World Heavyweight Title: The Phoenix
Intercontinental Title: Johnny Maverick

The tables have turned!

Lisa turns to Astrid and exchanges a look and a shrug. Security guy looks a little taken aback, but he stands his ground all the same.

Lisa Seldon: Look, we all know how this goes, we see it every week. You make a fuss, then I go all ninja and kill all of you. It’s the same every week.

The Security guy steps forward and up to full height.

Security Dude: Mam, we’re not the same security you’re used to dealing with.

Lisa looks him up and down and then scrunches up her face. She then draws her eyes off him and back to Astrid.

Lisa Seldon: Is this guy serious? And why does he keep calling me mam.

Astrid shrugs her shoulders as Lisa turns back; looking utterly disgusted that security guy is still there.

Security Dude: Mam, in the time you’ve been away things have changed you’re not –

Lisa Seldon: Security guy gets cut off as Lisa takes a step back and punches him in the throat. It takes a second, but his eyes go wide and he goes straight down. The rest of the security team seem a bit off balance, and no more so than when Lisa passes them by without a second look. Astrid gives the man on the floor a look, sighs, mentally clears her schedule and then hurries after.

Jethro Hayes vs Ash Nukem

Jethro clotheslines Nukem as he enters the ring and the bell is rung. Hayes lifts his smaller opponent and tosses him into the corner, and begins hitting him with open-hand slaps across the chest. He puts Nukem on the top turnbuckle and goes for a superplex, but Nukem punches his opponent in the gut a couple of times, sending him staggering back. Nukem off the top rope with a hurricanrana, but is caught by Hayes! Hayes NUKES Nukem with the Planter! He goes for the pin. 1, 2, Nukem kicks out!

Hayes is in disbelief and lifts his opponent to his feet and puts Nukem's head in between his legs. He lifts him for another Planter, but Nukem begins to punch Hayes in the face, sending Hayes stumbling towards the ropes. Nukem slips off of Hayes' shoulders and lands on the ring apron. Hayes turns around and goes for a mammoth clubbing blow, but Nukem ducks and headbutts Hayes in the gut. Nukem with an attempted sunset flip while Hayes is doubled over, but Hayes isn't budging. Hayes looks down at his opponent and goes for a quick butt-drop, leaving Nukem shrieking as he moves out of the way.

Hayes gets to his feet and Nukem kicks him in the gut. Hayes doubled over again, and Nukem runs into the ropes. He bounces off and Hayes nails him with the Plow!!! Hayes hooks the leg. 1, 2, 3!

Winner: Jethro Hayes

The Seldontastic era begins anew

now with extra Bastards

A door explodes from a kick as we jump backstage, and Lisa Seldon steps through the debris.

Lisa Seldon: Honey, I’m home!

For now we completely ignore the fact that we were on the inside of a locked room and instead bask in the glory of a return to Lisa Seldon’s office (and we answer the age old question, how come we’re always in Lisa Seldon’s office? It’s because he apparently lives there… in her office which changes with every arena. ANYWAY!)

Lisa takes a spin around her desk, before throwing herself down in her chair. She barely has a chance to sigh before her first visitor arrives: Johnny Maverick, attempting to knock where the door used to be.

Johnny Maverick: Er… can I come in.

Lisa Seldon: Sure, door is… not there.

Johnny steps over the wreckage that signifies Lisa’s current opinion of the situation and plops himself down on a chair in front of her desk (backwards, obviously, because he’s hip like that). Lisa herself kicks her feet up on the desk and reclines back, enjoying the thought of not having paperwork.

Johnny Maverick: So, Lisa, now that you’re back I thought I’d talk to you about my tag team title shot.

Lisa Seldon: Hmm?

Lisa drifts between him and the Spyke Signal just at arms reach.

Johnny Maverick: You know, the tag team title shot we obviously deserve.

He regains her attention.

Lisa Seldon: What’s in it for me?

Johnny Maverick: Well…

He fishes around in his pocket.

Johnny Maverick: You’re good friend Andrew Jackson here would really appreciate it.

Johnny waves a twenty in her general direction and after a moment of consideration, she leans forward to take it off his hands.

Lisa Seldon: Sure ok… but you know I’m not in charge anymore, right?

Johnny Maverick: Oh.

The look on his faces shows that, actually, he did not.

Johnny Maverick: Can I have my money back then?

Lisa smiles.

Lisa Seldon: No.

She slips back into her chair and flicks the switch on the signal… and nothing happens.

Lisa Seldon: Hey, where’s Spykeman?

Johnny Maverick: Don’t you know, he got fired.

Suddenly, Lisa is very much awake again.

Lisa Seldon: He got what?

Johnny Maverick: Kalis got rid of him… because he’s a dick. Isn’t that why you’re back; so he’ll leave.

She scowls.

Lisa Seldon: Well, it is now!

Lisa jumps to her feet and marches for the door.

Lisa Seldon: Come on Johnny, we’re going to go hurt some people.

Johnny weighs the thought up, considers his schedule and then decides to go with it. The two leave the room and walk right into Spyke.

Spyke Gein: Oh hey, how’s your face.

Lisa Seldon: Wait, didn’t you just.

Johnny steps in behind Spyke and gives Lisa a concerned look with a shake of the head. She takes his advice and doesn’t pursue the point. Instead, we jump out of shot.

Cody Bogard vs Matt Stone

I came to play!

Matt Stone's theme can be heard in the arena and the crowd begins to show their dissapproval for the longest reigning Grizzly Beer champion in PWA history.

I came to play
There's a price to pay
Time for you to get down on your knees and pray
I came to pay
Say goodbye to the good old days
They're never coming back
Watch your future fade
I came to play
I came to play to get my dues paid
I guess you had a dream
But it cant be safe
I came to play!

Stone comes out of the back followed by Katrina who just looks happy to be there. Stone has an arrogant smirk on his face as he holds up the Wrestler of the Year trophy. He walks up to the camera, remarking 'Now the ratings go up'. Stone brushes past the cameraman now and heads to the ring, followed by Katrina.

I'm here to stay
Best get out of my way
I have come to play

Eric Emerson: "Introducing, accompanied to the ring by his personal interviewer Katrina, he weighs in at one hundred-ninety pounds, from Ottawa, Ontario Canada. He is the Wrestler of the Year, Matt Stone!"

I go inside this light
I see new life unfold
Each second I burn brighter
Your fire is going cold
You could try to beg for mercy
Go ahead and try to run
No escape and no redemption
Understand the ends begun

Standing in the ring now, Stone looks out at the crowd and raises his hands in the air, holding the trophy just as high as he can. He hands the trophy to Katrina on the outside of the ring and hits the ropes a few times in preparation for his match.

The lights suddenly dim down as the opening intro to Dragon Storm 2007 plays. Once the intro finishes and goes into the main theme, smoke emerges from near the entrance way.

A figure emerges from the smoke, standing while looking at the fans as he stands in the shadows. The figure is seen as strobe lights go off to reveal Cody Bogard posing at the entrance way. Cody makes his way to the ring.

Mizukara no ishi de sono tobi tataki
Mizukara no ishi de sono tobira wo hiraku
Taka naru mune no kodou wo Osae kurezu ni
Kokoro ni himeta Tsuyoi toshi wo moyasu

Cody makes his way over to the ring, springing up to the ring apron, climbing the turnbuckle and posing with his arms open in a pose.

Kanayaku daiya no Genseki no youni
[Itsuka wa hikari wo hanatemasu youni...]

Cody jumps from the turnbuckle as he thrusts his arm into the air to a hail of cheers.

Yume no tobira wo hiraku Erabareshi senshitachi
Kagirinaki kanou sei wo Sono mune ni idaita mama
Mizukara wo shinjite tsudoishi nakama wo shinjite
Hatenaki "yume oi bito" wa Ashita e no michi wo iku dake

Cody takes his time to prepare for the match as the theme fades out.

Ding Ding

Lock up in center of the ring, Matt with a quick wristlock and an even quicker go behind. Cody grunts and slaps at his shoulder before bending over to send Matt rolling over his back and onto his feet. Matt strikes out with a foot, but Cody catches the foot. Dragonscrew legwhip sends Matt down. Cody off the ropes, springing back with a back flip onto the canvas as Matt rolls just out of the way. Stone back up with quick agility and here comes Cody with a leg lariat, but Stone ducks under catching him with a split legged spinebuster, but Cody counters with a face slam onto the canvas. Bogard up quickly leaping to the top turnbuckle, flipping backwards with a double knee drop right onto Stone who's air rushes right out of him. Cody pulls Stone back up to his feet, Irish whip into the corner.

Jon McDaniel: Fast paced match here so far Brian.

Brian Rentfro: I know, I can hardly keep up with it.

Cody runs to the corner, flipping up onto his hands to drive both feet right into Stone's chest causing Matt to fall out of the corner. Cody off the ropes flipping over Stone to drag his throat across his shoulder in a flipping sort of stunner. Stone falls back and Cody makes the first cover of the match.

Stone gets a shoulder up and Cody goes back on the offense.

Jon McDaniel: Cody not wasting time here.

Brian Rentfro: Yeah, is he even breathing?

Cody whips Matt into the ropes, but he reverses sending Cody into the ropes instead. Cody leaps to the top back flipping over Matt landing on his feet, standing dropkick sending Matt Stone over the top rope to the outside. Cody waves a hand over his head before hitting the opposite ropes. Cody flies over the top rope with a plancha to the outside!

Jon McDaniel: Cody flies!

Matt slams a knee right into the landing Cody, causing him to land hard. Matt pulls Cody back up to his feet, Bogard looking a bit worse for the wear right this particular second. Irish whip into the corner post and Cody's head bounces off the steel solidly. Cody spins around right into a swinging neckbreaker from Matt Stone. Matt lifts Cody back up to his feet, whip into the ring steps sends them flying and Cody's hand holding at his shoulder. Stone stalks his prey as the count is up to seven inside the ring. Matt Stone rolls inside to break the count before rolling back outside.

Brian Rentfro: Matt doing the right thing there and breaking the count to increase the damage on the outside.

Jon McDaniel: But either man can lose on the outside or both can.

Stone stomps on the back of Cody's neck to wear him down and cause him to hesitate with any high risk move. Stone lifts Cody up, dropping him back of neck first on the railing. Cody holds at the back of his neck as Stone chops away at his chest.

Jon McDaniel: The crowd Woooooos there with each chop.

Brian Rentfro: They can't understand anything we say, but they know how to Woooo with the best of them.

Stone with another chop reddens the chest of Bogard. Stone with the palm of his hand slaps Cody's chest reddening it even further. Stone whips Cody into the ring apron, but Bogard leaps up, spinning around with a kick to Stone's head. Stone holds at his temple as he stumbles away. Cody runs along the apron, flying off with a crossbody to Stone's back sending him face first into the railing around ringside. Cody gets back up, all be it slowly, but he is up to his feet first. Cody waves a hand over his head before pulling Matt back up. Cody with a knee into Stone's midsection before rolling him into the ring and breaking the count just in time. Cody leaps up to the apron and grabs the top rope. Inside the ring Stone is beginning to get up, his back to Bogard. Cody leaps to the top rope, poising there before leaping out with a split legged kick right to Stone's face sending him stumbling into the ropes. Cody off the ropes as Matt walks forward. Cody leaps over Stone's stumbling body to bounce off the ropes in front of him, rolling forward and springing up with a clothesline to take Matt down. Cody once again plays to the crowd before climbing to the top turnbuckle and pointing down to Stone in the center of the ring. Cody leaps, front flipping one full rotation to slam chest first into Stone's uplifted knees. Bogard rolls off, holding at his chest as Stone lays there catching his breath. Matt rolls over to his knees befor eshaking his head.

Jon McDaniel: That high risk didn't pay off for Cody.

Brian Rentfro: Yeah, crash and burn.

Stone lifts himself up to his feet, looking at both the crowd and Cody with disgust. Stone pulls Cody up to his feet. Forearm right to the face before pulling him into a belly to belly. Stone releases the overhead belly to belly just in time to send Cody slamming into the turnbuckles. Stone rolls up to his feet, taking his time as Cody is breathing heavy in the corner, still trying to recover from the double knees to the chest. Stone pulls him up, slap to the face and a chop to the chest. Stone brings a knee into Cody's ribs, to further cause him trouble breathing. Stone with an European uppercut rocks Cody's head back and another knee goes into Bogard's stomach, Cody is in a world of hurt here. Stone with a bulldog out of the corner has the match in firm control. Stone gets up to his feet, yelling something out to the crowd, but they have no idea what he says, they just boo because they know they hate him. Stone pulls Cody up, Northern Lights suplex into a pin.

Cody manages to get a shoulder up to prevent the loss. Stone has a few words for the referee, but he chooses to take his frustration out on Cody instead. Irish whip into the ropes, ring shaking spinebuster sends Cody down heavily on his neck more than his back. Cody groans as he holds at the back of his neck. Matt gets up, slicing his thumb across his throat signaling the end of the match. ROLLING STONE! Matt hits the Rolling Stone and the crowd is booing for him. Stone gets back up, smirking as he lifts Cody up.

Brian Rentfro: C-C-C-C-Combo Breaker!

Matt nonchalantly makes the cover.

Ding Ding Ding

Eric Emerson: Winner of the match... Matttttttttt Stttttttone!

Duffman and the kid!

Masakazu is sitting in his locker room, suiting up for his match. The walls are unadorned, which is almost alien for someone related to Simon Kalis. The door swings open and Duff Côte d'Ivoire steps into the room with his skull-shaped mask on his face. Masakazu barely even shows an ounce of concern with his opponent standing so far away. He shakes a cigarette butt from his pack and lights up, looks at Duff with nonchalance in his eyes. Duff just stands there, looking at his adversary.

Masakazu: Hello, Mr. McCoy.

Duff: Masakazu.

Masakazu leans back in his chair, staring at the ember of his cigarette for a moment.

Masakazu: I can't say I'm surprised to see you barge into my locker room like this. But...

Masakazu points towards the cameras installed as per The Pioneers Act of 2010 in the locker room.

Masakazu: Watch what you do.

Duff: I'm going to be brief, Masakazu. I want to make a deal.

Masakazu takes a drag from his cigarette and smirks.

Masakazu: What kind of deal?

Duff: I want to meet with your dad in regards to my child. If I beat you tonight, I want to meet with him in Japan or wherever he's hiding out this week. I'm willing to turn myself over to his guards, as long as I get my word with Simon Kalis.

Masakazu: That's not up to me to decide, Duff. But I'm sure you'll find tonight’s events may just satisfy what you want after all.

Duff chuckles.

Duff: Should have figured it would be silly to come to the powerless one in this equation. I'm losing my mind, you see. Some might even say it packed up and left for Acapulco weeks ago. Maybe I should have just taken it straight to the Lord instead of his poor motherless son.

Masakazu flicks ash from his cigarette away, and looks up at Duff unamused.

Masakazu: Don't worry. Your God will be here to offer you salvation before the night is over.

Duff: I look forward to it, Masakazu.

He pats his rival on the shoulder.

Duff: Really, I do.

Masakazu: Yeah. I'm sure you do. Now get the fuck out of my locker room.

Duff nods and walks out the door backwards, watching Masakazu the whole way. Never turn your back on a Kalis.

Old School vs Hell Raisers vs Bound by Blood

All three teams come to the ring, Burt "the Hurt", Katie James, and Jimmy Henderson are the legal people in. Jimmy doesn't know either to piss, shit, or go blind as Katie and Burt move in on him, he kicks Burt hard in the upper thigh, causing him to drop to one knee as he and Katie go round and round, Jimmy irish whips Katie as Burt clubs him from behind, he staggers over to his corner and tags in Marco Dante whom actually starts to take it to Katie AND Burt. Marco with a huge haymaker on Burt whom runs over and tags in Boss, Marco levels Katie with a huge forearm, whom hurries over and tags in Sarah James. For once, Sarah and Marco stare each other down and then glance at Boss and they irish whip him and then do a dual back body drop that cause an Earthquake all the way in Rio! Then just as quickly, they start trading blows.

Unfortunately, the Old Schoolers don’t take too kindly to being shown up, and The Hurt runs right through both competitors. Jimmy tries to run back into help but he finds himself steamrolled by The Boss, who puts him into the corner and crushes the life out of him. Katie tries to run in to help but Burt catches him off guard and Hip-Tosses her to the mat. Magah then takes a step forward and jumps into a bodyslam that annihilates Katie beneath him. The crowd are ecstatic.

The Hurt then takes things upstairs while The Boss gets Marco into the centre of the ring. He then steps away as Burt takes flight and crushes Marco on the Crossbody. It’s enough to get the fans on their feet again, but the celebration is cut short by the referee, who demands a legal man. The Old Schoolers don’t seem to care for his tone though and decide to settle him down a little. The Boss then lifts the ref off the mat by the legs and takes him for a spin, getting up a fair speed before Burt “The Hurt” takes him out with a Big Boot to the face that sends him flying.

Ryan and Magah seem satisfied with their work and leave their various victims in a state as they make their way up the ramp. It takes a long while for anyone in the ring to get things back together; but Jimmy finally regains his composure and sets about Sarah with a few lazy kicks. He then tries to scoop her off the mat but Sarah pulls guard and gets him to the mat and snatches up with her legs. The referee is barely back in the game before he catches Jimmy going limp. He refuses to tap but it’s academic as he goes out, giving the James sisters the win.

Winners: Those James kids.

Lisa and The Bastards on tour!

We cut to frame amidst a pile of bodies. Kalis’ fancy dan security dudes lie in various corners in various states of contortion after what we can only assume is a run in with Lisa and the Glorious Bastards (an assumption built on them being in the vicinity).

The only other person awake at the scene seems to be a rather nicely dressed and altogether out of place little man, currently pressed up against the wall with Lisa’s forearm against his throat (yes, 5’6” little girl Lisa Seldon). He looks a little worried.

Lisa Seldon: So, who is this guy anyway?

Lisa turns to Johnny and Spyke, but neither seems to know or care. Thankfully, the weaselly little man under Lisa’s arm has just enough air to speak.

Weaselly Guy: I’m one of Simon Kalis’ assistants.

He has their attention.

Lisa Seldon: Really?

Weaselly Guy: Yes, he couldn’t be here tonight, so I was sent here to make sure things run smoothly.

Spyke Gein: Then you are doing a terrible job.

He takes a look around and concedes that’s probably the case.

Weaselly Guy: Yeah, well this isn’t really my area.

Lisa Seldon: I know right, we’re awful and sinister people.

Johnny Maverick: You want to cut him up.

She lights up, he goes pale.

Lisa Seldon: Oow lets.

Blessedly, Astrid Wynters rushes into the scene.

Astrid Wynters: No no no, you can’t cut up anyone. Especially not on TV.

Lisa seems to deflate. Johnny raises a hand.

Johnny Maverick: I still can though, right?

Astrid Wynters: I’d advise against it to be honest.

Johnny Maverick: Who brings their lawyer with them to a wrestling show?

Spyke Gein: What a loser.

Lisa Seldon: Hey fuck you guys.

Weaselly Guy: Can I go now?

Johnny Maverick: Hey, shut the fuck up. We’re talking here.

Lisa Seldon: So rude.

Astrid snaps her fingers a few times to pull their attention.

Astrid Wynters: Look. Why not you just get this guy to setup a meeting with Kalis, so that you can sort out your problems and not go to jail.

Johnny Maverick: Works for me. I’ve got a match later.

Lisa Seldon: Fine!

She turns to Weaslley Guy.

Lisa Seldon: Tell your buddy Simon that he turns up next week so I can take back my job or we’re taking his kids legs or something.

Johnny leans in over her shoulder.

Johnny Maverick: That’s my girlfriend you know.

Lisa Seldon: Fine, just the other one. Never liked that little Fuckrash anyway.

The little man complies with a nod and so Lisa lets him go, straightens his lapel for good measure and then steps away. He breathes a sigh of relief and then gets his face crushed as Spyke knocks him stupid with a Roundhouse Kick to the face. He goes out, and so do we, back to the ring.

Masakazu vs Duff Cote d'Ivore

Jon McDaniel: There's some bad blood between these two right now coming up, Brian.

Brian Rentfro: Probably an understatement of the year. Though Duff is more angered at Masa's father, Simon, than Masakazu himself.

Jon McDaniel: You're right. Masakazu is merely a final test for Duff before the big party starts.

Eric Emerson: The following match is schedueled for one pinfall, introducing first!

"Invaders Must Die" by The Prodigy hits the PA systems and the crowd jumps up into a roar of boos. Masakazu steps out from behind the curtain and looks around the crowd. He's decked out in an all black-leather outfit, which accentuates his muscle build up. He taps the silver crown over his head as he makes his way down to the ring.

Eric Emerson: Standing in at five feet, eleven inches tall... He hails from Osaka, Japan... He is the GREAT.... MASAKAZU!

Masakazu ignores the booing fans and slides into the ring. He stretches inside and looks around at all the fans mockingly saluting him with The Order fascist salute. Masakazu looks at the crowd somberly, before stepping into the middle of the ring and stomping his foot down and saluting the crowd with a proper military salute. Out of nowhere, Duff hops the barricade from the crowd and slides into the ring behind Masakazu. Masakazu turns around but is met with an immediate clothesline that takes him down to the canvas.

The crowd jumps to their feet as Duff begins laying in a series of heavy kicks to the downed Masakazu. Masa rolls away and hops to his feet. He bounces off the ropes and comes flying towards Duff, who catches him and then body slams him to the canvas. Masa rolls away and gets to his feet once more, unshaken by the assault. Masakazu moves in and ducks a power clothesline from the bigger man and jumps into the air, spinning 180 degrees and landing a sickening heel kick to the back of Duff's head. Masakazu grabs Duff by the throat and bangs his head into Duff's face. Duff's masks protects him from severe damage, as does the silver crown on Masakazu's forehead. Masakazu bounces off the ropes, springboards himself and corkscrews in the air before landing a dropkick on Duff to the excitement of the crowd!

Jon McDaniel: All out power versus finesse and agility. Who's going to win?!

Brian Rentfro: Anyone remember David v. Goliath?! Yeah!

Masakazu gets to his feet and nods at Duff, motioning him with his hands to bring it. Duff charges Masakazu and Masa sidesteps quickly. Duff snaps into action quicker, spinning and landing a vicious blow with his fist to Masakazu's face. Masakazu stumbles back and enters a muay thai fighting stance. Duff comes near, and Masakazu sends out a thrust kick directly beneath Duff's knees. Duff hits Masakazu head on with a European uppercut, sending Masakazu into the corner. Masa flips himself over Duff as Duff comes charging in, holding Duff into the corner now. Masakazu begins knife edge chopping Duff in the chest. Duff yells "AGAIN!" as Masakazu chops him once more. "AGAIN!" Duff screams as Masakazu continues the assault with repeated knife edge chops to Duff's chest.

Fans: AGAIN!

Masakazu chops Duff and he yells along with the fans.

Fans: AGAIN!

Masakazu chops Duff hard but Duff keeps shaking his head, yelling for more.

Fans: AGAIN!

Masakazu jumps back and chops Duff again. Then Masakazu hops onto the turnbuckle and sends a thrust kick to Duff's head as he springboard launches himself towards him. Duff stumbles slightly but grabs Masakazu by the throat, lifts him up and chokeslams him into the canvas. Duff bounces off the ropes and drops onto Masakazu with a heavy leg drop, shattering the smaller Masakazu's neck. Masakazu coughs as he holds his neck and rolls away, out of the ring. Dwayne Cross begins the 20 count.

Brian Rentfro: Masa playing it smart, taking a breather on the outside.

Jon McDaniel: I'm not so sure... Look!

Duff follows him right to the outside and as Masakazu turns around, Duff begins pummeling him with lefts and rights. Duff grabs Masakazu by the neck and holds him in the air. Masakazu's mask begins to get pulled off, and Masakazu grabs ahold of Duff's mask as Duff slams him down once again! Dwayne Cross looks on with baited breath as he calls for the bell. Duff's mask hits the ground, and Masakazu rips off.

Eric Emerson: As a result of double disqualification... This match is ruled a NO CONTEST!

Brian Rentfro: Well, that was uneventful!

Duff doesn't care as he grabs Masakazu and throws him back into the ring. Duff grabs a steel chair from ringside and slides in. Masakazu gets to his feet and turns around, walking right into a chair shot from Duff. It forces Masakazu into a stumble and then Duff swings again, cracking Masakazu's face open. Blood flows from Masakazu's face as he hits the canvas. Duff doesn't stop laying in the shots to Masakazu. The bell rings repeatedly but Duff does not relent as the crowd rises to their feet, cheering the assault. Duff sets the chair down on Masakazu's chest, and begins climbing to the top rope.

Brian Rentfro: This is disgusting! What the hell is this giant about to do to Masakazu right now?!

Jon McDaniel: Oh this doesn't look too good...

Duff jumps off the top rope, double foot stomps onto the chair and onto Masakazu's chest! Masakazu screams as he rolls in the ring, holding his chest and coughing loudly. He seems to be having trouble breathing as Duff points at him, and the crowd cheers him on.

Brian Rentfro: I suppose no one is going to come to his rescue... He probably shouldn't have cut ties with The Order.

Jon McDaniel: I'm sorry, but Masakazu does not deserve to be saved.

Duff removes the padding from one of the corner turnbuckles then picks Masakazu up. He hoists Masakazu up and then proceeds to powerbomb him head first into the exposed turnbuckle. Masakazu's head snaps around and he remains motionless in the ring.

"Intervention is neccesary..."

Duff shoots his gaze up as those words are said over the speakers.

Suddenly "The Imperial March Remix" by Rage Against The Machine hits over the sound systems and Reaver appears at the entrance ramp.

Brian Rentfro: Oh shit...

Jon McDaniel: What's HE doing here?! He's supposed to just be in Rebel Pro?!

Reaver bows before the ring as he approaches, ignoring the booing fans. Suddenly the fans try warning Duff as from the rafters, a man in a black robe and hood is lowered. The man extends his arms outwards as he lands right behind Duff. He tilts his head back and we see the mask of the only person it could be.

Jon McDaniel: Oh no...

Brian Rentfro: OH YES!

Kalis steps back, drops the robe and throws his mask off. Duff is still focused on Reaver as Kalis helps Masakazu get to his feet. Reaver hops up onto the apron and shows both of his fists to have brass knuckles on them. Masakazu leans against the ropes, clutching his side as Kalis raises his arms in the air slowly. He snaps them down and pyros shoot off encircling the ring. Duff turns around and now is face to face with Simon Kalis.

Jon McDaniel: Things are about to explode folks...

Duff looks at Kalis, knowing Reaver is right behind him and ready to strike him down. Kalis recieves a microphone from Emerson and nods.

Simon Kalis: Duff. Mr. McCoy. You have two options right now. Either you agree to come peacefully. Or I will fucking destroy you, right now.

Kalis smirks as the crowd boos, all of them witness to the fact he seems fully recovered from his injuries.

Brian Rentfro: Our Lord seems healthy as a horse, Jon. He could whoop your ass at 30%, imagine him at 100%.

Duff steps back and nods, placing his hands behind his back. The crowd boos loudly and seems to be in shock as Reaver hops into the ring, pulls rope out of his back pocket and ties Duff's hands together. Kalis drops the microphone and nods as he reaches back into the robe he dropped, and unattaches a black bag. He puts the black bag over Duff's head as they exit the ring. "Invaders Must Die" begins to play again as all four men begin making their leave.

Jon McDaniel: What the hell? Is he taking Duff?

Brian Rentfro: This is what Duff wanted, afterall. So its a happy ending!

Jon McDaniel: No... No it's not!

(wrote that in and realised I used it before. I'm so predictable)

The camera shifts backstage, where we see Bound by Blood members Jen Corlen-Blazenwing, Sarah and Katie James, and PWA Grizzly Beer Champion Emily Corlen. They appear to be waiting for somebody. After a few moments of awkward silence (except from Katie, who happens to be too busy reapplying her makeup to care), Sarah speaks up.

Sarah: So… what’s going on? Katie and I have a match to prepare for.

Emily: Don’t look at me. Jen just got an e-mail from Chamelion last night that told us to meet him here at this time. Maybe it has something to do with the Apostles?

Jen: I don’t know. The tone sounded like it specifically concerned Bound by Blood. I guess we’ll see… here he comes now.

Emily, Jen and Sarah all turn their attention down the hallway (Katie, of course, being too busy with her looks to notice) and moments later, Chamelion enters the frame, briefcase in hand.

Chamelion: Ladies.

The women nod back, eyes curious.

Chamelion: To stifle any questions that may be sparked, what I'm about to present to you has been authorized by the Board of Directors per my suggestion.

Hefting the briefcase, he opens it towards Emily Corlen. Her eyes widen, a smile forming.

Chamelion: Do me a favor, though, and keep Xan Vaxman's greedy hands away from it, okay?

Emily takes out a brand new gold plated Grizzly Beer Championship title.

Emily: Sweet.

Chamelion: I'd say so. The BOD and PWA officially recognize this belt as the true PWA Grizzly Beer Championship. Xan will just be fined the cost of the other belt out of his weekly earnings for misappropriated PWA Property.

Emily: I didn't expect such a kind gesture from you.

Chamelion: Yeah, I shock people. Now, let's talk business. Let's talk.. Apostles.

The four share a smile as the scene goes back to ringside.

El Gringo Tonto vs Emily Corlen

Eric Emerson: Ladies and gentlemen, this next match is scheduled for one fall and is for… something Grizzly Beer title related.

The crowd cheer because they’re saps.

Eric Emerson: Introducing first…

"Hey amigos . . ."

A very Mexican style rhythm started to play for a short period of time. Meanwhile, a second very announcery looking guy slips into the ring in front of Emerson. He’s got his own mic and everything. How organized.

"Adelante amigos . . ."

Out of seemingly nowhere the beat switched into a very heavy sound as El Gringo Tonto came flying out of the curtain and darted towards the ring. He slid in, got up, walked over to the opposite ropes and started making silly and insulting faces at the live audience.

Eru González: "Introducir en el anillo, con un peso de cien kilogramo y en la altura ciento ochenta y dos centímetro, de Definitivamente No Mexico, démosle la bienvenida al Elllll Grinnngooo Tooontoooooo!!!"

The lights in the arena cut to black and the opening chords of "Make Some Noise" by Krystal Meyers hits the P.A. as the stage explodes with pyro and green strobe lights fill the arena. As the crowd boos, "The Emerald Phoenix" Emily Corlen slowly rises up through the stage, her arms outstretched akin to wings.

Eric Emerson: She hails from Rockford, Illinois...

The flames on the stage subside and the strobe lights slow down as Emily begins making her way down the ramp. By the time she reaches ringside, the strobe lights have completely stopped and green spotlights have begun swirling around the crowd and ring.

Eric Emerson: Representing Bound by Blood...

After making her way around the ring once, Emily hoists herself onto the apron and enters the ring through the first and second ropes.

Eric Emerson: She is the Emerald Phoenix… she is EMILY… CORRRRRRLENNNNN!!!

Emily makes her way to all four corners of the ring, climbing up each and stretching her arms out like wings. After the fourth corner, she removes her cape and hands it to the referee. As the lights return to normal and the music fades, Emily slowly paces around the canvas, glancing out to the crowd and smirking.

Ding Ding

Collar and elbow in the middle of the ring, but Gringo with a fast elbow rocks Emily backwards. Gringo presses his advantage with a second elbow before whipping Emily into the corner. Gringo rushes in, but Emily is quick as well, lifting her feet up to slam into Gringo's chest spinning him around to clutch at his chest. Emily dives from the second rope with a bulldog taking Gringo down. Emily pulls him up, but Gringo slams a fist into her midsection before slamming a palm strike right into her down turned face. Gringo with a chop to her chest backs her up. A second chop, and a third finally has her in the corner.

Brian Rentfro: El Gringo dominating this chick.

Jon McDaniel: Emily is a champion for a reason Brian, don't count her out just yet.

Gringo mounts Emily in the corner, looking out to the crowd before pounding downards with a right fist. The referee is in there quickly warning Gringo about the closed fist, but Gringo either doesn't hear him or doesn't understand him as he delivers a second fist to her face. Scott Swindell pulls El Gringo down, warning him one last time. Emily catches her breath in the corner, El Gringo rushes back in. Emily moves out of the way, Gringo's face slams right into the top turnbuckle.

Jon McDaniel: Just like that Emily is back on offense.

Brian Rentfro: Come on Gringo!

Gringo spins around, Emily with a kick to his ribs. Gringo holds at his right side, but Emily changes to his left side kicking him with fierceness. Gringo is holding at his ribs as Emily runs up his front to clasp his head between her feet. Emily flips backwards, but Gringo counters with a sit out powerbomb, going for a quick cover.

Emily kicks out.

Jon McDaniel: Close count there.

Brian Rentfro: A bit slow if you ask me.

Gringo thought so as well as he is up in Scott's face and letting him know he thought it was a slow count as well. Emily rolls Gringo up from behind.

Gringo kicks out and is up to his feet quickly. Emily is up as well and these two lock up again. Gringo with a side headlock, but Emily shoves him into the ropes. Gringo holds onto the ropes and the side headlock, but Emily is able to lift one leg throwing Gringo off balance sending him stumbling. Emily up on the top rope, springing off with a roundhouse kick catching Gringo squarely on the side of the head and with his head draping over the middle rope. Emily runs bouncing off the ropes and flipping herself over the top to land on the back of Gringo's head with her ass, sending his throat into the middle rope. Gringo pulls himself back in the ring, gagging and clutching at his throat.

Brian Rentfro: That should be outlawed!

Jon McDaniel: What? That was perfectly legal.

Emily leaps back up to the apron and climbs to the top turnbuckle, perching there and waiting for Gringo to turn around. Gringo does and Emily flies with a crossbody. Gringo manages to catch her, spinning around with a slam in center ring. Gringo still trying to breath, he hits the ropes. Gringo with a baseball slide into the side of her skull and his momentum is beginning to grow here. Gringo pulls Emily up to a vertical base before shoving his elbow deep into her midsection. Gringo locks on a abdominal stretch, making sure to pound his elbow and forearm into her extended ribs. Scott Swindell is in Emily's face asking if she wants to submit. While he is asking, Gringo reaches back and grasps the top rope to gain leverage and increase the pain flow.

Jon McDaniel: Come on Scott! Look behind Gringo!

Brian Rentfro: What? I don't see anything.

Jon McDaniel: You wouldn't!

Scott looks up, but Gringo has just released the top rope, Swindell sees nothing, but the rope shaking slightly; and Gringo tries to explain this away with a stomp on the canvas. Scott back to checking on the grunting Emily and once again Gringo grabs the top rope for more leverage and Emily's grunts intensify. Scott sees this time, kicking Gringo's wrist away from the top rope and he holds at his wrist in obvious pain. Emily manages to lift him up onto her shoulders and spin around with some sort of airplane spin into a neckbreaker type move out of desperation. Emily is down, but more importantly for her, El Gringo is down as well. Scott Swindell begins his mandatory count.

Emily crawls for the bottom rope as Gringo rolls onto his stomach and crawls for another bottom rope.

Emily has the bottom rope, Gringo doesn't.

Emily begins to pull herself up as Gringo is still crawling for the rope.

Emily reaches the middle rope as Gringo is now clutching at the bottom rope.

Emily is up,, shaky but still up. Gringo is pulling himself up as well, clutching at the back of his neck.

Scott cuts off the count as Emily nods she rushes forward. Gringo turns around, front kick right to his face. Emily falls to the canvas on her feet, leaping up to the top rope, flying backwards with a back fist sending Gringo stumbling towards the center of the ring. Emily rushes her moves as she bounces off the ropes, past Gringo, to leap to the middle rope and spring back to deliver a hurricanrana to flip and twist Gringo around to center ring. Emily makes a cover.

Gringo gets a shoulder up and Emily wastes no time in arguing the point. Emily is climbing up top, to the skies and flies off with a 360 degrees flip onto canvas. Gringo manages to roll out of the way just in time. He holds at his neck, but manages to pull Emily up to her feet. Side headlock applied, he pounds away at her forehead to weaken her further. Emily shoves Gringo towards the ropes, but he leaps up to the middle rope while releasing her head, to float around, placing his leg over the back of her skull and driving her face first into the canvas.

Jon McDaniel: What a move there by Gringo.

Brian Rentfro: Glad that you notice talent and Gringo isn't just something pretty to look at for the ladies.

El Gringo lifts Emily up, slapping on a sleeper hold in the center ring. Emily's eyes are already closed, but she is somehow struggling for the ropes. She reaches out and grabs the top... but El Gringo yanks her back, slapping on a sleeper holds that strangely looks as though she is choking. Scott Swindell is unable to tell.

Jon McDaniel: Ah hah! It is Xan Vaxman!

Brian Rentfro: Many people can use the sleeper hold, it is a fairly well known move.

Scott lifts the arm... it falls once. He lifts again... it falls a second time. Scott lifts again... but it falls.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

Eric Emerson: Winner of the match as result of a knock-out... El Grrrrrrrringo Tonnnnnnnnto!

Gringo stands tall in the center of the ring, but his moment is cut short when Blake Whitcroft rushes the ring out of nowhere. El Gringo bails and leaves Corlen to fend for herself

Jon McDaniel: What? The?

Brian Rentfro: Why?

Blake leaps on the still groggy champion and snatches her up into a Fisherman Buster, crushing her into the mat.

Jon McDaniel: I don’t believe it!

The entire country of Argentina (not really) are on their feet as Blake jumps back to his, demanding a microphone as he does.

Blake Witcroft: Wew, wew, wew, isn’ this just a sweet surprise. I’m back mates it’s been quite awhile since ol’ Blake set foot inside of a PWA ring. Tonight I came back just to prove a point. A point that I want to get across to Management, to the fans, and most of all everyone in the Grizzly Beer titl’ hunt. I AM BACK, Do you ‘ear me? I am BACK! The British Brawla’ is still The Grizzly beer champ. I never lost the titl’ and none of you deserve a shot before I get one. So NEXT WEEK I demand a shot at what’s rightfully mine, the Grizzly Beer title.

Blake then throws the mic down and celebrates, while we cut to a break.

Langly and J. Maverick and Marxx vs Starr and The Cowgirls

We cut back to the ring with both teams ready to begin, but some more than others as Riona, Maverick and Marxx shoot in before the announcer can even begin.

Jon McDaniel: And here we go!

Brian Rentfro: Guess there’s no point in wasting time if you’re just here to lose to the better team anyway.

The bell sounds as the Apostle’s team rush in with Maverick and Marxx taking the Cowgirls out of the ring while Riona puts Starr on the mat with a low Dropkick. Marxx and Maverick then get Starr off the floor and put him to the ropes. Starr then flies back to Marxx who presses him into the air and then steps aside for Maverick to snatch him out of mid air with a Roundhouse kick in the ribs as he comes back to the mat. Starr then hunches up and Riona comes over him with a Double Stomp to the back to flatten him out. She then meets up with Marxx who takes a leg from Riona and uses it to give her a boost as he throws her into a Moonsault.

Jon McDaniel: The Apostles team working well at the outset.

Brian Rentfro: Despite the fact that at various times they’ve all tried to kill each other?

Jon McDaniel: Pretty much.

The Cowgirls try to get back into the fray but their opponents have the higher ground and manage to keep them at bay before putting them back on the floor as Marxx gets Starr up in the air and pitches him over the ropes into his partners. Marxx then follows out to get them to their feet while the two in the ring take up their positions.

Jon McDaniel: Don’t think he’s going to like this.

With Riona in the corner and Maverick against the ropes, Marxx gets the opponents setup and leaves them there as Maverick comes through the ropes with a Tope Con-Hilo to take out Starr while Riona jumps up the buckles and comes off the top with a Springboard Plancha to take out Meghan and bring the fans to their feet. The Apostles team struggle with their opponents on the floor but initially miss that Tamika slipped away into the ring. And as her opponents find their feet on the floor, Tamika comes across the ring with a Cartwheel to Handspring to Corkscrew Moonsault, clearing the ropes and whipping out every other competitor on the floor.

Jon McDaniel: Huge dive exchange!

Brian Rentfro: With the Order team coming out on top, of course.

Tamika then singles out Riona and gets her to the ring, where she makes the tag to Meghan for good measure. The sisters then put Riona to the ropes and then put her to the mat with a set of back elbows on the rebound. They then each take a leg and whip Riona over herself and back onto her feet before putting her face down on the mat with a Double Facebuster.

Brian Rentfro: The Strader sisters doing what they do best: breaking faces.

The referee finally gets Tamika out of the ring and leaves Meghan to her work. She let's Riona get as far as her knees before pawing at her with a rather half-hearted foot to the face. Riona comes back with an elbow to the gut that puts Meghan back a pace, only for her to come back with another kick featuring a lot more life. She then snatches a Front Guillotine and pulls Riona to her corner where she makes the tag to Tamika again.

Brian Rentfro: Good back and forth tag work by the Cowgirls.

Jon McDaniel: Not much team work with Starr though. Guess they still think he’s a douche bag.

Brian Rentfro: I’m sure they understand the chain of command.

Jon McDaniel: Yeah, why don’t you check with them?

Brian Rentfro: I’ll be sure to check once they win tonight.

The Cowgirls send Riona to the ropes again and then run right after, catching her on the turn as they slip through the ropes while catching a leg to bring Riona face down again. This makes Starr the legal man, and he wastes no time in following up with a Kneedrop through the back of her head.

Brian Rentfro: See, now he’s in play.

Jon McDaniel: Yeah… by default. Nice going.

Riona is then hefted up and tossed to a vacant corner, where Starr begins to light her up with punches against the stomach before backing up into an Elbow across the jaw. The shot momentarily wakes her up and she flies forward with one of her own, but the big man shakes it off and chucks her back to the ropes, before putting a huge knee into her gut. Riona falls to her knees and Starr proceeds to put a foot up into her face, crushing her against the second buckle before the ref finally breaks him off.

Brian Rentfro: The champ asserting his authority here.

Jon McDaniel: What, on the actual champ?

Starr beckons Riona to her feet and then catches her around the head to send her to the ropes. A shoulderblock is there to great her when she returns and a big Elbow Drop to the chest follows up nicely. Starr then drops to the cover but doesn't even get a count before Maverick puts a kick on the back of his head. Starr screams to the referee to keep him at bay, tying him up with Marxx and Maverick while his team gets back into play.

Brian Rentfro: Nice work by the champ to keep the ref at bay.

Jon McDaniel: Stop calling him that because it’s a lie.

Brian Rentfro: The records state otherwise.

The Cowgirls don't even bother with a tag on the switch, and jump to the centre of the ring where Starr his Riona set in a Wheelbarrow. He then whips her up to height for Meghan to land a Superkick before Tamika puts to knees up into Riona's face and falls back, splitting her lip across her knee. Starr then snaps back with a Wheelbarrow Suplex for good measure, before ditching the ring along with Tamika while Meghan makes the cover. The referee steps in on que.

Jon McDaniel: And Riona surges back to life!

Riona rolls to her front and dabs her lip. She then does her best to kick her way out, but Meghan goes to ground with a Grapevine while making the tag to her sister. Tamika then hurtles the ropes and comes down with a Back Senton to strip the fight from Riona again.

Jon McDaniel: Riona held down again. The championship team are really doing a number on her.

The Cowgirls put Riona against the ropes and take up their positions as Tamika hits the ropes while Meghan tags Riona with a few shots. Meghan then turns to her sister and pushes her up into the air on the rebound. Tamika kicks out for a Dropkick on the fall, but unfortunately for her, Riona takes a step to the side and then smashes her with a horrendous elbow strike.

Jon McDaniel: Tamika is gone!

Brian Rentfro: She’ll be back.

Jon McDaniel: Her teeth won’t.

Meghan turns with the commotion and immediately launches a kick at a somewhat groggy looking Riona Langly, but she catches Meghan's foot and spins her one way while she goes the other to smash her with a back elbow before chaining it into a DDT.

Jon McDaniel: She’s building some momentum.

Brian Rentfro: For now.

The crowds are on their feet as Riona pulls herself together and starts looking for a tag. Meghan does the same, but Riona gets their first and brings Marxx into the game.

Jon McDaniel: Here comes the cavalry.

Marxx immediately takes out Meghan with a big Clothesline before turning to catch Tamika under arm and Hip-Toss her onto the pile with her sister. The two then roll out to the floor to bring in Starr, who attacks Marxx from behind with a series of Forearms. He then whips Marxx to the ropes, but finds himself turned around and headed right for Maverick, who springs to the top-rope, leaps forward and destroys Starr with a flying knee.

Jon McDaniel: The Tony Jaa!

Brian Rentfro: And Lucious is wiped-out!

Johnny is quickly bundled out of the ring by the referee while Marxx picks up the pieces of whatever is left of Starr, gets him up on his shoulder and then takes off running to destroy him with the Schwein.

Brian Rentfro: Leaving Marxx!

Jon McDaniel: He hasn’t lost a single step.

Starr gets crushed into the mat before Marxx turns over into a cover.

Jon McDaniel: Tamika in to break up the cover.

Starr rolls out to the floor to regroup while Tamika launches a few kicks at Marxx. A Spinning Heelkick misses its mark however, and leaves Tamika stranded on his shoulders as he surges to his feet. He then prepares to drill her into the mat but Meghan cuts him down from behind to put him back to his knees. Tamika then hops off and drives a Roundhouse Kick into his chest while Meghan does the same from behind.

Jon McDaniel: Big combination on the Midnight Role Model.

The two then whip him to the ropes and get into step with Meghan going forward for a Powerslam while Tamika hits the ropes and rushes back into the Neckbreaker.

Brian Rentfro: Now The Cowgirls from Hell turn the tides with the Over and Out!

Tamika shoots for the cover while Meghan moves to block Riona.

Brian Rentfro: No!

Jon McDaniel: They had one side covered, but here comes Maverick from the other.

Meghan turns to help her sister but Riona pulls her to the outside, leading to an exchange of strikes on the floor. Meanwhile Maverick opens up Tamika with a series of open hand strikes about the gut and chest before pulling her down into a knee between the eyes. Tamika staggers back into the ropes and then propels herself into a Clothesline that Johnny easily steps passed. Tamika goes to the ropes and Mavericks comes after, hitting them just a few seconds later as he jumps up to place his feet on the second and fire himself backwards. Tamika then turns right into a Barrel Roll, as Johnny flies, twists and blasts straight through her.

Brian Rentfro: PSYCHO CRUSHER!

Jon McDaniel: That’s not what he calls it.

Brian Rentfro: But that’s what it is.

Maverick then jumps back to his feet, right into the hands of Lucious Starr, who sweeps him onto his shoulders from behind and then smashes him into the mat with the Reverse FU. He then jumps back up and into a Roaring Elbow from Langly that sends the spit flying and him back into the ropes. He doesn’t get a chance to reply though as Riona turns to wing another shot at Meghan, which sails right overhead. Riona then turns around into a Superkick from Meghan, which jacks her jaw and sets her into the corner.

Meghan has her rocked.

Meghan rushes her with a set of knees into the stomach before running to the ropes behind her. She rushes back for another hit but Riona steps forward and puts a hand on her head and sends her to the otherside, turns with her, and then smashes her with a Roaring Elbow of her own.

Jon McDaniel: It’s back and forth with these girls, and neither one is going down.

Meghan goes back but not out and jumps back for another hit, but Riona dodges out of the way and sends her to Starr, who guts her with a massive Spear.

Brian Rentfro: Oh, that’s not good.

Starr clambers off his partner and darts his eyes around, but with his opponents lining up behind him, he decides that discretion really is the better part of valor, and leaves his partners to their fate.

Brian Rentfro: What?

Jon McDaniel: Looks like he’s taking his belt and going home.

While Starr makes his escape, Tamika rushes back in to help her sister; but it proves to be a less than fruitful endeavor as she finds herself set about by all three. Maverick opens up his account with a series of strikes leading to a Spinning Backfist that turns her over to Riona. Riona then follows with a kick to the stomach and then a spinning elbow that snaps her around to Marxx who levels her with a huge Bicycle Kick.

Jon McDaniel: And the Cowgirls night has gone down hill very quickly.

With Meghan down and Tamika out, it’s all fairly elementary; but that doesn’t stop Johnny scooping her off the mat and hooking her up for a reverse DDT.

Brian Rentfro: Looks like she’s about to become Another Body Murdered.

Jon McDaniel: Looks like she’s dyeing on her shield tonight.

Johnny gets her up, hooks and leg and then drives her straight down into the mat to finish her off. He then slips on a cover.

Jon McDaniel: And it’s all over!

Johnny steps off the cover and into the ropes to receive his cheers, as does the rest of his team. Meanwhile Meghan has her wits about her, and with her opponents distracted, she manages to slip in and help her sister from the ring.

Jon McDaniel: Looks like the Apostles strike blood tonight.

Brian Rentfro: What does that even mean?

Jon McDaniel: It means fuck you, the PWA guys win this ‘round.

Brian Rentfro: Jon!

Jon McDaniel: Post watershed Brian, I’m ok. Anyway folks, that’s all we have time for. See you next week!

Brian Rentfro: Next week when Simon Kalis fixes everything like he always does.

Jon McDaniel: Whatever, Brian. Whatever.
