World Heavyweight Title: The Phoenix
Intercontinental Title: Johnny Maverick

Far From Over

Jethro pushes open the door to Phoenix's office, the latter dressed in his wrestling gear, but with a t-shirt covering his chest. Phoenix looks over to the door and promptly rolls his eyes in disgust.

Phoenix: What in the hell do you want? You do know that I've got a match of a bit of importance later.

Jethro slams down a piece of paper onto the desk in front of Phoenix.

Jethro: Notice anything missing?

Phoenix looks down at the paper, reading it quickly before shaking his head.

Phoenix: No, looks like a pretty full card.

Jethro leans forward, Phoenix backwards waving a hand in front of his nose.

Phoenix: Can you please step back, the stench of hog shit is very overwhelming.

Jethro just stares in anger at Phoenix.

Jethro: Funny Robinson, but you agreed that if I didn't pursue the lawsuit, you'd give me a match.

Phoenix smiles behind his mask, throwing both feet up on the desk and leaning back in relaxation.

Phoenix: That I did Jethro and maybe if you had won the match... I would have given you another one... but seeing as you didn't win...

Phoenix points towards the door.

Phoenix: Get out and don't come back.

Phoenix smiles at Jethro's obvious anger.

Phoenix: In words you'll understand... get on outta here now... or do you prefer don't come back now, ya hear?

Jethro leans forward.

Jethro(growling a bit): This... is far from over Robinson...

He leans in farther.

Jethro: Far... from... over...

Dallas Hoover vs Marco Dante

The match started out as several thousand before it have, and that’s with the sound of the bell. However that was where the regularities stopped as Dallas and Marco exchanged right hands to begin the bout. The physicality escalated quickly from rights to forearms to finally a Dallas head butt sent Marco back against the ropes. Hoover would follow up by sending him across the ring and as Marco rebounded, Dallas hit him with a sidewalk slam. Marco was in pain from the get go. Dallas kept the offense going throughout the match as well, hitting Dante with Samoan drop, fall forward slam and he finished it off with a standing splash, but all that hard work from Dallas only got him a two count. Marco wasn’t going out like that, not this time, oh no. Dante was here to play and had that look in his eye when he went in drove Dallas down to the mat with a neck breaker. Marco was ready to keep the offense going, and in no particular order, he hit Dallas with spear, a spine buster, a running neck breaker as well as get him in a rear naked choke. Dallas was looking down and out, but he was able to fight out of the submission hold and get back to his feet, mounting his comeback by reversing an Irish whip by Marco with a Lou Thez Press. Hammering down fists on Marco’s head, Dallas got up and signaled for the end as Dante got to his feet he was elevated in the air and brought down on his back with the Belly Bomb! Dallas made the cover and got the three count,

Winner: PWA’s Dallas Hoover

Thomas Manchester Black vs Miss Madyson

Grizzly Beer Contendership Match

The two competitors eagerly awaited the match to start, the winner of course being crowned the Grizzly Beer champion’s next opponent. With the sound of the bell, TMB was on the attack. Mr. Black wasted no time in attacking Madyson, treating her not like a lady, but like an opponent by picking her up and slamming her down to the mat with a hard power slam. He was vicious in his execution of fists reigning down. Despite Madyson’s defense, she was easily over powered as she tried to fight off a reverse suplex. Some people would speculate that TMB just wanted an excuse to stand so close behind Miss. Madyson, but those arguments would fall flat when you consider just what was at stake in this match-up. Miss Madyson tried to mount some sort of offense to slow down the dominate Mr. Black, and she was making some marginal successes with her powerful legs connecting all over TMB’s body and even a well placed DDT placed her in a position to get a near fall, but after that it was all but over when TMB returned the favor with his right foot, connecting with Madyson’s jaw with his Get down or Lay Down. After getting down, Mr. Black poised himself in a position to take advantage of Miss Madyson’s dazed state for as she tried to get back to her feet Mr. Black grabbed her head and drove her straight down to the mat, the Branches of Sins claiming another victim. After that, it was a quick three count away from a new number one Contender for the GB Title.

Winner: Mr. Black

Clash of Egos

We find ourselves backstage, in Lucious Starr's locker room. The Untamed Fury is taking a comb to his hair, grinning as he seems to get it just right.

Lucious Starr: Yup. I look DAMN good. First London's Burning, first victory over Riona... gotta look good...

A slight sound is heard as a door opens, Lucious shaking his head. He grins as he picks up his vest, throwing it over his shoulders.

Lucious Starr: You realize coming alone is never a smart thing, Aaron.

Simon Kalis steps into the room, not amused. He stands a few feet from Lucy, the PWA star turning. He looks at Simon, an eyebrow raised.

Simon Kalis: If you know who's walking through the door, then you know why I'm here.

Lucious Starr: Heh. What do you know? He hasn't lost a step. His mind, maybe, but certainly not his step.

Simon Kalis: Alright, enough. The warfare is all well and good. But you're holding something that belongs to me, my employees, and REBEL Pro. And don't think for a second that I won't sue your ass for them.

Lucious Starr: Really, Aaron? Sue me? Please. Your ego is WAY too big for that shit. We both know that.

Simon takes a moment, shrugging as he nods. He raises a hand, rotating it in a couple quick circles.

Simon Kalis: Okay, I'm not going to sue. That would be petty, and frankly with everything else you've managed to get away with thus far, I wouldn't be surprised if you walked away scott free on this one.

Lucious Starr: Then your best bet is to go ahead, turn around, and walk right back out that door before my fellow PWA members discover you're walking our turf.

Simon starts to turn, then raises a finger. He turns back to Lucious, getting right into his face.

Simon Kalis: Look, Lucy. I beat your ass once, I'll do it again. Now, we can do this the easy way, or the hard way. Either way you want to do this, I'm getting my company's titles back. So either give them to me, or I'll take them from you.

Lucy and Simon stare each other down, neither about to give. Lucy steps off, grabbing his Volitionary Championship and heading for the door. Simon shoots his arm out, stopping him from leaving.

Simon Kalis: I mean it, Lucy. Give me the titles.

Lucious smirks, dropping his head and bringing it back up.

Lucious Starr: You think you're going to stop me? First off, you couldn't stop US from taking them in the first place. Second, you can't possibly believe I'd just let you waltz in here and take them back, do you? All's fair in love and war, Kalis... and I'm REALLY starting to love this war.

The TGW Volitionary Championship slides off Lucy's shoulder and down to his hand. He takes a step back, a grin. Kalis takes a moment, formulating a plan.

Simon Kalis: You're a coward, Lucy.

Lucious laughs.

Simon Kalis: I mean it, Luce. You come in, grab every REBEL Title in the building... except Lisa's. What, is the World Title too big a target? Are you afraid of REBEL's queen??

Lucy lets his guard down a bit, grinning.

Lucious Starr: You don't get it. Out of all those rag-tag, half-twit, bottom-of-the-barrel misfits of yours, Lisa is the only one who commands ANY respect. Which is why I didn't bother to take her title.

Simon grins, turning.

Simon Kalis: The funny thing is, Lucy... you sound like you ALMOST believe yourself...

Kalis grabs the door handle, starting to pull it open. Lucious shakes his head, calling out.

Lucious Starr: I don't fear Lisa. In fact, given the chance... I guarantee I could beat her.

Kalis stops, the grin growing wider.

Simon Kalis: (under his breath) Hook, line...

Kalis turns around, walking towards Lucious.

Simon Kalis: Opportunity? Tell you what. I'm a businessman. You give me the REBEL Pro titles you stole, I'll make you the number one contender to Lisa Seldon's REBEL Pro World Title. I get my titles back, you get a chance to prove you're everything you claim.

Lucious Starr: Please. I've seen you break the promises you've made in the past, Aaron. I'm not going to fall for a false plea from a guy who's starting to lose his legitimacy.

Simon Kalis: No joke, Lucious. No bogus bid. No one else in REBEL has been able to topple Seldon. So if you honestly believe you can, I'll give you the chance. You and Lisa, REBEL Pro World Championship. All I ask in return... is for my titles back.

Lucious ponders for a moment, Kalis turning. He heads for the door, grabbing the handle.

Simon Kalis: But, like you said, I need to get the hell out of here. So if you're not man enough to accept the challenge, then I guess I'm gon...

Lucious Starr: DEAL.

Kalis turns back, Lucious staring him down. He goes over to his locker, Simon nodding as his plan seems to have worked. Lucy pulls out a duffle bag, closing the locker and handing the bag to Kalis. Simon opens it up, looking it over.

Lucious Starr: I guess if PWA is going to take REBEL's top title legit, we won't need these.

Simon Kalis: Not so fast, Lucy. I said ALL the REBEL Pro titles.

Lucious Starr: And they're all present.

Kalis flaps the bag open, looking skeptically at Lucious.

Simon Kalis: You're missing an Aggression Championship, here.

Lucious shakes his head, pulling a slip of paper out of his pocket.

Lucious Starr: Not anymore. After J-Mav pulled the win, I figured I'd give Victory their due. As long as Johnny's repping PWA II, I figure it'll be in good hands. So that particular title is currently on route to Boston, in a certified package. Here's the slip; soon as Lisa or Johnny signs for the package, I'll know.

Kalis takes the receipt, looking it over. He nods, closing the bag back up.

Simon Kalis: Good to know we could do this civilly. And by the way, have fun against Lisa. Something tells me tonight won't be the last time a woman hands your ass to you.

Lucious Starr: You're right. After Lisa, it'll be the second time in two months I've destroyed a woman in the ring. And the second time, I'll be grabbing a REBEL Title to bring to the PWA.

Kalis and Starr stare each other down, a dark grin on each of their faces. Kalis turns, heading out the door. Lucious throws his Volitionary Title over his shoulder, starting for the same door.

Lucious Starr: Heh. Egomaniacal bastard.

Lucy exits the room, the scene fading back to ringside.

Danny Monroe vs Emily Corlen

Last Person Standing Match

Danny comes out, followed by Emily (flanked by the other four members of Bound by Blood). They surround the ring as the contest begins. It doesn't take long for the girls to get involved, first acting as lumberjills, attacking Monroe when he gets tossed out of the ring, then shoving him back inside, while protecting Emily when the same happens to her. The announcers complain about how Monroe is essentially in a five on one handicap match as, one by one, the women outside the ring make their way inside, eventually turning into an expected group beatdown on Monroe.

The crowd sees a glimmer of hope when Matthew Engel appears, charging the ring and jumping into the fracas. His efforts are in vain, however, as the women manage to remain in control of the action. Eventually, the match spills to the outside of the ring, in front of the announcer's table. With Engel dazed, Emily hits Monroe with the Down in Flames (Pedigree) and the referee starts the count. She quickly stops him, however, as she pulls Monroe to a sitting position and tells Katie and Alison to handcuff Engel to the ring. They do so, one on each arm, cuffing him to the ropes in a manner not unlike a crucifixion.

Emily then grabs a mic, gets in Engel's face (but just out of reach of his legs) and proclaims that "This is all your fault, Matthew, and everyone like you... every victim of our crusade will rest on your conscience, just like Danny Monroe is about to." Emily then pulls the dazed Monroe to his feet, hoists him in the air, and comes crashing down with a hard Catalyst (Glam Slam), cracking Monroe's skull on the corner of the announcer's table in an obvious nod to Engel's assault from Summer Sizzler 2011, and all Virus could do was watch. As he shouted obscenities at the girls and struggled in vain to break free of the handcuffs, the referee had no choice but to count, and made it all the way to ten without Monroe moving a muscle.

WINNER: Emily Corlen, via knockout

After the match ended, Bound by Blood moved their party to the stage, reveling in Emily's victory as EMTs rushed to ringside to both free Matthew Engel (who still has a match to wrestle later tonight) and tend to Danny Monroe, who they end up stretchering out of the arena.

a reign of terror, beware of the beast

Vic Wagner appears at the top of the stage looking pissed off to be here. Behind him is Dolten Adler holding a large flag in-front of him. One half of the flag is a WW1 German flag, and the other half is an Irish Erin Go Bragh flag. Vic points to the flag and salutes; before Moving to the top of the ramp.

Eric Emerson: Introducing Fighting out of San Mateo, California He stands at a height of 5 feet and 11 inches tall, weighing in at 210pounds. He is your reigning PWA Grizzly Beer Champion.

The lights suddenly dim down as the opening intro to Naked Arms plays. Once the intro finishes and goes into the main theme, smoke emerges from near the entrance way.

A figure emerges from the smoke, standing while looking at the fans as he stands in the shadows. The figure is seen as strobe lights go off to reveal Cody Bogard posing at the entrance way. Cody makes his way to the ring.

Eric Emerson: Cody Bogard!

All those dreams, all of my hope, all life come undone
In a world beaten and broken I can see a rising sun
Burning down, scorching the earth, nowhere left to hide
Try to stop all this destruction, find a way, turn the tide
Reveal the bond that's made
Between the light and the shade

Cody makes his way over to the ring, springing up to the ring apron, climbing the turnbuckle and posing with his arms open in a pose.

Shining white and hot is a moon so unforgiving
The break of day will leave a scar
Nothing we believe can protect us from tomorrow
Enjoy today from where we are

I will believe to the end
Even with my face pressed to the fire
I won't be shaken or moved
By the heat getting closer and higher

Sink or swim
Lose or win
Hold on with my naked arms

Cody jumps from the turnbuckle as he thrusts his arm into the air to a hail of cheers.

All those dreams, all of my hope, all life come undone
In a world beaten and broken I can see a rising sun
Burning down, scorching the earth, nowhere left to hide
Try to stop all this destruction, find a way, turn the tide
Reveal the bond that's made
Between the light and the shade

Cody takes his time to prepare for the match as the theme fades out.

Daniel Davis calls for the bell, and the match begins. Cody, and Vic move to the center of the ring. Cody extends his hand to Vic which Vic promptly slaps Cody’s hand away. Vic fallows up with a backhand across the face. The crowd lets out an OH, and Vic is just standing there grinning telling Cody to come on. Cody recovers from the slap, and punches Vic right in the face. Cody follows that up with a kick to the gut that doubles Vic over. Cody then sets Vic up for a suplex, and then snaps off a lighting quick snap suplex then slams Vic back first into the mat. Cody and Vic get to their feet at about the same time. Cody hooks Vic’s leg going for the pin; as Daniel Davis drops down to count the pin 1... Vic kicks out.

Jon McDaniel: Cody Bogard has started off this match on fire.

Brian Rentfro: You know what they say the flame that burns the brightest burns half as long.

Jon McDaniel: So what you think Cody Bogard is going to burn out in this match?

Before Brian can answer Cody pulls Vic take up to his feet, and takes him over with a snapmare. Cody then throws a swift kick to Vic’s back that sound off with a loud crack. Brian Rentfro: Cody trying to end this one quickly I think he is afraid of what happens if Vic gets his hands on him.

Jon McDaniel: Your trying to say our Grizzly Beer champion is afraid of the challenger?

Brian Rentfro: Yeah that is exactly what I am saying.

Cody gets to his feet, and reaches down grabbing Vic’s arm. Cody uses this to pull Vic back up to his feet. Cody places Vic in a front face lock, and before Cody can go for his DDT Vic grabs Cody around the waist, and takes him over head with a northern lights suplex. Vic holds on bridging his back for a pin which Daniel Davis drops down to count 1...2... kick out back Cody on the slightly quicker then normal count. Vic places his hands on Cody’s shoulders, and then jumps up, and drives his knee right into the center of Cody’s back. Cody yells out in pain, and Vic quickly grabs Cody’s arms. Vic yanks back Cody’s arms, and locks him in a surfboard stretch.

Jon McDaniel: Vic Wagner as managed to get this match where he is most comfterable.

Brian Rentfro: Like I was saying Cody didn’t want Vic to get his hands on him because he could end up on the matt.

Jon McDaniel: Yeah but standing up seems to favor Cody Bogard.

Vic keeps pulling back on Cody’s arms driving his knee into the center of his back. Daniel Davis asks Cody if he wishes to give up, but Cody shakes his head no. Vic lets go of Cody’s shoulders and drives his right elbow right into the top of Cody’s shoulder. Vic then grabs hold of Cody’s of left arm, and bends it backwards overhead. Cody is barely able to manages a head shake for no. Vic keeps the hold on wearing down Cody, and just when it seems like Cody is out. Cody some how digs down, and starts to fight up to his feet. Cody manages to get up to his feet, and throws an elbow back into Vic’s gut. Vic manages to hold onto the sleeper, so Cody throws another elbow to Vic’s gut. This time Vic’s grip loosens a bit. Cody throws a third elbow that causes Vic to let go. Cody goes to run towards the ropes, but Vic grabs his hair, and slams Cody head first into the matt.

Brian Rentfro: Good job by Vic to keep this match grounded.

Jon McDaniel: You mean good job cheating by pulling the hair.

Brian Rentfro: I know your upset that Cody isn’t a great mat wrestler like Vic, but you need to stop making things up.

Vic walks over to Cody, and pulls up his right arm. Vic then steps over the arm, and then falls back to the mat locking Cody in an armbar. Daniel Davis asks Cody if he wants to give up. Cody uses his free hand and waves the ref off. Vic in-turn begins to pull back on the arm harder. Cody is trying to fight off the hold but is having no luck. Vic sits up and then quickly slams back down to the mat to get extra torque on the arm. Cody yells in pain at this attack, so Vic goes to do it again. Except this time Cody rolls his body towards Vic as he slams back down. Cody end up in a roll up position on Vic. Daniel Davis drops down to count the pin 1...2. Vic gets knocked off his feet by the jumping knee, and Cody takes advantage running off towards the ropes. Cody reaches the ropes and springboards off hitting a leg drop on Vic. Cody thinks about going for a pin then thinks better of it. Cody climbs up to the top turnbuckle.

Jon McDaniel: Cody Bogard looks like he wants to fly.

Brian Rentfro: This is just stupid he screw up here Vic will eat him alive.

Form this position Vic drives three left elbows into Cody’s shoulder before turning the hold into a hammerlock. Vic then places Cody in a front face lock on top of the hammerlock, and then falls backwards driving Cody head first into the mat with a hammerlock DDT. Even after the DDT Vic keeps pulling back on the arm in the hammerlock.

Brian Rentfro: Vic seems to have found a weak spot on Cody, and is going to town on it.

Jon McDaniel: I hate to admit it but with only one arm Cody Bogard might be in trouble.

Vic holds Cody’s right arm in place, and then gets up to his knees, and then pushes down on the arm so that he can get off the mat. Vic then comes back down, and drives a knee right into Cody’s right shoulder. Voc does this three more times before he is done. The crowd is booing the whole time Vic does this so once he is done he gets up, and faces the crowd. Vic hangs his right arm, and mockingly cries making fun of Cody. Kick out by Vic.

Jon McDaniel: Cody Bogard is still fighting back hard despite he possible injury ro his right arm.

Brian Rentfro: That’s just stupid he should just lay down for his own well being.

Cody yells no in reply which causes Vic to pull back even more on Cody’s arms. Even after the increase in pressure Cody refuses to give up. Vic then lets go of the Submission hold, and get back up to his feet.

Brian Rentfro: Cody should just give up I have a feeling it’s only going to get worse from here.

Vic walks over towards Cody, and hit him in the back of the head with a discus clothesline. Cody is rocked on his feet, and Vic grabs his right arms. Vic lifts up Cody’s right arm, and slams it down onto his shoulder. While still holding onto Cody’s right arm Vic takes a few steps forward. Vic suddenly drops down to a seated position using Cody’s right arm to toss him to the center of the ring.

Jon McDaniel: Cody Bogard is going to have to come up with something soon to end this match, but I have faith he will.

Brian Rentfro: Keep dreaming Vic’s arm breaking tactics are going to carry the day.

Vic walks over to Cody, and bends down to pick him up. However Cody rolls up onto his back, and kicks Vic right in the face. Vic grabs his face as Cody just using his shoulders kips up onto his feet. Daniel Davis calls for the bell

Eric Emerson: Your winner and New Grizzly Beer Champion Vicious Vic Wagner.

Jon McDaniel: Vic Wagner cheated to win, and doesn’t deserve to wear that belt.

Brian Rentfro: What are you complaining about that was a perfectly legal submission hold.

Jon McDaniel: What about Dolten Adler’s interference?

Brian Rentfro: What interference?

He stops at the top of the ramp and cocks an eyebrow, as he rubs his chin. He then smiles and points to the crowd before he walks down the ramp. He slaps hands all the way to the ring where he rolls in. Mark then walks to a corner and jumps onto the turnbuckle before pointing out to the crowd, receiving another huge pop. He goes to the opposite corner and does the same, getting another huge pop. He then walks to the center of the ring, looks to his left, then his right, and then straight up. As he does, he raises his arms straight up, and pyros begin reigning down behind him. As the pyros stop, Mark makes his way to his corner as the music fades.

Suddenly, the arena lights go out. A countdown clock appears on the ADC-Tron reading "34 Days 23 Hours 14 Minutes 8 Seconds". After several seconds, the ADC-Tron shuts off and the arena lights come back up.

Eric Emerson: Introducing now, hailing from Bailey's Bay, Bermuda...

The lights go out inside the arena as "Sympathy for the Devil" performed by Guns N' Roses hits the sound system. Green and silver pyros shoot off as spotlights around the PWAtron move to the rhythm of the song. Matthew Engel steps out from behind the curtains as one of the moving spotlights shines down on him. He is in his usual dark green tuxedo. The magnificent voice of Axl Rose comes to life.

"Please allow me to introduce myself..
I'm a man of wealth and taste.

I've been around for a long, long year..
Stole many a man's soul and faith."

The crowd gets on their feet giving Virus a mixed reaction of cheers and jeers, but it's a very loud reaction. Engel begins to make his way down to the ring.

Eric Emerson: He stands six feet tall and weighs in tonight at 211 pounds...

"Pleased to meet you.. hope you guess my name
But what's puzzling you is the nature of my game."

Engel remains focused on the ring, and reaches the steel steps. He ascends onto the apron, and climbs into the ring between the top and middle ropes.

"I watched with glee..
While your kings and queens..
Fought for ten decades..
For the Gods they made."

Eric Emerson: He is the longest reigning PWA World Champion of all time... MATTHEW "VIRUS" ENGEL!!!

"Just as every cop is a criminal..
and all the sinners.. saints..
as heads is tails, just call me Lucifer..
'cause I'm in need of some restraint.

So if you meet me..
have some courtesy..
have some sympathy..
and some taste.

Use all your well learned politesse
or I'll lay your soul to waste."

Engel has removed his jacket, tie, and dress shirt, revealing his standard white undershirt. He begins to stretch in the ring and prepare himself for the match.

Engel and Nasty go at it blow for blow, McNasty getting the upperhand and putting Engel against the ropes. McNasty with an irish whip into a badass short-arm clothesline. McNasty stomps Engel a few times then goes against the ropes, dropping down on Engel with a knee drop into a barrel roll. McNasty to his feet as Engel gets to his. McNasty lays into Engel with a right then tries for a left, but Engel ducks and sweeps McNasty off his feet. Engel springboards off the top rope and connects with a senton bomb. Engel goes for a quick pin.

Kick out!

Jon McDaniel: Barely a one count!

Brian Rentfro: Engel went for the surprise pin but McNasty wasn't having anything to do with it.

Engel brings McNasty up to his feet and whips him into the turnbuckles. Engel runs and connects with a springboard kick to the back of McNasty's head. McNasty falls to his knees and Engel goes to the top rope. Engel leaps off and slams McNasty face-first to the mat with a shooting star leg drop! Engel goes for another cover.

Kick out!

Jon McDaniel: Nice shooting star leg drop by The Virus but it wasn't enough.

Brian Rentfro: McNasty may be a bit rusty still but he's way tougher than that. It's almost insulting!

McNasty gets to his feet and ducks a clothesline from The Virus, and then levels him with a running forearm smash! Virus bounces back up but only to get knocked down again. Virus back to his feet and McNasty scoops him up and takes off, slamming Virus to the mat with a running power slam. McNasty bounces up to his feet and gives out a battlecry, getting the crowd going. McNasty calmly waits for Virus to get to his feet and goes for the Lights Out!

Virus ducks as McNasty runs by him, Virus lands a jumping side kick to the jaw of McNasty!

Jon McDaniel: And Virus dodges a bullet there and connects with a superb-kick.

Brian Rentfro: A superb-kick?

Jon McDaniel: Doesn't that sound fancier than superkick? I thought you would appreciate that.

Brian Rentfro: Well I don't! Stick to what you know, McDanny!

Virus brings McNasty to his feet, but McNasty counters with an atomic drop and then runs over Virus with a lariat. McNasty goes for the cover.

Virus kicks out just in time but gets brought up to his feet by McNasty. McNasty delivers some precision punching and then whips Virus into the corner turnbuckles. McNasty crushes Virus with a corner splash then quickly delivers a running bulldog from out of the corner. McNasty goes for another pin fall attempt!

Jon McDaniel: Close one again. Both men showing their renown resiliency and why they've been the best PWA World Champions in history.

Brian Rentfro: Virus has the longer title reign but McNasty may have had a tougher roster during his tenure. But now we're close to having somewhat of a legitimate answer as to who's better!

McNasty brings Virus up to his feet, but there's an uproar in the crowd as someone comes running down the rampway.

Jon McDaniel: That's Emily Corlen! Didn't she already have her match?!

Brian Rentfro: And The Virus got involved in it, Jon. Tit for tat seems to be Emily's motto!

Corlen storms the ring and bulldozes The Virus with a steel chair right to the face. McNasty gets the blunt end of the chair right to the head and then Corlen tosses him out of the ring. Corlen goes apeshit on Matthew Engel, hitting him with the chair multiple times in the head and chest.

Ding ding ding !

Eric Emerson: and your winner by disqualification...Matthew Engel!

Jon McDaniel: Unbelievable. Corlen still won her match tonight, had complete control, and just HAD to stick her nose in this match. Just great. What a waste, Brian.

Brian Rentfro: I disagree. Corlen is having a coming out party here in the PWA at the expense of Matthew Engel. Who better for her to target than him? If he wants to play with fire, Jon, he's gonna get burned.

Engel is left a bloody mess in the ring as Corlen vacates the area and heads up the rampway. McNasty is left dumbfounded as all hell, but that's really no surprise.

Panzadise vs The Phoenix

Falls Count Anywhere Match

The lights go out as we hear distorted voice play throughout the arena...

“New-new-new-new-new New Age Panzies”

Just then, red lights shine down on the entrance ramp as the speakers begin to play a synthesized beat and tribal drumming (Linkin Park’s “When They Come For Me”).

Eric Emerson: “Coming to the ring at this time..."

“I am not a pattern to be followed
The pill that I’m on is a tough one to swallow
I’m not a criminal
Not a role model
Not a born leader
I’m a tough act to follow”

Eric Emerson: “From Cleveland, Ohio, standing six feet eight inches tall and weighing in 285 pounds...”

“And I’m not a robot
I’m not a monkey
I will not dance even if the beats funky
Opposite of lazy, far from a punk
Y’all ought to stop talking, start trying to catch up motherfucker”

Eric Emerson: “The leader of the New Age Panzies...

Panzadise steps out onto the entrance ramp as the crowd explodes.

“And all the people say
Aaaaaaaaaaah aaaaaaaah aaaaaaah

Try to catch up motherfucker
Aaaaaaaaaaah aaaaaaaah aaaaaaah”

Dise begins making his way down to the ring. He’s wearing black leather pants with “Dise” written down the right leg and a pair of red six-sixed dice on his left thigh.

He climbs up onto the ring apron and steps over the top rope.

“I am the opposite of whack
Opposite of weak
Opposite of slack
Synonym of heat
Synonym of crack
Closest to a peak
Far from a punk
Y’all ought to stop talking, start trying to catch up motherfucker”

Dise aggressively throws the NAP sign into the air and screams as silver pyro begins pouring down from the rafters into the ring behind him. The crowd explodes in cheers.

“And all the people say
Aaaaaaaaaaah aaaaaaaah aaaaaaah

Try to catch up motherfucker
Aaaaaaaaaaah aaaaaaaah aaaaaaah”

Eric Emerson: And his opponent...

The Doctor Who theme song starts to play as Emerson continues.

Eric Emerson: The current reigning, undisputed AOWF Intercontinental Champion... fighting out of Orlando, Florida... The Phoenix!

The lights dim and pyro explodes as the Phoenix comes out, followed by Mr Hardcore. Hardcore is carrying something covered by a red velvet cloth. As they get to the ring steps, Hardcore hands the Phoenix a microphone while trying not to drop whatever it is he's carrying.

The Phoenix: Dise, buddy, I've been doing a lot of thinking the last couple of days. Now, we've both said a lot of things that I know neither of us meant, right?

Panzadise just stares daggers at his opponent.

The Phoenix: I mean, I even changed my entrance music for tonight to set the mood. What I'm proposing is that we hop in the TARDIS and go back a couple of weeks and forget all this crap even happened.

The Phoenix and Mr Hardcore enter the ring.

The Phoenix: Remember a couple months back when Simon Kalis gave you a solid gold Nintendo controller? That was an obvious and blatant attempt to win your favor. That kind of thing is beneath me.

Robinson whisks the velvet cloth off away from Hardcore to reveal a solid gold Nintendo.

The Phoenix: Now this is more my speed. Don't think of it as a bribe, think of it as a token of friendship.

Mr Hardcore offers the Nintendo to Panzadise, who gives it a once over. After all, it is a solid gold Nintendo. Without warning, the Phoenix tosses the velvet cloth over Dise's head and slams him into the Nintendo. The bell rings and the action is underway.

Jon McDaniel: Leave it to the Phoenix to find a way to cheat in a Falls Count Anywhere match.

Brian Rentfro: What are you talking about, Jon? Rob offered Panzadise a gift! It isn't Rob's fault that Dise got so excited he tripped over his own feet and fell on it.

Jon McDaniel: If it was a gift, why did Mr Hardcore just run off backstage with it?

Brian Rentfro: For safe keeping, obviously.

The two men brawl inside the ring. It would appear that the Phoenix's tactical use of pre-match cheating wasn't as effective as he'd hoped. Maybe the velvet cushioned the blow. Whatever the reason, Dise is fighting hard and the Phoenix wants no part of it. He quickly exits the ring and heads up the ramp, drawing boos from the crowd. Unfortunately for the Phoenix, he seems to have forgotten the stipulation for this match. Doubly unforunately for him, Panzadise didn't. Dise runs up behind him and clobbers him with a lariat to the back of the head. The Phoenix hits the entrance ramp and rolls off it to avoid an elbow drop from the enraged Panzy.

The Phoenix tries to crawl underneath the stage area, but Dise grabs his foot to yank him out. The Phoenix grabs hold of the metal supports beams and it takes Dise a couple of pulls to retrieve his opponent. What Dise is expecting is to stomp some face. What he's not expecting is to get blasted in the face with a fire extinguisher, which is exactly what happens. The Phoenix takes advantage of the situation by hitting Panzadise in the head with the extinguisher. Then, thinking better of it, does it again. He quickly drops to cover.

Jon McDaniel: Not even a two count off that. And with his master plan in ruins, the Phoenix has decided that maybe leaving the arena is the best option available.

Brian Rentfro: He's not running away, Jon. That's called a strategic retreat.

Call it what you will, the Phoenix has decided that if a gold Nintendo and a metal fire extinguisher can't keep Panzadise down, then perhaps he's fighting a zombie. And you better believe the Phoenix has a Zombie Apocalypse plan. Namely, run away. And that's exactly what he does.

The Phoenix heads backstage and runs through the corridors until he comes to a four way junction. He starts to go left, then doubles back and looks around, confused.

Jon McDaniel: I think this retreat is more panic and less strategy. Robinson is lost!

Brian Rentfro: He's not lost, Jon. He's just deciding on the most effective route, that's all. Rob is nothing if not efficient.

The Phoenix has decided on the right hand hallway and heads down like the hounds of hell are at his heels. At least, until he passes a Yoohoo vending machine.

Brian Rentfro: NO! Flee, you fool!

The Phoenix glances back over his shoulder, but there's no sign of Panzadise. So, he reaches into his boot and pulls out a dollar and feeds it into the machine, which spits it back out. He tries to flatten it, but no dice.

Voice: You need to use British money.

The Phoenix: Oh yeah. Jet lag.

The Phoenix takes the offered pound note, puts it in the machine and presses a button. A cold glass bottle of delicious, chocolatey Yoohoo is his reward. But before he can grab it, someone else does.

The Phoenix: HEY!

Panzadise: I paid for it.

And do you think Panzadise enjoys that blissful liquid chocolate treat? Hell, no! He smashes the Phoenix in the face with the bottle, which explodes sending glass and that nectar of the gods all over the hallway!

Brian Rentfro: You'd think he'd have learned his lesson about taking money from strange men in London after the last time.

Jon McDaniel: What are you talking about?

Brian Rentfro: (nervously) Who's talking about anything?

Dise casually covers the Phoenix.

Panzadise pulls the Phoenix up by the mask.

Dise wags his finger in a nagging gesture at the Phoenix, then sets him up for the Panzadise Bomb. But as the Phoenix is flipped upwards, he manages to grab a pipe running overhead. During the momentary confusion, the Phoenix wraps his legs around Dise's neck and pulls off a pretty swank flying neck scissors. The Phoenix tries to run away again, but his feet slip in the big puddle of Yoohoo and he crashes to the ground. Both men scramble to their feet, but Dise slips in the Yoohoo himself and allows the Phoenix to get a head start.

Someone in the sound truck has a sense of humour as Yackety Sax starts to play as we follow Dise chasing the Phoenix through the maze-like hallways of the arena. The camera stays in the hallways as the men go into doors, then out of other doors, always just missing the other. Finally, they come out of doors on opposite sides of the hallway at the same time. The Phoenix yelps and keeps running, with Panzadise continuing his methodical, Project X-like stalking.

Panzadise turns a corner and passes a rack of costumes. As he passes the Phoenix leaps out holding a bearskin (the tall hat, not like a bear skin rug) and jams it down on Dise's head. The Phoenix bulldogs Dise on the hard floor and then proceeds to kick the shit out of him, hooligan style. After an elbow drop for good measure, the Phoenix covers.

The Phoenix kicks Panzadise in the bearskin, but the big man gets up anyway. Phoenix tries to run away yet again, but Dise reaches out and grabs his ankle, tripping him. Both men get to their feet, but Panzadise is faster and he whips the Phoenix down the hall into the catering area. The Phoenix hits the buffet table and flips over it, landing with a thud. Panzadise saunters in and grabs a cheeseburger and takes a quick bite before pulling the Phoenix to his feet. Just then the microwave on the table dings and Scottie Snow opens it up to remove his Hot Pocket. Thinking fast, the Phoenix grabs it from him and slams the molten hot food into Panzadise's face, really smashing it in.

Panzadise's face is a red, steaming mess with little squares of ham and long strings of melted cheese dripping off him. The Phoenix uses Dise's horrible burns to his advantage and spears Dise into a tall stack of Vanilla Coke boxes before stumbling off down the hall again. The Phoenix heads into his office, shuts the door and locks it before he collapses in his desk chair.

Brian Rentfro: Sanctuary!

Moments later, a heavy thud hammers the door. This happens a second time. With the third, the door explodes inwards and Panzadise stands, framed in the doorway.

Panzadise: There's no place left to run, Rob.

That's when Moke Doshky and the Dragon step out from inside a life size TARDIS.

Panzadise: Yeah, I kinda figured this would happen.

Dise puts two fingers in his mouth and whistles and from behind him, Big Poppa Panz and Too Panz step into the office. All six men start to brawl. Dise grabs the Phoenix by the neck, picks him up and throws him against the wall, shattering the giant framed Phoenix portrait that's hanging there. The Phoenix collapses in a heap on the floor and Panzadise makes an awkward pinfall.

Panzadise looks surprised, but pulls the Phoenix to his feet. From behind, the mini-riot bumps into him and Dise trips, dropping the Phoenix. The Phoenix springs up and dropkicks Panzadise. The off-balance big man stumbles over the leather couch, flipping it over on top of him. The Phoenix looks at the situation and rather than flip the couch and try to make a pin, decides that fleeing is a good idea, so flee he does.

Moments later, the couch shoots up into the air and Panzadise wearily gets to his feet. He heads into the hallway and can easily follow the trail of bloody handprints on the otherwise spotless walls. A few seconds traveling takes him to the parking garage. As he steps into the cavernous room, the Phoenix comes up behind him and clips him in the knee with a tire iron.

Brian Rentfro: Now that's what I call strategy.

Dise goes down to one knee, but even so he's still nearly as tall as the Phoenix. The Phoenix swings the tire iron at Dise's head, but Dise catches it, closes his fist around it and clocks Robinson in the face. Robinson falls backwards and Dise pounces on him, hammering him with fists. Once he's sufficiently bloodied the Phoenix, he covers.

Dise gets to his feet, favoring his wounded knee. He leans down and starts to pull the Phoenix up but the Phoenix punches Dise in the side of the knee with everything he's got. Panzadise goes down and the Phoenix collapses on top of him for a pin.

The Phoenix makes one last retreat, this time inside of a double decker bus. Seconds later, he appears in the top level. He climbs through a window and pulls himself to the roof of the bus. Outside, Dise gets up to his feet and steps toward the bus. As he puts weight on the knee, it buckles and he goes down. Phoenix leaps off the bus and hits Panzadise with the Ashes!

Brian Rentfro: That's it! I can't believe Rob pulled it off!

Jon McDaniel: Did you just admit to doubting the Phoenix?

Brian Rentfro: What? Of course not. Don't be stupid, Jon. I always knew he'd get the job done.

Jon McDaniel: But at what cost, Brian?

Back in the arena, both men are still laying on the ground as EMTs swarm in.

Marvin Wood (C) vs Matt Stone

London's Burning Match for the World Title

Jon McDaniel: “Here it is, the match that we’ve all been waiting for”

Brian Rentfro: “They’re setting up the structure now, this is going to be a brutal fight”

Jon McDaniel: “Quite frankly, I’m looking forward to the agony the winner of this match is going to be going through”

Brian Rentfro: “Just what are you saying?”

Jon McDaniel: ”That this match couldn’t have been assigned to two nicer people.”

Say whoa (whoa)
The more I feed it (whoa)
The more I need it (whoa)
You say whoa
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa

Eric Emerson: “Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by Katrina and Elizabeth, weighing in at two-hundred and twenty pounds, from Ottawa, Ontario Canada…”

Matt Stone came out from the back with his two ladies, the Intercontinental championship around his waist. He walks down whispering something to Katrina, then whispers to Elizabeth. They stop at the end of the ramp and they each kiss Stone’s cheeks and turn around to walk to the back.

Eric Emerson: “He is the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion in PWA History….here is Maaaaatt Stooooone!!!!”

Matt walks over to the steps and walks right up them, getting into the steel cage, handing off the IC title as he passed the referee on the outside. Matt looks around inside the structure as his theme music runs out, Matt bounced off the ropes now before the cage is ignited.

The first few chords of Edward Elgar's fourth Pomp & Circumstance March are played from the PA system into the arena. After a few seconds, "The Purist" Marvin Wood appears from behind the curtain with a dour expression on his face. He walks to the middle of the stage area and stands there for a few seconds, to survey the audience. He then begins walking down the entrance-way. Many of the members of the audience boo, some catcall and a few cheer. He looks at no-one as he approaches the ring, but stretches his fingers a bit. He stretches three fingers on each hand, first, and then four fingers on each hand.

Eric Emerson: “And his opponent, he is the reigning PWA World Heavyweight Champion, weighing in at 230 pounds and from Pontefract, England! He is Marvin Wooooood!”

Marvin walks towards the ring steps, and walks up them and towards the middle of the apron, sliding his hand over the top rope as he does so. He pauses there for a few seconds, before entering the ring, right leg first and then left leg. He enters the ring with plenty of pomp and circumstance, as if he were a foot taller than he is. He then walks over to the opposite turnbuckle and waits.

Brian Rentfro: “Here we go, we have the two biggest stars in the PWA right now facing off for both our prestigious championships.”

Jon McDaniel: “What about Matthew Engel? Riona Langly? Jethro Hayes?”

Brian Rentfro: “Are they in this match?”

Jon McDaniel: “Well no…”

Brian Rentfro: “Then my point stands”

The jets on the outside of the cage light up and the fire starts up, the crowd cheering as the bell rings and we are under way in this World Title Match. Both men begin to circle each other, not wanting to be too anxious to attack and make a mistake. Both known more for their technical prowess rather than hardcore styles, this match is shaping out to be a technical spectacular, regardless of the surrounding cage. They lock up in the middle of the ring, Marvin quickly ducking behind and getting Stone in a side head lock. Not to be out done, Stone quickly grabs Marvin’s arm and twists out of the headlock, getting him in a reverse arm wringer. Marvin though, quick to think, ducks down, swinging his hips to force Stone over his body. Matt tumbles with the turn and gets up quickly, as does Wood. Stone charges at Marvin and Wood quickly ducks back, hooking Stone’s arm in the process and connecting with a deep arm drag, Wood keeps Stone’s arm trapped with an arm bar.

Jon McDaniel: “Marvin Wood get’s the advantage off the first exchange”

Brian Rentfro: “Now this is a wrestling match we have here!”

Stone tries to fight to his feet to get out of the arm bar and Wood allows it, only to try backing Matt up against the ropes, close to the flaming steel. Matt feels the heat and quickly drops down, but traps Wood’s right leg in the process and Wood falls forward, landing his neck on the middle rope, literally seeing the fire inches from his face. Wood quickly scampers away to safety, allowing Matt time to get to his feet.

Brian Rentfro: “That was close!”

Jon McDaniel: “Yeah, it was. Interesting counter by Matt Stone”

As Marvin gets to his feet, Stone meets him with a right forearm to the inside of his jaw, backing Wood up to the corner. Stone drives his shoulder into the abdomen of Wood, whose feeling the heat from behind, but has no where to go. Stone takes a few steps back and smirks, charging in for a third shoulder but finds nothing but steel! Marvin was able to side step the attack and quickly pulled Matt out of the corner with a school boy!

Stone was able to kick out, rolling off to the side in the process.

Jon McDaniel: “We almost had a new Intercontinental champion that quick”

Brian Rentfro: “It takes more than that to defeat Matt Stone”

Stone and Wood are both getting up at the same time and they both lunge at each other for a lock-up, neither one getting the advantage right away. Stone quickly stomps on Wood’s right foot to gain the upper hand, and backs Wood up against the ropes, sending him across the other side of the ring, the flames shooting up when Wood rebounds off the ropes right into the awaiting grasp of Matt Stone, who was looking for a back body drop, but was skillfully countered by the World Champion in the form of a DDT. Marvin rolls Stone over quickly, hooking the outside leg and attempts to retain his World Title

Again, Matt is able to kick out.

Jon McDaniel: “Marvin Wood is wasting no time in going for the cover, a wise strategy”

Brian Rentfro: “Matt Stone just can’t seem to get anything going”

Stone get’s to his feet slowly as Wood measures him, looking for the bigger offense now. As Stone staggers up, he’s met with a hard knife-edged chop which sends him reeling up against the ropes. Wood, seeing the opportunity, grabs Matt’s head and spins him a quick 180 degrees and rams his head into the cold steel! The crowd cheers at this as Matt is sent falling back, holding his head from the pain of not only the steel, but the flames as well. Wood, once again, goes for the cover in this situation.

Kick out!

Matt is able to scoot his far shoulder off the mat, but Wood senses weakness and starts hammering down fists on Matt Stone’s head until his hand is covered with blood. Matt’s forehead is busted up pretty bad and referee Lance Weston checks to see if Matt can continue, which he most certainly can. Wood picks Matt up off the mat and rams him head first into the opposite steel cage wall. This time, however, he keeps his grip on Stone, lowering his arms around Matt’s waist and lifting him off the ground in a reverse suplex, bridging his body into a pin

Matt rolls off the mat and is quickly brought back to his feet by Wood who still has his arms firmly clasped and is brought back to the mat by another hard suplex, once again with a bridge.

Thr-Kick out!

This one is closer, but again Matt shoots his arm off the mat as Wood rolls back and brings him up again, looking for a third suplex in a row and he hits it! Matt is once again brought backwards and down on the mat, and Wood is quick to bridge once again for the third pin fall attempt in ten seconds.

Matt once again is able to roll off the mat with his left shoulder, though with less and less enthusiasm each time. Wood is relentless in his pursuit and pulls Matt up to a vertical base one more time, looking for the fourth suplex in a row, but this time Stone is able to wrap his leg around Wood’s to prevent Marvin from having the leverage to proceed. Wood tries again, but again Stone is there with the counter, only this time Matt follows up with a sharp elbow to Wood’s head, followed by a second which loosens Marvin’s grip. Matt pulls his right leg forward and sends it backwards right between Marvin’s legs connecting with a hard low blow. Some of the crowd cheer, but most boo as Wood is their home town guy. Matt quickly spins around and jumps in the air, driving Wood’s face down into Stone’s knee, hitting with the Combo Breaker!

Brian Rentfro: “C-c-c-c-combo Breaker! Stone as trapped in a Suplex Labyrinth with seemingly no escape and not only did he find one, but he found one that has won him countless matches in the past.”

Jon McDaniel: “You mean the low blow?”

Brian Rentfro: “It’s a cage match Jon, and the cage is on fire! What’s a low blow?”

Jon McDaniel: “Good point and a good counter nevertheless by Matt Stone whose going for the cover”

Thr-Kick out!

Marvin Wood was able to kick out at the last second. The crowd erupted in cheers at this. Stone just looked at Weston with a look of bewilderment. Matt wiped some blood off his forehead and staggered to his feet. He looked to the flaming cage wall, then down at Wood who was getting to his feet slowly. Matt stalked Wood as he was getting up, wrapping his arm around Wood’s neck and pulling him down backwards across Stone’s back, executing a text book Stone Cutter. Matt once again goes for the cover.

Kick Out!

Jon McDaniel: “You couldn’t get a closer three count if you scripted this!”

Brian Rentfro: “Wood is still in this, but Matt Stone looks to have found his offense. Things are just heating up!”

Jon McDaniel: “That was just lame”

Despite Brian’s lame pun, the match was starting to hat up not only in excitement, but pure temperature as well. Notably sweating, Stone got back to his feet and called for Wood to do the same. Marvin rolled to his stomach and forced himself to one knee before Stone called his shot.

Matt Stone: “Kneel before Zod!”

Stone swung his right leg right at Wood’s head, who was able to duck back down as Matt spun around and Wood lunged forward, pushing Matt forward into the ropes and beyond into the steel cage. Matt bounced off the structure and stumbled back where Wood now stood, pulling Matt’s head back and trapping his leg, looking for the Imperfect Science to put the match away.

Jon McDaniel: “Wood’s looking for the end here”

Brian Rentfro: “But what’s Stone doing?”

Stone reached out and put his hand on the top rope adjacent and rose his free leg to the middle rope of the corner, pushing himself up and over Wood, landing on his feet, but losing his balance and stumbling back a few steps. Slightly surprised by the acrobatics of Matt Stone, Wood turned around as Stone charged, locking Wood’s head and sweeping out his leg at the same time, driving Wood straight down to the canvas.

Brian Rentfro: “Imperfect Tense! Matt Stone just hit Wood with his own move!”

Jon McDaniel: “Matt Stone will stop at nothing to silence the critics and claim his first World Title.”

Brian Rentfro: “Both men are down Jon, can Stone get the cover in time to end the match?”

Jon McDaniel: “It looks like he’s going for it now.”

Matt had indeed draped his arm across Wood’s chest

The crowd was booing heavily and Lance Weston got up and immediately waived off the pin fall, citing Wood’s leg on the bottom rope. The bell sounded anyway and the fire on the cage slowed and shut off. Weston hurried over to talk to Eric through the cage and after a brief conversation, Eric nodded and rose a microphone to his mouth.

Eric Emerson: “Ladies and Gentlemen, the ruling is that Marvin Wood had his foot on the bottom rope before the third count and therefore this match WILL CONTINUE!!!!”

The crowd erupted in cheers and the fire came on rather quickly. Stone, on the other hand, wasn’t nearly as happy with the call, his hands grabbing his hair. He got up from Wood and walked over to Lance Weston, getting right in his face, holding up three fingers. Lance held up two fingers in Stone’s face right back

Brian Rentfro: “Matt Stone was just robbed of the World Title!”

Jon McDaniel: “I’m told we have a replay, let’s take a look”

The scene replays over the screen, clearly showing the count the referee was making and Wood’s foot just getting atop the bottom rope as Lance’s hand was coming down for three.

Jon McDaniel: “That’s the right call Brian, and this match will still continue despite the protest of Matt Stone”

Brian Rentfro: “That was far too close to call like that. If Wood’s leg would have been added after the three, Lance would have lost his job over that!”

Jon McDaniel: “I don’t know about that, but it certainly was close”

Matt was still arguing with Lance Weston to no avail and as he finally gave up, Matt turned around and was snapped to the mat by the awaiting Marvin Wood, arm around the neck, leg sweep, all to familiar with the perfect Imperfect Tense!

Jon McDaniel: “That’s it! Stone is out!”

Brian Rentfro: “I still say this isn’t fair, but that’s doesn’t matter now, here’s the cover”

Three-KICK OUT!!!

Lance holds up two fingers and the crowd boos heavily. Marvin looks at Lance in disbelief, but Matt was able to kick out just moments before the three count.

Brian Rentfro: “I don’t believe it!”

Jon McDaniel: “Love ‘em or hate ‘em, but Matt Stone is one tough son of a bitch!”

Brian Rentfro: “What is it going to take to end this match?”

Wood slowly gets to his feet and looks down at the bloody mess of Matt Stone and lightly kicks him in the side of the head.

Jon McDaniel: “What disrespect by Marvin Wood.”

Brian Rentfro: “Head games Jon, Matt lost his cool when he didn’t get the win, Marvin is reassessing the situation and acting accordingly.”

Wood reaches down and grabs Stone’s head, pulling him up to a vertical base. Marvin pulls Matt over to the far ropes, showing him the flaming cage wall before tossing him straight into it, holding Stone’s face against the cage wall, grinding his forehead against the steel with the fire burning bright.

Jon McDaniel: “What is Marvin doing? Stone will need surgery if he survives this!”

Brian Rentfro: “He’s defending the PWA World Title Jon, that’s what he’s doing!”

Matt tries to fight out of the grasp of Wood, but Wood releases him before Matt has a chance to counter and Stone falls to his knees, creating distance between the two with his hands over his face, screaming out in pain. Wood just as a smirk on his face as he slowly approaches his challenger. Wood watched Matt cover his face with a smug look of satisfaction plastered across his face and goes to kick Matt in the side of the head, but Stone reacts quickly, grabbing Wood’s leg and pulling him down closer, trapping Marvin’s head in the process and rolling him over with a small package!

Jon McDaniel: “What a counter!”

Kick out!

Wood is able to kick out of the surprising pin attempt and as Matt get’s to his feet, Wood charges and knocks Stone flat on his back with a stiff clothesline. Wood’s eyes light up like the fire around the ring, enraged that Stone was able to pull that counter off and grabs Matt’s legs, wrapping one of them around his own and looking to turn Stone over with a sharpshooter, but once again Matt has the perfect counter and sits up quickly, grabbing Wood’s head and bringing him down in another capturing pin fall.

Kick out!

Once again Wood is able to get out of the pinning predicament, even more enraged than he was before. Stone get’s up and for the first time, the camera gets a good look at his scared flesh from the earlier assault, the blood covering up the burn mark on his forehead, however the fire has seemingly cauterized the wound at least partially as Matt is no longer bleeding. Wood is now up along with Matt and the two look across at each other, eye to eye as if frozen in time.

Jon McDaniel: “Matt Stone is not out of this match yet Brian.”

Brian Rentfro: “Neither is Marvin Wood. What a match”

Wood is the first to break the tension, shooting for Stone;s legs and receiving a knee to the face for his troubles. Stone quickly knocks Wood flat on his back with a double-leg pick up and flips over Wood’s body with a jack knife cover.

Kick Out!

Wood kicks out and scrampled up as does Stone, who lunges for a clothesline, but Wood ducks the contact and grab’s Stone’s tights and rolls him backwards with a school boy.

Kick out!

This time it’s Matt with the kick out and again the two competitors reset to a standing position. Now it’s Wood’s turn to advance, electing to jump at Matt for a spinning wheel kick, however Matt braces himself and catches Wood, driving him straight down to the mat, falling over him for a cover.

Kick out!

Wood shoots the shoulder up and in the process, kicks Stone in the head to back him off. Wood rolls over to his hands and knees as Matt get’s closer and Wood purposefully remains down and sweeps Matt’s legs out as he approached and Wood quickly hooks Matt’s outside leg.

Kick out!

Jon McDaniel: “Back and forth, this one can go either way”

Brian Rentfro: “The next big move could be it”

Both men get up rather quickly and Stone goes to the air now for a quick hurricane-ranna to gain the advantage, however Wood counters with a power bomb, staying in the position for the cover.

Stone pushed Wood’s away and he flips to the mat, shoulders under Matt’s legs for another cover

Wood scissors his legs on either side of Stone’s head and powers forward atop Matt and leans all the way forward with Stone’s legs hooked, a sight you may recall in the famous match between the British Bulldog and Bret Hart in Wimbly stadium at the 1992 Summer slam, or you would if this wasn’t the PWA where other wrestling companies have never existed

Thr-Kick out!

Unlike that match that totally didn’t happen, this one would not end in that fashion as Stone was able to kick out right before the three count. Both men got up again quickly and much like how the chain started, Wood shot for Matt’s right leg and he got it, but not how he intended as Stone placed his knee right under Marvin’s jaw and drove him straight down atop it. Combo Breaker!!!

Jon McDaniel: “WHAT A COUNTER!! No one has ever gotten up from two Combo Breakers!”

Wood fell to the side limp and Matt rolled him over and hooked the outside leg, the PWA World Title in his sights now. History is set to be made as Lance Weston gets in the perfect position for the cover.

MARVIN WOOD KICKS OUT BITCH! The crowd goes crazy!

Brian Rentfro: “Oh shit! Marvin Wood is no normal human being! All hail King Wood!”

Jon McDaniel: “I don’t believe it!”

Brian Rentfro: “You don’t believe it? Look at Stone!”

Matt had gotten off Wood and starting banging his fists against the mat in pure frustration as Lance shows the world the two fingers in the air. Wood is still down on the mat, Stone glances over at him and holds up his two arms in a crossed position, separating them and putting them back together thrice, making three distinct Xs.

Jon McDaniel: “What does that mean?”

Brian Rentfro: “I don’t know, but Stone isn’t wasting anymore time.”

Matt was looking down at Wood who hadn’t really moved since he was able to kick out from the second Combo Breaker of the match. Stone rose his legs and stepped inside, wrapping them together and spinning Wood around, sitting down and locking him in his own version of the Sharpshooter.

Jon McDaniel: “Now it’s time for Marvin wood to feel the Wrath of Kahn”

Brian Rentfro: “You know, I never noticed this before but Kneel before Zod? Wrath of Kahn? Matt Stone is a total nerd!”

Jon McDaniel: “A nerd who might be our next World Champion Brian.”

Brian Rentfro: “True, and a heck of a champion Matt will make after this showing.”

Stone had the sharpshooter cinched in on Marvin, who was looking across the ring at the nearest ropes while the pain shot right through his whole body. Wood started to cry out in pain as Matt leaned back as much as he could. Marvin started to crawl towards the ropes as it was his only escape. Matt tried his best to hold the World Champion but Marvin wouldn’t be denied his chance to prolong the match despite all the pain he’s feeling. Inches closer Marvin got to the bottom rope as the crowd started to boo out loud.

Brian Rentfro: “Uh oh.. Here comes Liz and Katrina down the aisle, and what have they got?”

Jon McDaniel: “Why it appears to be a burlap sack there Brian, I believe native to India back in the 19th century. Did you know that everywhere else in the world, the fabric we call burlap is actually called Hessian?”

Brian Rentfro: “How the hell do you know that?”

Jon McDaniel: “It came up in a conversation I had with Marvin a few weeks back”

Brian Rentfro: “Regardless, what are they doing with one?”

Jon McDaniel: “Oh, I have no idea”

It’s true that Elizabeth and Katrina were bringing down said sack to the ring, stopping a few feet outside the cage where the wall of flames blurred their vision to the ring and where Marvin Wood had just about reached the bottom rope. Seeing how close they were, Matt pulled up slightly and started walking back to the center of the ring, dragging Wood along with him.

Brian Rentfro: “That might be Wood’s one chance to get to the ropes, this match could be over”

Jon McDaniel: “Damn, now we might not find out what’s in that sack. I was so curious too, you know how much I like surprises-“

Brian Rentfro: “Shut up for a second, Wood’s making another effort!”

Marvin had indeed pushed himself up in an effort to loosen Stone’s grip and allow himself some wiggle room, despite putting maximum strain on his lower back. Wood was somewhat successful, giving him enough of a momentum shift to resume his agonizing crawl to the bottom rope. Stone tries to resist Marvin, looking to lock the two in place but he is unable to as Wood crawls forward and grabs the bottom rope, prompting Lance Weston to call for the break. Weston starts counting as Stone refuses to break right away and Stone reluctantly released the hold, nodding across at Liz.

Brian Rentfro: “Come to think of it, what would happen if Weston got to 5? It’s not like we have disqualifications”

Jon McDaniel: “Actually, in terms of a rope break situation, there is grounds for disqualification for the safety of the competitors.”

Brian Rentfro: “Safety?!? They’re surrounded by fire! How can that be-“

Jon McDaniel: “Shut up! They’re opening the bag!”

Liz and Katrina were indeed opening the sack and Elizabeth pulled out a large red object. The crowd started to cheer and boo, depending on their affiliation as the camera got a good shot at the object, a fire extinguisher!

Brian Rentfro: “Surely Elizabeth is not going to try and put out the cage!”

Jon McDaniel: “I don’t know what they’re planning, but don’t call me Shirley.”

Liz pointed the hose of the extinguisher at the cage and started shooting it’s contents, putting out the fire directly in front of her long enough for Katrina to reach in the back and get close enough to the cage to slide in her object from the back. The smoke from the extinguisher concealed the object momentarily and as Elizabeth stopped with the discharge, the smoke cleared, the fire started back up and Matt Stone was revealed to be holding a sledgehammer. He had a smirk on his face as he turned to face Wood who was slowly getting to his feet, holding his lower back.

Jon McDaniel: “Ingenious! They put out the fire just long enough to get Matt the sledgehammer. That must have been what stone was doing earlier! Signaling the two to come down to the ring to execute some kind of plan”

Brian Rentfro: “Thank you Sherlock. Remember what Matt Stone said earlier in the week during his interview? It’s time to get dangerous.”

Stone holds the sledgehammer close to his body as Wood turns around, Matt lunges forward and drives the head of the hammer in Marvin’s abdomen. Wood falls quickly to his knees, his head leaning forward in pain. Matt gently places the head of the hammer on Wood’s right shoulder, brings it over his head to his left shoulder and then places it gently over his back, the camera picking up Matt Stone’s taunting.

Matt Stone: “I dub thee, Sir Former World Champion”

Lance Weston watches helplessly as Wood looks up in time to see Stone viciously bring the hammer down across the World Champion’s jaw line.

Jon McDaniel: “Did you hear that? What arrogance”

Brian Rentfro: “Wood is down, I don’t know if even he can get up from this”

The crowd boos as Stone drops the hammer at his feet and gets down, rolling Wood’s limp body over and covering him, hooking the outside leg.

“Whoa is Me” played in the arena as the crowd booed out loud, tossing their garbage into the ring.

Jon McDaniel: “What a match! Matt Stone earned that win by any means necessary”

Brian Rentfro: “All Hail King Stone!”

Stone gets to his knees as the fire goes out, both Katrina and Elizabeth jumping up and down, hugging each other. The cage slowly raises up.

Eric Emerson: “The winner of the match and still PWA Intercontinental champion…and NEW PWA World Champion…Matt Stoooone!!!!!!”

As the cage raised up, Liz and Katrina ran over to the time keeper’s table and grabbed the two titles, getting in the ring as Matt struggled to get to his feet. They met him by his side, Liz also with a microphone in her hand. They put the titles around Matt’s waist as he rose his own hands in the air, swaying a bit from the exhausted. Marvin was helped out of the ring by three referees as Stone took center stage. Matt’s theme slowly faded away.

Elizabeth: “I’m here with an exclusive post match interview with Matt Stone. Matt! You just beat Marvin Wood here in jolly ole England, what do you have to say?”

Matt: “I’m going to Euro-Disneyworld!”

Katrina and Liz laugh as Matt’s theme plays once again, the crowd booing even louder now as Stone is helped out of the ring by Katrina and Elizabeth and now Anthony Torres as well, Chilltown making their way to the back with Stone holding up the PWA World Title for the world to see!

Jon McDaniel: “It took him two and a half years to win that title, but he has finally done it”

Brian Rentfro: ‘And what a way to win it. Now he faces a new set of challenges though, and I think he’ll be just fine.”

Jon McDaniel: “Tune in next Sunday for PWA’s Rampage to see the fallout from this spectacular event. I’m Jon McDaniel and for Brian Rentfro, good night folks!”

The final scene showed is Matt Stone being held in the air by Anthony, bloody face and all with a smile on his face holding up the PWA World Title.
