World Heavyweight Title: The Phoenix
Intercontinental Title: Johnny Maverick

Marco Dante vs Dallas Hoover

Singles Match

Dallas and Marco start out with a slow paced match, both men looking for power moves, but with their familiarity, neither has too much luck. Dallas decides to spice things up with a running cross body, and that seems to wind Marco Dante more than normal. At that point, Dallas brings the offense with an elbow drop, a scoop slam and a high angle leg drop. All of that power gets him a two count. Marco with an eye rake starts to take advantage with a wear down tactic of a side headlock, but Dallas was able to power out with a side suplex and that was the beginning of the end for Marco Dante. Dallas Hoover set him up as Marco was getting up with Dallas grabbing him by the throat and lifting him up in the air, slamming him flat down on his back with the Belly Bomb! Dallas got to his feet and slowly pulled up Marco Dante, grabbing him from behind and picking him up, using all of his wait to slam him straight down to the mat with his Fat Smash! Dallas pinned Marco and for win.

Winner: The PWA’s Dallas Hoover

Kyle Stevenson vs Cody Bogard

Singles Match

These two men started out quickly by locking up, only to see Kyle get behind Cody with a side headlock, but that didn’t last long as Bogard shoved Kyle off towards the ropes, ducked down to avoid contact on Kyle’s first rebound and Cody flipped him over on his back with a deep arm drag on the second try. The two kept up a quick pace, seeing things like a flying forearm from Cody Bogard off the top rope and a snap ddt that brought about a two count. Stevenson was able to mount his own offense after that, hitting Bogard with a hard brain buster. Stevenson also locked Bogard in a deep arm bar, but Cody was able to make it to the ropes for the break. After that, Kyle tried to stay on the advantage by running to the ropes, hitting Cody with a springboard moon Sault that got him a close two count. Trying to pick up Bogard to keep the pressure on, Cody reversed and got a stiff kick on Kyle’s outside leg before setting him up and connecting with the Rage of the Dragon. Kyle was able to kick out at two. Cody tries to keep the pressure up, but Stevenson counters with an uppercut and doubles Cody over with a kick to the midsection, picking up up and quickly dropping him down on his head with the Icepick. Rather than going for the cover, Stevenson picks up Bogard and hooks him up, lifting him up and dropping him straight on his knee, Bogard being laid out with Ignorance. Kyle goes for the cover now and gets the win.

Winner: Kyle Stevenson

Vic Wagner vs Mark McNasty

Non-Title Match

You know what's funny about this match? McNasty and Wagner are nearly the same weight and height. Both are egotistical assholes that couldn't beat out a fat fucking orangutan in a beauty contest. Speaking of orangutans, why the fuck is Matt "Short People Smell" Stone a double PWA champion? Is it because his roster page picture is 5000x5000? Is it because he wears nice perfume? Or! It could be because he flings his own poop at would-be enemies to intimidate them. Yup. He's a crafty motherfucker.

Speaking of crafty, Wagner has got McNasty locked in some ridiculous submission move (some type of modified anaconda vice) that Jesus Christ himself wouldn't be able to break. Luckily for Mark McNasty, Wagner was illegally choking him and the referee forces Wagner to break the hold or he would disqualify him. Who would have thought illegal chokeholds would get you DQ'd in the PWA since Matthew Engel has won a few titles in his PWA career that way. But I suppose McNasty was choking on his own drool AND Wagner's arm and started to turn blue. We don't want people dying on us.

McNasty managed to go on a killing spree, killing Wagner at the face, stomach, and knees. McNasty wow'ed the crowd by managing a suplerplex from the very top turnbuckle. And by wow'ed, I mean forced them awake from their coma of boredom. I'm just kidding. It's a decent match going on between these two. Wagner was trying to exploit Nasty's weakened ground game while Nasty remained unpredictable and electrifying. Wagner managed to get out of a brainbuster attempt from Mark and murder Mark with a high-angle german suplex which made the crowd nauseated after seeing Mark land on his neck awkwardly. We even had the first pinfall attempt after that, but Mark is a tough bitch and kicked out.

Just when we were praying this match was coming to a finish, Mark McNasty clotheslined Vic Wagner out of the ring! Damn it! So we had to deal with more mindless fighting on the outside of the ring where just about any damn thing can happen. McNasty stayed on the attack and whipped Wagner into the ring post a few times. Wagner fought back on occasion and even managed to break the 10 count trying to get back in the ring, but McNasty managed to dominate Wagner outside of the ring. McNasty made the mistake of going for his signature shooting star press too early and Wagner kicked Mark in the face as he was coming down on him. Wagner went from trying to ground McNasty to brutally striking him in every single way possible.

The crowd could feel it. I was praying for it. McNasty was drenched in sweat because he eats too many greasy, salty foods and Wagner was fatigued after a a night of humping McNasty's mother. This was the final stretch. McNasty reversed an irish whip and Wagner went into the ropes. Wagner bounced back and tried to take Mark's head off with a running lariat, but Mark was ready for it and ducked. Mark nailed Wagner with a boot to the face and Wagner looked like he was OUT! Mark would quickly hook the leg, but Wagner surprised us all and managed to kick out right before the three.

Mark kept going to work on the Grizzly Beer Champion, even taking Vic back up to the top turnbuckle for possibly another superplex. We didn't get to find out because Wagner headbutted Mark more times than we wanted to count (which was twice) and shoved Mark down to the mat. Wagner finished McNasty off with The Vicious Cycle and went for the pin.

Monkey McDee vs Gonzo McQueen

Singles Match

The match starts off rather... unconventionally, as McDee watches McQueen more or less stumble out of the back. Is McQueen high? Maybe drunk? Hell, we don't know. What we do know is that this sumbitch is fuckin nuts, as he greets random fans on his way to the ring. McDee doesn't bother to wait, launching himself up over the top rope and hitting a huge body splash to Gonzo on the outside. After Monkey gets Gonzo to his feet and into the ring, the match turns into a nice little game of catch-the-new-guy, as McQueen is more intent on running around than actually fighting. McDee finally gets a hold of the new kid, pulling him into a suplex. McQueen hits the mat hard, McDee getting up to his feet. McQueen scrambles out of the ring, but McDee grabs him by the foot and drags him back in. The next few minutes are filled with McDee pulling some moves, McQueen trying to escape, and some almost fun cat-and-mouse type shit. Towards the end of the match, McDee attempts a double underhook suplex, which Gonzo manages to flip out of, and for the first time all match, pulls a wrestling-related move with a roll-up. McDee kicks out at two, and it's back to chase-the-McQueen. Finally, (McDee ends it all off with a double underhook backbreaker, followed by a Tailspin for the 3.) (McQueen manages to steal his first win as he locks an unsuspecting Monkey McDee into a triple german, followed up with the Achievement Unlocked for his first win.)

Winner: Gonzo McQueen

Danny Monroe vs Lucy Starr

Singles Match

Monroe and Starr start off the match, putting on a sort of clinic. After some big moves and near falls by each, Starr goes into champ-killer mode, pulling some high risk flying move on Monroe. This gives Starr a bit of an advantage, until he attempts to lift Monroe up for the Hell's Wrath, but Monroe struggles out and kicks Starr in the back of his knee. At this point, Monroe gets the upper hand, managing to pull a few big moves himself. He gets a nearfall when Lucious lands on his knee a little funny after an attempted flying clothesline, and Lucious stumbles around a bit. Danny works the knee, but Lucious finally gets an upper hand when he locks Monroe into an armbar. Monroe spends the rest of the match favoring his arm while Lucious tries to wrestle on one leg, each man putting out a great effort but being unable to complete the really big moves. In the end, (Monroe pulls the win when he hits Lucious with a Californication, wearing him down enough to make a cover for the 3.) (Lucious manages to slip out of the Fading Star, jumping up to nail Danny with the Hades' Flame. He takes the cover and the win.)

Winner: "Lovely" Lucy Starr

Riona Langly vs Jen Corlen

Singles Match

The match began hard and heavy for Corlen, as she came under immediate, unrelenting attack from the former three time PWA World Champion. Riona dominated the opening minutes of the contest, capturing several near falls and showing everybody why she was still one of the best wrestlers in the AoWF.

Of course, like in past weeks, the turning point ended up being the appearance of Jen's sister Emily and the rest of Bound by Blood at ringside. While the girls never got involved physically at any point during the match, their mere presence was enough of a distraction for Riona, allowing Jen to turn the tables halfway through the match and mount something of a comeback.

The match stayed pretty even as Bound by Blood continued to mock and catcall Riona from ringside, causing just enough of a distraction to keep her off her A game. Still, that didn't stop her from catching Jen in her Tourniquet submission finisher. Jen didn't appear to be far off from tapping out, and thinking fast, Katie and Alison James leapt onto the apron, causing the biggest distraction they could. Riona broke the submission and charged at the girls, swinging hard and catching Katie in the jaw.

As the referee pushed Riona back and yelled at the girls causing a ruckus outside the ring, Emily snuck into the ring from the other side, TGW World Championship in hand, and clocked Riona across the skull with it (busting the former Champion wide open) before quickly rolling out. Jen had enough wherewithal to cover Riona and a three count later, the numbers game once again proved the deciding factor in a Bound by Blood contest.

WINNER: Jen Corlen, via pinfall

After the match came to an end, the girls swarmed the ring and began laying into Riona. Emily pushed the others away and pulled Riona to her feet, holding her by the hair before yelling "REPAY THIS, BITCH!" and slapping Riona hard in the jaw. Riona grimaced before replying with a wad of spit right between the eyes of the TGW World Champion. Emily wiped the spit from her eyes, smirking, before kicking Riona hard in the gut and dropping her face first onto her TGW World Title with a vicious Down in Flames (Pedigree).

As the crowd booed loudly, Emily raked Riona's face across her title, covering it in her blood. She stood up, holding the title up and exclaimed "This is how WE baptize the fallen! Fuck your Apostles... Bound by Blood is the future of the AoWF!" before slinging the blood covered title over her shoulder and leaving ringside with her stable. EMTs ran to the ring and check on Riona as the cameras faded to commercial.

TMB vs Matt Stone

PWA Intercontinental Title Match

Jon McDaniel: “Coming up next we have our Intercontinental championship match”

Brian Rentfro: “Featuring the champion, Matt Stone, defending against Thomas Manchester Black”

Eric Emerson: “Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the PWA Intercontinental championship!”

"Four Rusted Horses" by Marilyn Manson starts up over the PA system, as the crowd explodes for the man known as 'The Queen City Hitman'.

"Ride this dying carousel
Four rusted horses strangled by their own rope
Where children love are singing
We'll know that their tired hearts had broke
That their tired hearts had broke"

Eric Emerson: “Now introducing from Tokyo, Japan by the way of his hometown, The Queen City…Charlotte , North Carolina...”

TMB comes out from behind the curtains wearing Black and White MMA shorts and boots. He tops that off by wearing a Grey North Carolina Tar Heels Hoodie with a towel over his head & his forearms and fists taped up. On his fist and forearm tape you see the words “Fallen Saint”. Black hardly looks out from the hoodie as he walks toward the ring. He stops and cracks his knuckles before raising his hands in the air.

Eric Emerson: “He is “The Queen City Hitman”…

TMB continues to make his way down the ramp way, soaking up the reaction from the crowd that are tossed his way. TMB makes his way up the steel steps and steps over the top rope and doesn't even look at the ref as he makes his way to the middle of the ring. He folds his arms as Carolina Blue and White streamers flood the ring, Japanese style. TMB bows to the fans and goes to the corner as Ring Hands start to clean the streamers from the ring.

Eric Emerson: “This is THOMAS MANCHESTER BLACK!”

"Everyone will come, everyone will come
To my funeral to make sure that I stay dead
Everyone will come, everyone will come
To my funeral to make sure that I stay dead, dead"

Once the ref is finished, TMB takes off his hoodie and tosses it to a nearby ring hand, before slinking down into a sitting position in the corner. Black eyes remain focused as he waits for the match to begin.

Eric Emerson: “And his opponent…”

Let Everybody See,
The future here in me
Just watch the wheel go 'round
I'll cheer as you go down!

Eric Emerson: “Weighing in at two-hundred and twenty pounds, he’s from Ottawa, Ontario Canada, being accompanied to the ring by Katrina…”

Matt Stone comes out from the back to a chorus of boos. He struts down the ramp towards the ring, wearing his patterned hoodie with a large Maple Leaf on the back. He threatens to hit a member of the crowd who was holding up a "Canada sucks" sign and just walks on, Katrina following close behind

You're only smoke and mirrors
You're only smoke and mirrors
You're only smoke and mirrors
You're only smoke and mirrors to me!

Eric Emerson: “He is the PWA Undisputed World and Intercontinental champipon…”

Matt gets on the apron and gets inside the ring, heading straight to a corner and mounts the middle turnbuckle raising his hands. "I'm the best there is!" He shouts out over the loud jeers being rained down on him. He shakes his head to their reaction. "You don't deserve to see me!" He shouts out getting down and taking off the hoodie. Stone hands his World title through the ropes to Katrina and the referee the Intercontinental belt. Matt get's ready for his opponent, bouncing off the ropes to loosen up as his music fades away

Brian Rentfro: “I’ve been waiting for this match all night”

Ding Ding

Stone and Thomas start to circle the ring, closing in on each other and locking up, Thomas having the obvious strength advantage backed Matt up against the ropes, the referee coming in to get separation. Thomas takes a step back and lifts his right foot up, catching Stone right under the chin and sending him through the ropes and to the ground below. Katrina runs over to check on Stone.

Jon McDaniel: “Not a good start for the champion”

Brian Rentfro: “The start doesn’t matter, it’s the finish that counts.”

Katrina checks on Stone, but quickly backs away when Thomas comes out of the ring after him. Matt backs up on the ground as he’s approached by Black, however Stone sends a straight kick to his leg which slowls down the big man enough for Matt to get to his feet. Stone attacks by sending another kick at Black’s knee and Matt grabs Thomas’ head, driving in against the apron. Thomas backs up and Matt get’s on the apron, turning around to face his opponent and jumps off, clubbing Thomas across the head with a double Axe Handle. Thomas falls to one knee and Stone quickly shouts out…

Matt Stone: “Kneel before Zod!”

Matt then swings his right foot and connects with the back of TMB’s head, knocking him down on the mat. Matt smirks over at Katrina and rolls back in the ring. The referee’s count was already up to five when Matt got back in the ring. The count was at seven when TMB got back to his feet and at eight TMB rolled back in the ring. Stone went straight on the attack afterwards getting on his knees and hammering down blows on Thomas. The ref starts counting., however Thomas quickly elevates his forehead and connects with Stone’s skull, dazing the champ and causing him to back off.

Brian Rentfro: “What a unique counter there”

Jon McDaniel: “Looks like Stone is dazed from that blow”

TMB gets to his feet as Matt does the same and walks over, lifting Matt up off the mat with his hands around his throat, choking out Matt for a few seconds before slamming him hard down on the mat. Stone grabbed the back of his head as he started to get up, Thomas ran at him and dropped him straight back to the ground with a vicious Axe Kick, or as he calls it, Get down or Lay Down. Thomas went for the first cover of the match

Kick out!

Stone was able to get the shoulder up and Thomas didn’t look too surprised, rather he stayed on the offense. Thomas picked Matt up and rammed him, back first, into the nearby corner. Thomas backed up and drove his shoulder into the midsection of Stone again, and once again, he drove in shoulder first, taking the wind out of the champion. TMB picked Matt up and sat him on the top corner and quickly hit him with an uppercut, dazing Matt. Thomas got up on the second rope and stood Matt up, wrapping his arms around Stone’s waist and lifting him in the air, flipping Matt over his head with a Super Belly to Belly overhead suplex!

Jon McDaniel: “Oh my! What a throw!”

Brian Rentfro: “That might do it!”

Thomas, who landed don his back as well, rolled over and crawled over to Stone for the cover.

Kick out!

Stone got his shoulder up again, this one was closer than the last cover. Thomas looked a little more annoyed this time as he grabbed Stone by the back of the head and picked him up to his feet, scooping him up and slamming him hard down on the mat. Thomas then walked over to the corner and started climbing to the top rope, the crowd cheering for something different.

Brian Rentfro: “Where is he going? This isn’t like him”

Jon McDaniel: “He wants that Intercontinental championship”

Thomas looked down at Stone who was still on the mat and then looked up to the ceiling for a few moments. He then leapt off the top rope looking to drive his elbow right into the heart of the champ, but Stone was able to roll out of the way at the last second and Thomas hit nothing but canvas.

Brian Rentfro: “Well that’s why he doesn’t do that much.”

Jon McDaniel: “Well that kind of killed any momentum he had”

Both Stone and Thomas struggle to get up, Thomas holding his elbow gingerly as it was at the point of contact. Matt came over and slugged Thomas on the jaw with a right hand, however the challenger quickly retaliated with a shot of his own, backing Stone up.

Jon McDaniel: “That’s not a smart idea there, Stone can’t keep up with Thomas blow for blow”

Stone dashed at Thomas and did a baseball slide between his legs. Pushing himself up as Thomas spun around and grabbe dhte back of his head, bringing his body straight back across Stone’s back, hitting him with the Stone Cutter.

Brian Rentfro: “No, but Matt can out quick Thomas, and here’s the cover!”

Kick out!

This time it was Thomas to kick out of the pinning situation. Matt was quicker to his feet and sent a few kicks down at Thomas before picking him up and kicking him in the stomach with a short blow, then went into the front chancery to drop Thomas with a DDT, but Thomas countered by grabbing Stone’s arm, spinning out and pulling Matt hard back to him and bringing his free arm up, driving Stone straight to the mat with a hard lariat.

Jon McDaniel: “Chin check, Stone is down and possibly out. Thomas with the cover”

Kick out!

Matt was able to get the shoulder up at the last moment. Thomas looked annoyed at that. He picked Matt up and once again, drove him back first into the corner. Black hit Stone in the face with a back elbow and then lifted him up in a sitting position on the turnbuckle again. Thomas took a step up ther and Stone caught him under the chin with a knee lift, forcing him back down to his feet. Matt then lifted both legs, holding the top rope with both hands and sending both his feet into Thomas’ face, pushing him back. Stone then stood up and prepared to attack

Brian Rentfro: “What’s Stone setting up here?”

Matt jumps off the turnbuckle, knee first and places it right under Thomas’ knee, grabbing the back of his head and bringing it forward landing on Stone’s back, Black’s head bouncing off Matt’s knee. C-c-c-c-combo Breaker!

Brian Rentfro: “That’s it, he’s out! Here’s Stone with the cover”

Stone sat up and rose his hands in the air, Katrina getting in the ring with both his titles and running over to him, hugging him.

Brian Rentfro: “Another great win for Matt Stone. The record just keeps on growing”

Jon McDaniel: “Maybe more importantly, Matt builds momentum heading towards Ground Zero. Tune in next week to see what happens on the go home show folks!”
