Simon raises a hand to shush them.

Simon Kalis: You needn’t worry. I’m not here to declare a new war. I’m not here to make an attack, or try and save you all again from your own stupidity. I’m not here to make the PWA number one again, as I did before. If you want true showmanship and talent, a World Champion worth praising for overcoming true competition… You know where you need only look.

Simon motions one of the PWA staffers forward, the one with the REBEL flag. Simon grabs it and plants it on one of the turnbuckles. He finishes his cigarette and drops it on the canvas, putting it out.

Simon Kalis: I’m just here to tell you… I told you so. This is the PWA you wanted, and this is what you deserve. You look to me, hushed voices whispering of the things I say because you know them to be true. And it’s sad, it truly is folks.

Simon waves to the fans and shakes his head.

Simon Kalis: The day is coming when you’ll look for us, we few who stood leaps and bounds above all others and you will beg us to save you again.

Simon offers one last smirk.

Simon Kalis: The good news is you have Benjamin Dyce. So maybe the future isn’t all bad after all?

He drops the microphone as “Rains of Castamere” hits, and the crowd cheers him but there are still some who boo. Simon steps out onto the apron and remounts his horse once more, trotting back up the entrance ramp and waving to the fans as he disappears once again…

Eric Emerson: Ladies and gentlemen, the following Main Event contest is scheduled for ONE fall and is a Double Title Match for the AoWF Intercontinental and PWA World Championships!

Graphics for both Championships fly across the screen as the crowd cheers loudly.

Eric Emerson: Introducing first... he is the current and reigning AoWF Intercontinental Champion...

The piercing guitar riff of "Electric Worry" by Clutch blasts over the ADC-Tron as the lights start to flicker red.

Eric Emerson: He hails from Tokyo, Japan by way of his hometown, The Queen City - Charlotte , North Carolina...

TMB comes out from behind the curtains wearing baggy Blue jeans and boots with the AoWF Intercontinental Championship hanging over his shoulder. He tops that off by wearing a Grey North Carolina Tar Heels Hoodie with a towel over his head & his forearms and fists taped up. On his fist and forearm tape you see the words “Fallen Saint”. Black hardly looks out from the hoodie as he walks toward the ring. He stops and cracks his knuckles before raising his title in the air.

Eric Emerson: Weighing in tonight at 245 pounds...

"I get satisfaction
Everywhere I go

TMB continues to make his way down the ramp, soaking up the reaction from the crowd that are tossed his way. TMB makes his way up the steel steps and steps over the top rope and doesn't even look at the ref as he makes his way to the middle of the ring. He folds his arms as Carolina Blue and White streamers flood the ring, Japanese style. TMB bows to the fans and goes to the corner as Ring Hands start to clean the streamers from the ring.

Eric Emerson: He is the self-professed Best Wrestler in PWA... he is THOMAS... MANCHESTER... BLACK!!!

Once the ref is finished, TMB takes off his hoodie and tosses it to a nearby ring hand, before slinking down into a sitting position in the corner. Black eyes remain focused as he waits for the match to begin.

Jon McDaniel: Thomas Manchester Black has been PWA World Champion once, this past summer, after cashing in his golden ticket against then-Champion The Phoenix on an edition of Rampage. He held that title for a mere 14 days before losing it in a Triple-Threat Match to Jethro Hayes, who would lose it to Emily Corlen before Black could get a rematch. Now, tonight, nearly five months later, TMB finally gets another shot at immortality.

Brian Rentfro: But to achieve his goal, he has to defeat the third-longest reigning World Champion in PWA's history, Emily Corlen, who has lost only one match in almost eight months' time.

Jon McDaniel: Just remember, Black ended the single-longest reign of all time when he dethroned The Phoenix. If anybody can stop Corlen's momentum, it's Thomas Manchester Black, and it's tonight at London's Burning.

Eric Emerson: And his opponent... she is the current and reigning PWA World Champion, along with one half of the RXW Tag Team Champions...

The lights in the arena cut to black and the ADC-Tron comes to life with footage of Emily Corlen as the opening chords to "Paid My Dues" by Jaded Heart begin playing.

From doing what I wanna do ♬

Green strobe lights fill the arena as the name "EMILY CORLEN" amidst a backdrop of flames flashes on the screen. Emily Corlen herself then walks out from behind the curtain, the PWA World Championship around her waist and her RXW Tag Team Title in her left hand, as the crowd boos loudly.

♬ 'Cause I'm too proud, I'm too strong
Live by the code that you gotta move on
Feeling sad for yourself
Ain't got nobody nowhere ♬

Eric Emerson: She hails from the great city of Chicago, Illinois...

♬ So I
Held my head high
Knew I survive

Emily stops in the center of the stage, looking at all the fans in attendance. She sneers cockily, shaking her head in disgust at the people around her.

♬ I done made it through
Stand on my own two

Emily then begins walking down the ramp, her gaze fixed on the ring. She stands at the foot of the ramp for a moment, staring into nothingness, and then begins to circle the ring, her gaze never leaving the ring, almost as if she's stalking it.

♬ Now I'm still tested everyday
People try to mess with my jaded heart
Got nothing in common
'Cause I handle mine
And I thought I better let you know ♬

Eric Emerson: Weighing in tonight at 140 pounds...

♬ I'm no punk
I can get down
I don't give a damn about who's around
That was just fine 'til now ♬

After making a full circle of the ring, Emily reaches the foot of the ramp where she started. She hops up and down a few times in front of the ring apron before leaping up onto the apron.

♬ So I
Held my head high
Knew I survive
Well I made it
Don't hate it
That's just the way it goes ♬

Eric Emerson: She is the self-professed Queen of Professional Wrestling... she is EMILY… CORLEN!!!

♬ I done made it through
Stand on my own two
I paid my dues, yeah
Tried to hold me down
You can't stop me now
I paid my dues ♬

The crowd boos loudly as Emily steps between the ropes, then hops up and down in the corner a few times as the music fades. She hands off her titles to the timekeeper, her eyes never leaving TMB's.

Brian Rentfro: TMB has a chance at redemption here tonight, but Emily Corlen is fighting for something else entirely. Ever since she won her Championship, accusations have been flying left and right about whether or not she truly deserves to be holding that title. She convincingly defeated Elena Simonova twice in keeping that belt, but until she defends it against a true PWA mainstay, the critics won't let up. She gets that opportunity tonight against a very hungry Thomas Manchester Black.

Jon McDaniel: Certainly, tonight's title match might not be taking place inside the flaming London's Burning cage, but that doesn't make it any less personal for either competitor, and it certainly shouldn't make it any less hard-hitting for the fans. And here we go!


After a very brief exchange of words, the fists begin to fly as Emily and TMB meet in the center of the ring! About a dozen punches are thrown by each competitor before TMB finally gets the upper hand, knocking Emily back into the ropes. TMB goes for an Irish whip, but Emily reverses it. TMB hits the ropes and as he comes back, Emily takes him down with a Lou Thesz Press, hitting TMB with more punches. Emily rolls off of TMB and TMB takes the opportunity to roll out of the ring.

Brian Rentfro: I don’t think TMB expected Emily to come out in this match with so much fire!

Jon McDaniel: TMB is merely regrouping. A veteran strategy from the former World and current AoWF Intercontinental Champion, Brian!

Emily gets to her feet before sliding out of the ring, but TMB sees her. TMB starts running around the ring and Emily chases after him. TMB slides into the ring and Emily follows behind him, rolling inside. TMB goes to drop an elbow on Emily as she does so, but Emily rolls out of his path, leaving TMB to elbow drop the mat. TMB holds his right elbow and Emily, like a shark smelling blood in the water, wastes no time as she grabs Black’s right arm and twists it hard. She pulls him to his feet and drags him across the ring, still in the hold, before throwing him into the corner. Emily punches TMB a few more times before suplexing him out of the corner. She then rebounds off the ropes, dropkicking TMB in the face. Emily stands back up and grins, looking out into the crowd as the fans boo her out of the building.

Brian Rentfro: The London fans are really giving it to Emily here.

Jon McDaniel: No kidding! If she somehow makes it past Black tonight, she may not make it out of the United Kingdom alive!

Brian Rentfro: I think you mean to say 'when' she makes it past Black 'again'.

Jon McDaniel: You say potato, I say I'm putting my money on TMB here tonight.

Brian Rentfro: Good luck with that, Jon.

Back in the ring, Emily lifts TMB to his feet, but TMB thumbs Emily in the eye. TMB chops Emily and takes her to the ropes before beginning to choke her across the top rope. The ref counts to four and TMB has no choice but to break the hold. Emily moves to the corner, coughing, and TMB is right on top of her, following up with a hard chop across Corlen's chest, leaving her ample cleavage bright red. With the PWA World Champion finally right where he wants her, TMB clasps his hand around Emily’s throat in the corner and begins choking her. The ref again counts to four and TMB releases the choke before getting disqualified. TMB then whips Emily to the opposite corner and charges, hitting Emily with a nasty clothesline that turns her inside out. At this point, TMB stands up and grins, posing for the London fans, who just about give him a standing ovation.

Brian Rentfro: Yeah, cheer now, London! By the time this match is done, you're all gonna be sorry for betting on the wrong horse!

Jon McDaniel: I think these fans can sense the same thing I can, Brian... a changing of the guard! The hourglass on Emily's 119 day reign as PWA Champion is about to run dry!

TMB lifts Emily up to her feet and punches her into the ropes. TMB takes a few steps back and charges at Emily with another clothesline, but Emily counters with a back body drop, sending TMB over the ropes and to the floor. Emily goes to the top rope as TMB slowly gets up and looks around for Emily. TMB looks up and Emily dives off the top rope with a cross body, landing on TMB! The fans boo as Emily lifts TMB up on the outside and throws him into the barricade surrounding the ring. Emily grabs him, drags him around the ring and then slams his face hard into the announcer's table!

Brian Rentfro: Yeah, Emily! Kick his ass!

Jon McDaniel: Keep it in the ring, Corlen! Be a little more professional!

Emily glares at Jon, loosening her hold on Black for just a moment to tell him off. That moment is all TMB needs, however, as he punches Emily hard in the gut before grabbing her by the arm and throwing her right into the ring steps! Emily hits them with her shoulder, nearly flying over them, as the crowd cheers loudly. Inside the ring, the ref is at a count of seven and TMB slides into the ring before rolling back out to break the count.

Jon McDaniel: Smart move by Thomas Manchester Black. He can't win the PWA World Championship by countout.

Brian Rentfro: Yeah, but he can't lose his AoWF Intercontinental Title by countout, either. Maybe he should have let the referee keep counting!

Jon McDaniel: And walk away from the title he wants more than anything? Not likely, Brian! Emily's done for!

Outside the ring, Emily is leaning against the ring steps, a little out of it after the hard shot from Black. TMB goes over to her, grabs Emily’s head, and slams the back of her head hard into the ring steps! The crowd "oohs" loudly as the shot echoes throughout the arena! TMB then pulls Emily up and rolls her into the ring. TMB slides in behind her and quickly covers with the lateral press.




Emily kicks out as the referee slaps his hand on the mat for the second time.

Brian Rentfro: The first cover of the match and TMB gets a two count. I hope he doesn't expect to get anything more than that tonight.

Jon McDaniel: Oh, stop it.

TMB pulls Emily to her feet and takes her over to the ropes, and then leans her over the middle rope and chokes her again. The ref, as before, counts to four and TMB breaks his hold. He then runs off the ropes across the ring and jumps on Emily’s upper back, forcing Emily’s throat into the ropes hard. TMB pulls Emily off the ropes and throws her into them. Emily comes back and TMB takes her down with the Get Down or Lay Down (Shining Axe Kick)! TMB covers and hooks the legs.




Emily gets a shoulder up just after the two.

Brian Rentfro: Black is sure spending a lot of time illegally choking Emily tonight.

Jon McDaniel: Why wouldn't he? It's all setting up for the Branches of Sins. And by the way, it's not illegal; he has until four!

TMB, getting a little frustrated, picks Emily up, grabs her by her head and shoves Emily’s face hard into the top turnbuckle. He turns Emily around in the corner and starts kicking her in the midsection, and then whips Emily into the opposite corner. TMB charges, but Emily gets both feet up into TMB’s face! TMB stumbles backwards and Emily hops up to the middle turnbuckle. TMB runs at Emily again, who kicks TMB in the face once more. He stumbles back as Emily steps up to the top rope. The third time is the charm, though, as TMB runs up to the top rope, grabs Emily and belly to belly suplexes her off the top rope! Emily hits the mat hard and lands almost on the other side of the ring!

Brian Rentfro: Where did THAT come from!?

Jon McDaniel: Next Sunday on Rampage, when TMB is celebrating as the new PWA World Champion, that's the clip they're gonna show when they detail the moment Emily made a fatal mistake en route to the end of her title reign!

TMB stands, grinning, and moves over to Emily, who is slowly pulling herself up in the corner. As TMB gets close to Emily, Emily kicks TMB, but TMB doesn’t slow down as he pummels her in the corner. TMB pulls Emily out of the corner, takes her to the ropes and Irish whips her. Emily hits the ropes and TMB puts his head down but as she comes back, Emily slides underneath Black and before he can react, she rolls him up in a school boy!




TMB kicks out just as the referee hits two.

Brian Rentfro: Look at that! Corlen's still got life left in her yet!

Both competitors get to their feet and TMB goes for a punch, but Emily blocks it and comes back with punches of her own, knocking TMB back into the ropes. She Irish whips the AoWF Intercontinental Champion; TMB hits the ropes, comes back and Emily takes him down with a short-arm clothesline. TMB gets back up and stumbles over to the corner. Emily moves over, climbs up to the second rope, and starts punching TMB in the head - and even the very pro-Black crowd can't help but count along with the wrestling tradition.

1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... 9... 10!

Emily jumps down out of the corner and TMB stumbles forward towards Emily before falling flat on his face. Emily picks him up, pulls TMB to the middle of the ring and kicks him in the gut. With TMB bent over, Emily hoists Black into position before dropping him in the center of the ring with the Crimson Plunge (Powerbomb into Facebuster)!

Brian Rentfro: That could be it right there! Cover him!

Jon McDaniel: No way!

Emily hooks the leg and covers TMB!




TMB gets his shoulder up just after the two.

Jon McDaniel: Emily might still have life in her, but dammit, so does TMB! This one is FAR from over!

Back in the ring, Emily stands up and yells at TMB to get to his feet. TMB does so and Emily goes for the Seventh Heaven (Two-handed Chokeslam), but TMB shoves Emily off and into the ropes. Emily bounces back and TMB grabs her and goes for the Tarheel Suplex (Spinning Leghook belly to back suplex), but Emily elbows TMB in the side of the head, breaking free. Emily goes to throw TMB to the corner, but TMB reverses it. Emily hits the corner and TMB runs in, but Emily gets an elbow up in TMB’s face. Emily puts TMB in the corner and lifts him up to the top turnbuckle. Emily climbs up, and now both competitors are standing on the top rope. Emily hooks TMB up for a superplex.

Brian Rentfro: Looks like Emily's about to get revenge for Black's belly to belly earlier!

Jon McDaniel: Or not... look! TMB is fighting back!

Indeed, TMB elbows Emily in the side of the head, and then grabs her and powerbombs her hard into the canvas! The crowd explodes as TMB covers Emily!




At the last second, Emily kicks out of the pin attempt! The crowd boos loudly as Black sits up, shaking his head.

Brian Rentfro: Okay, even I thought we were about to crown a new PWA World Champion!

Jon McDaniel: If you ask me, it's just a matter of time now...!

TMB gets up and waits for Emily to get to her feet. She does and Black hoists Emily up into a fireman’s carry. Emily fights out of it, however, and lands behind TMB. Emily wraps her arms around TMB’s waist and hits her Rolling Thunder (Three Rolling German Suplexes into a bridged pin)!




Between the two and the three count, TMB breaks the bridge, escaping the pin!

Jon McDaniel: I can't deny the fact that that was a brilliantly executed counter from Emily... yet still not enough to keep Manchester Black down.

Brian Rentfro: But this might be!

Back in the ring, Emily is on her feet and calling for TMB as he slowly rises in front of her. Without wasting a second, Emily goes for the Foregone Conclusion (Skull-Crushing Finale) but TMB judo flips Emily over his shoulder! She rolls to her feet and Black goes for a spear, but Emily sidesteps out of the way and TMB's momentum carries him shoulder first into the ring post! He pulls himself out of the corner and stumbles backwards into Emily, who lifts TMB up for the Foregone Conclusion (Skull-Crushing Finale) and drops him with it! She starts to cover, but instead shifts her body weight and within moments, has the Faith Breaker (Argentine Leglock) cinched in!

Brian Rentfro: This has to be it! Corlen got the Faith Breaker! NOBODY escapes the Faith Breaker!

Jon McDaniel: TMB knows what's on the line tonight... there’s no way he’s quitting here! Fight it, Black! Don't give in!

The ref is in position, looking to see if TMB taps out. Black screams in pain as Emily pulls back on the leg of the AoWF Intercontinental Champion. TMB reaches for the ropes as Emily continues to pull with everything she has. TMB, with his powerful arms, slowly pulls himself closer and closer to the ropes and Emily keeps pulling more and more on TMB’s leg. TMB yells in agony as he puts all of his willpower into one dive and just barely grabs the bottom rope! The ref counts to four and Emily has no choice but to release the hold, although she looks at the referee in disbelief as she does so.

Jon McDaniel: Look at that! Thomas Manchester Black has the spirit of a warrior! He did not give up! He escaped Corlen's inescapable submission! Can you smell the title change in the air, Brian?

Brian Rentfro: Oh, I sure can, Jon, but it's not the PWA World Title that's going to change hands! TMB got lucky there, that's all! If Emily would have put the Faith Breaker on in the center of the ring instead of near the corner, this match would be over already!

Back in the ring, an agitated Emily pulls TMB up to his feet and sends him into the ropes and TMB comes back, ducking underneath her clothesline and catching Emily with an inverted headlock backbreaker! Emily staggers to her feet with without missing a beat, TMB leaps up with lightning speed and nails her with the Branches of Sins (Diamond Cutter) to a MASSIVE pop from the London crowd! Emily hits the mat and instinctually is close enough to the apron to roll out of the ring and to the floor. TMB tries to grab before Emily before she falls out of the ring, but fails to do so.

Brian Rentfro: Ooh, tough luck for TMB.

Jon McDaniel: You mean lucky break for Emily!

Brian Rentfro: Oh, sure, when BLACK does it, it's a veteran maneuver. When EMILY does it, she's lucky to be alive.

Jon McDaniel: ..........

TMB rolls out of the ring and wipes the sweat from his brow before lifting up Emily’s limp body. He rolls her into the ring, and then slides in and pulls Emily to the middle of the ring before covering her!



NO! Kickout!

The fans boo loudly as Emily gets her shoulder up just a split second before the three count! TMB argues with the ref for a moment, before finally shaking his head and growling at Emily.

Brian Rentfro: All that time wasted getting Emily back into the ring allowed her just enough time to regroup. As I said, brilliant veteran strategy.

Jon McDaniel: More like putting off the inevitable! Looks like TMB is about to put an end to Emily Corlen!

TMB slowly pulls Emily up to her feet. He grabs Emily by her face and yells at her “YOU'RE FINISHED, BITCH!” Suddenly, from out of nowhere, Emily grabs TMB by his head and drops him with her boyfriend Matt Stone's finishing maneuver, the C-C-C-C-Combo Breaker (Codebreaker)! TMB hits the mat and flips over to his back. Emily, still groggy, covers TMB out of instinct!



Thr... NO! Kickout!

The crowd is the loudest they've been yet as TMB gets his shoulder up at almost the same second the referee's hand hits the mat! He tells the timekeeper it was two; this match continues!

Jon McDaniel: YES!

Brian Rentfro: Come ON! That was THREE, ref!

Emily slowly crawls to her feet and follows that by lifting TMB up. Emily goes to throw TMB to the corner, but TMB reverses it, and then Emily reverses it again, and TMB finally throws Emily behind him, sending her right into the referee!

Emily stands up and turns around, only to be caught by a second Branches of Sins! Emily is laid out in the center of the ring and TMB covers as the crowd counts along!

Brian Rentfro: One! Two! Three! Seventeen! It doesn't matter because the referee's out cold!

Jon McDaniel: Black has this match won! Someone send another referee out here ASAP!

Sitting up and shaking his head, TMB goes to wake the referee up, but suddenly has another idea. Instead of rousing the ref, Black rolls out of the ring and grabs the steel chair that Eric Emerson is sitting on. TMB, chair in hand, slides back into the ring, where Emily is struggling to get to her feet. She uses the ropes for help, but finally reaches her feet, unaware that Black is right behind her, cocked and ready to unload with his chosen weapon. She shakes her head one more time and finally turns around, only to see TMB swinging the steel chair right at her head! At the last possible second, she manages to dodge the chair shot, rolling out of the way out of pure instinct. Black's swing goes right into the top rope and bounces back, cracking himself in the face! The crowd watches in shock as Black drops the chair and stumbles backwards, leaving Emily open to leap into the air and catch him with her original finishing move, the Bitch Switch (Backcracker)!

Jon McDaniel: No! TMB!

Brian Rentfro: THE BITCH SWITCH! Corlen pulling out ALL the stops tonight!

With TMB down on the mat and the referee starting to come to, Emily quickly kicks the chair under the bottom rope and out of the ring before lifting TMB up and placing his head between her legs. Without wasting any time showboating, Emily leaps up and hits Black with the Down in Flames (Pedigree) before rolling him over and hooking both legs! The referee has finally come to and crawls over to Emily before starting the count!





"Paid My Dues" by Jaded Heart begins playing over the sound system as Emily Corlen releases the pin and sits up, looking relieved and ecstatic all in the same moment.

Eric Emerson: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner... STILL PWA World Champion... and the NNNNEEEWWW AoWF Intercontinental Champion... the Self-Professed Queen of Professional Wrestling... EMILY... CORLEN!!!

Emily slowly stands up as the referee hands her both her PWA World Title and her new AoWF Intercontinental Championship. She looks at both with the pride of a mother before walking over to the corner and holding both titles high. She loudly proclaims her greatness to all of London as the crowd boos her relentlessly.

Brian Rentfro: And the ride continues for the Queen of Professional Wrestling! What a match!

Jon McDaniel: A match that could have gone either way.

Brian Rentfro: Nobody is taking anything away from Thomas Manchester Black, Jon. He put up a hell of a fight here tonight at London's Burning, but in the end, the better competitor won tonight, just like she said she would.

Jon McDaniel: Sooner or later, Corlen's bubble is going to pop. She's still got X-Mas at Ground Zero to get through before she makes it to her professed goal of main eventing Genesis XIII. We all saw what happened the last time she stepped into the Dome of Destruction.

Brian Rentfro: That was a different Emily Corlen and you know it. If the Dome does indeed return this year, I dare say Emily has to be the odds-on favorite to win it!

Jon McDaniel: Even if The Phoenix returns to action inside of the Dome, as is currently being rumored?

Brian Rentfro: Hey, Emily just did something Robinson didn't; she beat TMB with the PWA World and AoWF Intercontinental Titles on the line.

Jon McDaniel: Well... the rest of 2012 is certainly going to be interesting, to say the least.

Back in the ring, Emily has exited the ring and is walking up the ramp proudly, her PWA World and AoWF Intercontinental Titles over opposite shoulders. The London crowd is still booing her relentlessly as she reaches the stage, still grinning.

A Sacrifice

The opening riff of Coheed and Cambria's "Welcome Home" fills the arena as the lights go down. The Phoenix steps onto the entrance ramp, followed by the two hooded figures. They take their time walking to the ring while Emily Corlen eyes them warily. The two hooded figures head to opposite sides of the ring while the Phoenix walks up the stairs. The hooded men slide into the ring. As they do, one of their hoods is pulled back. Instead of exposing his face, we see only a black mask.

Corlen backs into a corner, ready to fight as the Phoenix steps between the ropes. The Phoenix doesn't give her a second glance as he points at TMB. The hooded men each grab one of his arms and haul him to his feet.

The Phoenix: It is time for another sacrifice. Jethro Hayes has given all of you everything he has. There's nothing more I can gain from punishing him further. But the fire needs to be fed. And since Thomas Manchester Black is the man that started all of this, it seems appropriate that he's our first victim.

The Phoenix turns his gaze to Corlen for the first time.

The Phoenix: I haven't forgotten you, Corlen. You're free to leave. Just be thankful that I didn't come for you tonight. But don't get too comfortable, because your day will arrive soon enough.

Corlen looks like she's thinking of responding, but she's smart enough to realize that fighting three fresh men right after a match isn't in her best interests. She leaves the ring, making sure to step between the ropes and walk down the ring steps.

The Phoenix: And now, Thomas Manchester Black, you have been chosen to pay for the sins of the AOWF. We accept your sacrifice.

The two hooded men pound TMB with fists and when he hits the mat, they switch to kicks. The Phoenix climbs up to the top turnbuckle and flies down, hitting the Ashes. Satisfied that TMB isn't getting up, the three men leave the ring.

Brian Rentfro: What the hell was that?

Jon McDaniel: I've got no idea, Brian. But now that the Phoenix isn't fixated on Jethro Hayes, I think the PWA may be in trouble.
