Dallas Hoover vs Antonio Torres

Singles Match

Hoover and Torres face each other in the ring. Hoover offers a handshake, Torres counters with a test of strength. Dallas looks at him like he’s crazy for a moment before shrugging and taking the proffered hand. They quickly join the other hand and the contest is on. Their arms don’t move at first, but it’s obvious from their faces that Torres is in trouble. After a moment, Dallas presses his advantage and forces Antonio back. Torres knees Hoover in the groin and the big man drops to his knees.

The ref castigates Torres for the low blow, which he ignores as he sends a flurry of rights into Dallas Hoover’s face. Dallas gets one foot under him and raises an arm to block the blows and Antonio switches to toe kicks to the thigh. Dallas grabs the foot and Antonio puts a foot upside his head with an Enziguri. Dallas goes down and Torres immediately goes for the cover. 1…2. At the two count, Dallas heaves Torres off of him.

Dallas gets to his feet, but just as he gets vertical, Torres hits a low dropkick to Dallas’s knee and he goes down again. Torres grabs the knee to twist it, but Dallas plants a boot on his chest and kicks him away hard enough that he flies across the ring and through the ropes to the outside. With the extra breathing room, Dallas gets to his feet, favoring the knee that was struck. Elizabeth berates Antonio as he climbs into the ring.

Dallas gives him space to get into the ring and the two begin to circle. Dallas goes for a lockup, but Antonio dodges behind him and hits some clubbing forearms to the back of Dallas’s head. He turns around and Antonio kicks him in his hurt knee. Hoover goes to one knee before struggling to get it back under him. Antonio runs the ropes and goes for another low dropkick, but Dallas sidesteps and then hits a big jumping splash on Antonio.

Dallas gets up and pulls Antonio up with him. He hoists Antonio over his shoulder in the middle of the ring and charges into the turnbuckle. Then he turns around and hits an Inverted Over the Shoulder Piledriver. He thoughtfully looks at Antonio Torres’s prone body before grabbing one leg and moving him a little closer to the corner.

Hoover climbs to the second rope and, without looking back, comes off with a Diving Elbow. Then he hooks the leg for the pin. 1…2… kick out just before three. Dallas looks to the ref for confirmation. When he’s told it was only two he frowns and gets to his feet. He pulls Antonio Torres up with him, then bends him over backwards and straddles his head. The crowd cheers as he slaps his belly with both hands before sitting down and hitting the Flavor Saver. He grabs one of Antonio’s legs and holds it for the pin, still sitting on the smaller man’s head. 1…2…3.

The moment the pin is counted, Hoover gets up and checks on Antonio, ignoring the ref trying to raise his hand. After making sure he’s still breathing, he pulls him to his feet and supports him while trying to wake him up. After a few moments, he comes to. He’s dazed, unsure if the match is still going on. Dallas gives him a hug and says something into his ear. Antonio pushes him away. The ref finally manages to raise Dallas’s hand and Antonio leaves the ring.

Winner: The PWA's Dallas Hoover!

Singles Match

Cody Bogard wins in a big ole squash.

Winner: Cody Bogard

First Time

"Ride Through the Country" picks up in the speakers of the arena, for the first time in a very long time, and Jethro Hayes walks from the back. Jethro is dressed in a green PWA golf shirt, dark khaki pants, and brownish colored loafers; he's carrying a mic in his hand. The crowd is so loud at his appearance that the music can't be heard but for the slightest snippit here and there. Jethro is more than happy to glad hand the fans on his way to the ring and only stops as he makes his way up the steps and through the ropes into the center of the ring.

"How the heck have you been Albuquerque?!"

Jethro paces a bit as the crowd settles down, a smile crosses his face.

"Been a long damn time ain't it?!"

Once again the crowd pops, this time just as long as the previous one.

"Well, as you can tell I've tried to come back here and compete, being unsuccessful in the one match that The Phoenix has allowed me to compete in."

He continues to pace, walking a sort of tight square.

"But there is no shame in losing to Riona Langly, that ain't whats got me ticked off."

A shake of the head.

"Whats gotten me is that The Phoenix thinks that Jethro Hayes doesn't have a place in the PWA any more."

The crowd begins to boo loudly.

"Seems that he thinks I've lost a step."

Booooo!

"I'm injury prone."

boooooooo!

"Not worth it."

Booooooooo!

"Too big."

Booooooo!

"Not talented enough."

Boooooooo.

"And pretty much pathetic or worthless."

Boooooooo.

Jethro pulls out a piece of paper, a smirk growing on his face.

"But it seems that I can either sue the PWA."

Mixed booing and cheering because they want him back, the boos for having to sue.

"For my right to come back and wrestle... but I really didn't want to do that."

The smirk is fully there.

"So... I went to the Board of Directors as a last resort and well..."

He shrugs, folding up his lawsuit and after placing it in his pocket, pulls out another piece of paper.

"They've granted me a match against The Phoenix."

A larger smirk if that is possible.

"They've granted me a match against The Phoenix since he saw fit to put himself in the Dome of Destruction PWA World Title match and well..."

A shrug.

"An unprecidented match at that has been granted. See, The Phoenix wanted to say that he was twice the talent of me... I was twice the size of him, and seeing as he's already in one big match at Xmas at Ground Zero... they've granted him a second big match."

The crowd roars.

"But not for the same pay per view, not even I'd do that to The Phoenix, I want him to have a legitimate shot at winning the belt and I want a legitimate shot at beating him without distractions. See, they've granted me a match against him at Revolutions Per Minute!"

The crowd roars, jumping off their seats and into the air at this announcement.

"But they do see The Phoenix's point about my injuries, my larger than normal size due to my tallness and working on the farm, and have made it that if I win... I get my contract back without any himhawing about it; fully back one hundred percent."

The crowd is loving this.

"And if I lose, The Phoenix gets his way and I can no longer compete in the Pioneer Wrestling Association."

Subdued booing at this thought, as you know, they love Jethro.

"But..."

A very happy voice now from Jethro.

"Its not just any match, since The Phoenix is twice the talent of me, or so he says, and I'm twice the size of him... the Board of Directors have taken into account and have made this the first ever in AOWF history..."

The crowd grows silent.

"A 2 hour Iron Man match!"

They explode again as Jethro watches to see if The Phoenix is going to say anything.

As if on cue, "The Final Countdown" plays and out comes everyone's personal hero, the Phoenix.

The Phoenix: Jethro, let me explain a few things to you. First off, you're a piece of shit. Just wanted to get that out of the way. Second of all, this is my company and how dare you think you can tell me what to do. Third, this so-called "Board of Directors"? They're a hold over from the Sommers days. I like to think of them more as an advisory board now. But I'm a nice guy and I really wouldn't mind the chance to kick your sorry ass back to Pig Shit, Georgia personally. So ok, I'll take this match. But not at RPM. See, here's the thing you didn't count on. I'm an important man, and as such, I tend to have important matches. Matches that are booked well in advance. The AOWF Championship Committee was already requested my services to defend my AOWF Intercontinental title at RPM and I graciously accepted.

The Phoneix: Besides, Jethro, you don't deserve to get the bonus in your paycheck that a match at RPM would grant you. So I'll make this match happen, but it will be at a time and place of my choosing.

Jethro nods and exits to the crowd cheering and "Ride Through the Country" playing in the speakers.

TMB vs Lucious Starr

Singles Match

DING DING DING!!!

Basically Starr wasn't ready for this match at all. TMB went on the attack earlier and never relented, punishing Starr with brutal striking and takedowns to the mat. TMB was really making a point here that perhaps he should have been considered for the World Title match at GZ and not Starr, because TMB essentially had his way with Starr. There were a couple of bright moments for Starr, reversing a suplex from TMB and going airborne over the top rope to the floor crashing down on TMB. When the fight went outside the ring, Starr essentially dominated. He was going to put TMB through the announcer's table, but the referee was getting close to the 10 count. Starr rolled TMB back into the ring and tried for a running lariat, but TMB dodged that at the last second and connected with The Branches of Sins on Starr!

TMB would go for the cover...

We flash backstage to find Scotty "The Panz" Snow walking with a purpose. He has an "Original Panz" bandana wrapped around his head, and dark sunglasses on; a kendo stick in hand.

Snow: I'll show those guys I can help them.

Snow turns a corner and stops. He looks down as his jaw dropps in a look of shock. As he raises his sunglasses up, we zoom out to see Mark McNasty laying in a puddle of blood on the ground. A "#OCCUPY AoWF" shirt lays over McNasty's back.

Snow:...DAMNIT I wanted to do that.

Snow huffs and storms off past some EMT's that run up to the out cold McNasty.

Sisters of Destruction vs Matthew Engel

Handicap Match

Following in wrestling's finest tradition, Matthew Engel cheats to win.Why would he do that? Because he's fighting two people at the same time. Can you do that? Don't lie, you lying liar.

But you know what the Virus can't cheat his way out of? Another after-match beating at the hands of the Sisters of Destruction. Emily Corlen really hates cheaters.

Winner: Matthew Engel

Who the Hell Was That?

We open to a secluded beach off the coast of California. The waves crash to the shore as the wind creates ripples on the water. As we pan around us we can see the image of man sitting in the sand watching the water do its thing. The camera zooms in on him and he smiles knowing that the camera is there. The reflection of the camera crew is shown on the mirrored sunglasses that adorn his face. The wind blows his open dress shirt back along with some sand. He laughs for a second before speaking.

???: I guess I'm the last person you would expect to return to this joint, huh?

He removes his glasses showing us the face of Kyle Stevenson. A man who has become infamous in the PWA (mainly because of a running joke on PWA Radio). He flashes a smile once again before speaking.

Kyle Stevenson: Well you see, it takes a lot of courage to leave the place where you call home. And I did that on a couple of occasions. I went back to a company I started known as the Tiger Wrestling Nation and had some success before originally coming the PWA. But it was here that I had most of my success. I'm a former two time Television Champion and I was a tag team champion with one of the best in the business. That man being Jamie Flynn. Then he turned on me and you know what...I don't blame him. I was in a bad place in my life with the cocaine and the drinking. Shit, I was a walking, talking disaster piece. So I deserved what I got that night. Do I hold any grudges...not anymore. It wasn't personal, it was business. So I leave it at that.

He pauses for a moment to inhale the salt air.

Kyle Stevenson: And that leads to the ultimate question. Where has Kyle Stevenson been at? Well, I was the jackass who attempted to control PWA under a mask. But that didn't work out as well as I planned. Mainly because I'm not used to wrestling in a mask. It gets hot as hell in that thing. But that's beside the point. In reality, I just got tired of putting on a front when I need to show the world who I truly am inside. The real Kyle Stevenson. Not some drugged up, mask wearing shell of my former self. And that's why I'm returing to PWA without the mask. It's time for me to get back to doing what I do best. Wrestle.

Another pause.

Kyle Stevenson: So at Xmas @ Ground Zero, I will be making my return and I will be wrestling. So Rob, put anyone in front of me you want to. I will be more than happy to mow them down. Because I will be regaining the spot I had before I lost it all. And I'm going to do it by any means necessary. That my friends is a promise. With that being said, I have one more question to ask.

One final pause.

Kyle Stevenson: Are you ready for some more Kyle Stevenson?

He turns the camera back towards the ocean view as it fades to black.
